Cologne Hotels with Balcony

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and next to a bustling shopping street. Public transport is convenient, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. However, it was a real shame that when I stayed in late June, the air conditioning in my room wasn't working. No matter what I set it to, the room temperature stayed at 28-29 degrees Celsius. I couldn't even use a sheet at night without sweating. They offered to show me another room, but it was just as hot. I'd recommend avoiding this place.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the train station, which is very convenient. It's close to the street, so there's some noise at night, requiring windows to be kept shut. There's a balcony, which is pleasant for a breeze in the morning and evening, offering views of the train station and Cologne Cathedral. The room is relatively clean, and the front desk staff are very nice. The Three Gu Maocai restaurant nearby downstairs has good food.

This comment may be a bit long. I come here for check in around 3:30pm, there are a group of elders checking in front me, I waited around 30minutes there. I think the reception is a responsible one but he can either speed up the progress, skip some of the elders questions, and also hotel to consider add one more staff there to support. The long waiting time of check-in delay my travel visit here. The room is very clean, and also new. The place is a little far away by not that far from main city. The room windows are all locked, it is a bit frustrated. The hot water suspended, and when i called reception for 5 times, they finally pick my phone up saying technical issues into 8am , which i have to leave the hotel at 8:15am for my flight... Finally, the breakfast is insanely good! You guys can have a try.

It's very beautiful and new, far from Cologne station, so that's perfect. However, there are no slippers in the amenities, so it is more relaxing to bring them with you.

Ich war in Zimmer 56 untergebracht und habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre, die durch das Zimmer durch die Dachgeschoss entstand, war einfach toll. Das Zimmer war sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und perfekt für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Das Hotel überzeugt zudem durch seine zentrale, aber ruhige Lage und den freundlichen Service. Ich würde das Midtown Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder!

The hotel was in a great location, right by the cathedral and close to the shopping district and mainline train station. The room was big, spacious and clean. However unfortunately at the moment there is a lot of construction work happening behind the hotel where our room was and it was very hard to sleep with such loud noises from 7am we also had to leave the windows open as it was very warm and there was no air conditioning in the room which also didnt help. There was a free coffee machine available to make hot drinks in the lobby to take to the room however it wasnt always working when we needed it. Otherwise good value hotel.

A rather basic hotel, but worthy of its price. The hotel is suitable for people with a limited budget but who want to live here for a long time. In addition to ordinary hotel rooms, there are also public living rooms and public bathrooms (that is, there are also rooms without bathrooms). The overall feel is more like a student dormitory. The room was very cold when I arrived. I searched for a long time before I realized that the heating was not turned on. So my impression of this hotel is cold and bleak, and I guess I won't go there again in the future. But it would be unfair to say that this hotel has nothing good to offer.
