"This hotel is very close to Weihai Railway Station. The lobby is spacious, and the rooms are clean. I had a good experience during my two-day stay. The front desk was very responsive to requests; dental floss and a charging adapter were delivered to my room with just one phone call. The service was excellent. The hotel is surrounded by a huge commercial area, Hanlefong, with plenty of food and drink options. It's also not too far from the seaside park. Avoiding the summer heat, it's very pleasant to take a walk to the seaside park to look at the sea at sunset. Sharing some views of the marine park."

"I serendipitously stumbled upon New Journey Hotel online, and it made my three-day trip even more wonderful. The hotel entrance isn't grand, but once you go upstairs, it's surprisingly spacious with many rooms. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and tidy, and the breakfast selection is plentiful. On the day of check-in, the hotel even sent us public transportation options and taxi fares from the hotel to various attractions. Another pleasant surprise was that the beach was just one street away. Overall, it was great! I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Weihai."

"This is my first time seriously writing a negative review.
* **Serious hygiene issues:** The chopstick holder in the restaurant was very dirty, and the corners of the bathroom were old and rundown.
* **Poor sound insulation:** On the 13th floor, I could hear noise from the hallway, and the upstairs neighbors frequently made thumping and running sounds at 11 PM. The smell from the 6th-floor restaurant could be smelled with the windows open. Rooms not facing the ocean were very close to the adjacent building, so we had to keep the sheer curtains closed all day.
* **Obvious renovation smell:** The bunk beds in the family room still had a noticeable odor, and the hallway smelled strongly of disinfectant.
* **Service:** The restaurant staff were quite good, and the housekeeping lady was excellent. The male front desk staff member was also good, but the female staff needs to improve her service awareness. When I called to ask for children's toiletries, she said she would check and send them if available. This is a family-friendly hotel, how can they not have children's toiletries?"

"The hotel called us in advance to confirm our check-in time and sent us a message with directions. When we arrived, they even upgraded us to a suite and prepared small gifts for the kids, which was very thoughtful. The breakfast was decent; it's not a five-star hotel, but it had everything we needed. The late check-out was also great – the kids got to play in the sea, come back for a shower, and then we checked out, which was super convenient. I left a ring behind, and customer service messaged me about it. It's the kind of small item that's easily overlooked, which shows how meticulous the housekeeping staff are. Being right on the beach downstairs was incredibly convenient too."

"This stay exceeded our expectations! The shuttle service was very prompt. Both the pick-up driver and Mr. Liang, who drove us to the station, provided excellent service, actively helping with our luggage and giving directions. Upon check-in, considering we were a family, the staff thoughtfully arranged our two rooms on the same floor and even gave us a free room upgrade, which was incredibly considerate.
Manager Ren, in particular, consistently checked in on our stay, showing great attention to detail. The hotel cleaning was also excellent, with items in our room replaced promptly every day. All staff maintained a smiling and high-quality service attitude.

"Very satisfied, come back next time! This stay experience is great! The location is adjacent to the west gate of Shandong University, and the Shanda Night Market is downstairs. "The room had no strange smells, was spacious and comfortable, definitely a high-end hotel type. Breakfast was abundant, and the location was super convenient – right outside the station! It's also very close to Hanlefang Night Market, making getting around easy. We rented an electric scooter and I highly recommend (Bajie Rentals) downstairs; the owner is really nice. Weihai left a great impression on us. We were so busy having fun that we didn't take any photos of the hotel, but I definitely recommend this place."

"Very comfortable! I really enjoyed having a king-size bed all to myself. The mirror with the light was great for makeup, and there's a full-length mirror opposite the coat rack by the entrance, which was perfect for checking out my outfits and taking full-body selfies. It was really good."

"I booked this hotel for my parents who were in town for a medical check-up. Its close proximity to the hospital was a major plus. As someone who works in the hotel industry, I thoroughly read through all the reviews, both positive and negative, before booking. I wanted to ensure my parents had a convenient and comfortable stay. This hotel's service truly impressed me! The front desk staff was very accommodating and arranged the room according to our needs. Knowing it was for my parents, they thoughtfully held a room for them and even provided me with the room number in advance. My dad was very happy with his stay. Although the room wasn't exceptionally large, it was impeccably clean and well-maintained. During their extended stay, housekeeping arranged for daily cleaning and replenished all disposable amenities. Currently, during the off-season, the price is quite affordable, yet I felt like I was getting a much more expensive experience for what I paid – truly excellent value! I didn't stay myself, so I don't have photos, but my parents' feedback was overwhelmingly positive. I was so relieved knowing they were comfortable and well-cared for, which gave me great peace of mind. Business is tough these days, and while a hypercritical person might find minor flaws given the price (even expensive hotels face such scrutiny), for 90% of people, I honestly believe this hotel offers incredible value for money! Wishing the front desk staff and the owner great success!"

This place is in a prime spot! It’s incredibly close to both the bus station (coming from Yantai) and the high-speed railway station (coming from Qingdao). You can easily walk there in less than 10 minutes, which made traveling so hassle-free.
Smooth Check-In & Lovely Room
The property is inside a condo-style building that hosts multiple hotels. For this one, just head up to the 12th floor to check in. I arrived early around 11:00 AM, and they kindly let me check in right away! The room itself was very spacious, clean, and fully equipped with amenities. It has a nice window, and you can adjust the AC yourself, which was great.
Great Amenities & Helpful Staff
The staff were wonderful and super helpful via WeChat, making communication so easy. The location is also fantastic—it’s right near the Hanlefang Pedestrian Street. There are about 3 convenience stores right underneath the building and 3–4 restaurants nearby, so finding food or snacks is never an issue. Plus, getting to other tourist attractions by taxi from here is super convenient!
Summary: Perfect location, great facilities, and wonderful service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Weihai! 💖

We lived for three people, stayed for five days and four nights, a came down every day is very cost-effective! And the room is very beautiful! I feel fragrant when I walk in (it should be a aromatherapy, and the cleaning is also very clean (it is too tired to come back after playing every day, I have no time to take pictures), and I can see the sea when I open the curtains. Next, please comment on the No. 1 Xiaojiaojiao residents: The little girl feels beautiful~ mainly because the service attitude is super good! ! The store is what Doraemon wants, the room facilities are perfect, exactly the same as the net map, don't be afraid of stepping on thunder, I am not trusting. Five-star recommendation! Finally, the ancient style of ”Literature Dana” Xiaosheng Mu made a poem for this perfect homestay: The night outside the window is vast, and the window is black. Dozens of steps with friends, such as across the river. Will write a good sentence in red, Bella B&B is awesome. Mengjiao writes small new words, and I pick up a poem.

Guest UserFirst of all, the decor is great; I loved it at first sight, and the room matches the picture perfectly. It's very clean, the room is spacious, and it's soundproof—not noisy at all. Downstairs is the Shandong University Night Market, with tons of delicious and cheap food to choose from, including supermarkets, fruit shops, restaurants, and more. In short, buy it without hesitation, no complaints!!!

Guest UserI loved this resort! I highly recommend staying here for an amazing and relaxing time! The hotel is excellent! It was clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The front desk even had a fantastic girl that spoke perfect English. I spent most of my time soaking in the numerous hot springs, and there are at least 20 of them. There is also an indoor pool and hot tubs, and the outdoor pool will be open in May. There was this darling worker who kept the tea coming all the time. I'd ask for a lake view the next time so I could sit in the room and enjoy the view. The restaurant was excellent. The breakfast was also really well stocked. The only thing I would add is yougart. I can overstate what a wonderful experience this weekend was. If you are wanting to go into the city and see the sights, it is a little far, around 75RMB for a DiDi. And the spa, although it was really nice, was on the expensive side. I will be back! 10/10

Guest UserWe visited Weihai during the May Day holiday and chose the Weihai International Business Hotel, which is very close to the pier, to go to Liugong Island. It's a 15-minute walk to the pier. With children, we took a taxi, which was a 3-minute ride. After a long day at Liugong Island, we were exhausted and were able to quickly return to the hotel to rest. The room butler, Lina, provided exceptionally attentive service. She had already hung the children's laundry on the closet door and hung it out to dry by the window when we returned. The hotel is a state-owned enterprise. It was quite early, but the hotel was clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. The only downside was the slightly stiff bath towels. The view from the sea-view room was unbeatable. We could see the Liugong Island pier and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

You can see Bloubergstrand right when you wake up, and the beach is super close, just a short walk away. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the environment and hygiene here are much cleaner, and there are no strange smells. Plus, the front desk lady was very helpful and accommodating; we arrived quite late at night, and she was still very attentive and responsible.

Stepping onto the balcony, you're greeted by the stunning blue ocean – a panorama of sky blue and sea blue that really amplifies the sense of vastness. The room was spacious and clean, the king-size bed was just the right firmness, and the hygiene was meticulously done. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the hotel facilities were comprehensive, with a private beach right outside. It’s a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The forest scenery is incredibly healing, and it offers great value for money. I decisively extended my stay!

I only want to talk about one question this time: my friend is visiting the beach and wants to have lunch nearby before returning to the hotel to check out. After consultation with our hotel, we want to extend the stay for 2 hours (for free), even 1 hour is fine, because the friend returns to the hotel after dinner Checking out is convenient and saves time. The hotel declined (late check-out) and said it was not allowed according to hotel regulations. Normally, check-out is at 12 o'clock. My friend had to rush back and check out first, and then rush to the beach (to have dinner). If you can't even meet the basic requirements of guests (many hotels in the industry have delayed check-out until 2 pm or even 3 pm), why should you open a hotel? At the same time, after several days of observation, the hotel occupancy rate is not too high. These are not issues of the quality of front desk staff, but management issues that should be reflected on. (no pictures)
