We enjoyed our stay at this modern hotel. The receptionist is super efficient and helpful—communicating with us via a translation app. The location is quiet with  a good seafood restaurant and small convenience store steps away. The rooms are very spacious and modern. The bed is comfortable and everything is very clean. We didn’t see a laundry sheet though. As all over China in winter, the temperature in the room was centrally set to 24-25C and we needed to open the window to avoid overheating. Also, the smell of recirculated cigarette smoke wasn’t pleasant and opening the window helped. Again, a standard issue in China. The breakfast was 30 yuan per person and well worth it. A huge spread of fresh salads, various Chinese dishes, fruit and an egg station. You won’t need lunch…:) A very pleasant stay indeed.

The hotel is opposite the old Tonghua Railway Station and the traffic is super convenient. The rooms are spacious and bright, the bedding is clean and tidy, and the quality of the whole season is as reassuring as ever. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and the breakfast was rich and tasted good. The overall price is very high, I will choose this one next time I come to Tonghua!
