"At first I was a bit hesitant to stay here because I usually prefer hotels that have been refurbished or built within 2 years. But this place really beat my expectations. The conditions of all the furniture etc was in excellent condition. They also include a free photoshoot along with your room. The rooms and gardens were also very tastefully designed.
I guess the only thing I didn’t like was the layout of the bathroom. First, the toilet is too close to the shower place. Second, whenever I showered, the water seemed to have leaked onto the ground, which made it slightly dangerous as it was slippery."

"Facilities: The facilities are well-equipped. We booked a twin room and came to Yangzhou with our child. The front desk even proactively told us we could push the beds together.
Cleanliness: Excellent cleanliness, one of the best for a hotel in this price range. There's also a laundry room where you can wash and dry clothes, which is super important given the weather in Yangzhou.
Environment: Good sound insulation, and the double curtains offer both privacy and light. There's also a small table in the room. Picture 2 shows us eating Yangzhou duck on the hotel's small table. We also ordered takeout, and they delivered it directly to our room, which we really appreciate 💕. The background of picture 3 is the bathroom. Coming out of the bathroom, there's a clothes hanging closet ➡️ mirror ➡️ clothes folding closet.
Service: Full marks for service. Although we didn't book a Hanfu photoshoot or have ice cream, we had a very pleasant stay 😋.
Additional notes: The location here is excellent. There are dim sum restaurants right outside, and it's very close to Caiyi Lane and Dongguan Street.
Another note: Don't eat at those places in Caiyi Lane that ask if you want to eat; they're terrible. We tried two places, and they were so bad 🤧. In the end, we found a pretty good 138-yuan four-person meal deal on Douyin. Although it was a high-volume place, it tasted much better than those hawkers. Picture 4 is the meal."

"This review represents my personal opinion only:
This is my second time staying at this Mercure hotel for a business trip to Yangzhou. Honestly, my first stay wasn't very good. When I checked out, the front desk attendant asked me how my stay was, so I shared my experience and suggestions with her. Then, as I was going to the garage to get my car, Manager Lu and the attendant immediately came to me, apologizing and explaining the situation. The attendant helped me with my luggage, and Manager Lu kept apologizing while escorting me all the way to the underground garage.
To be honest, I've stayed in many hotels during business trips before, and every hotel has its share of issues. However, this Mercure hotel's attitude towards resolving problems was incredibly proactive. It showed me that they genuinely respect their guests and address issues sincerely without shirking responsibility, unlike some hotels that just brush off guests after hearing a few complaints.
It was precisely because of Manager Lu's sincere attitude that I chose Mercure again for this business trip to Yangzhou. And this time, my experience was excellent; the issues I raised last time were resolved, and it felt fantastic. I really have to give a huge thumbs up to Manager Lu and his team! 👍🏻 If more hotels could be as proactive as Manager Lu in addressing and solving guest concerns, their business would surely thrive in the long run. I've already recommended this hotel to my company's HR for all colleagues traveling to Yangzhou on business."

"Traveling to Yangzhou, I chose to stay at Shangri-La Hotel Yangzhou, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The hotel is situated by Mingyue Lake, offering a serene and beautiful environment. It even has its own Liuyuan Jiangnan garden, with pavilions and waterside structures – every photo taken captures the beauty of Jiangnan.
The room was spacious with an elegant layout and clean bathroom. The lake view room's floor-toceiling windows offered an expansive view, perfect for watching the sunset over the lake in the evening. The bedding was very comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of sightseeing.
In terms of service, all staff members were gentle and courteous. Check-in was efficient, and requests were responded to promptly. The dining options were extensive, with a wide variety of breakfast items, including authentic Yangzhou morning tea dim sum. The exquisite Huaiyang cuisine at Xiang Palace (Michelin-starred) was also a highlight.
The location is excellent, very close to Yangzhou Railway Station. It's convenient to drive or take a taxi to Slender West Lake and the Grand Canal Museum. The hotel amenities are comprehensive; you can experience Yangzhou's unique culture right at the hotel. It feels like a complete resort experience, highly recommended for anyone visiting Yangzhou!"

"A great choice! The staff were enthusiastic and responded super fast. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere, almost entirely on foot. The bed in the room was just right, not too soft, not too hard, making for a great night's sleep. Breakfast was also good; you order your main dish, and there's a buffet for other items. The 'Lion's Head' meatballs were as good as those from famous restaurants. It will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Yangzhou."

Honestly, I'm not sure how they can claim to be a 5-star hotel. The room is tiny, and there isn't even a desk lamp. The soundproofing is also poor. Even calling it a 4-star might be a stretch. Besides its proximity to Yechun (a restaurant), I can't think of any other positives."

"The service was excellent, much better than many other hotels. The breakfast selection was pretty good and varied. However, the hotel facilities are a bit old, which is understandable given its age. When I first arrived, the AC wasn't cooling, but the maintenance staff fixed it, and it improved. One of the blankets was torn and shedding a lot of fluff... you should probably check those! The location is very convenient, close to attractions. While I appreciate your service, it's been so hot these past few days that you really should let the gate guards stand in the lobby – that's what I call people-oriented! Overall, it was quite good!"

"The staff attitude was amazing and their attentiveness was one of the stand out features of this hotel for me. They were so warm, friendly and helpful and I couldn't have asked for more.
The room I had was perfect for my stay. A large comfortable bed, working air-conditioning, decent shower and sizable room made my break very comfortable. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, with the efficiency of the cleaning team evident from the front door to the rooms!
The location is very convenient: sandwiched between two large shopping areas, a stones throw from the canal, various restaurants nearby and about a fifteen minutes walk from the start of Dongguan street (which is fantastic by the way), I was never very far from the action of the city! In fact, you can walk to all the major Yangzhou attractions from the hotel or hire an e-bike if you have a Chinese telephone number.
The breakfast is a buffet served in the opposite Ramada Hotel, a twenty second walk away from the front desk! It is a decent spread, not the best but by far not the worst. The inclusion of breakfast in the price of the hotel made the value for money even better.
This is a very good, cost-effective hotel with excellent staff, close to everything you would want to do in Yangzhou. I'd recommend this Hidden hotel and if highly recommend the city too. Fantastic experience for budget prices."

"Every year, I take my parents to Yangzhou for a vacation, and we used to always stay at the Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort. This time, we decided to try the Yangzhou Hotel. I spent a long time deliberating which building to choose when booking and finally settled on Building 11. Unexpectedly, it rained heavily in Yangzhou for two days, but thankfully, we chose Building 11! My parents didn't have to go outside for meals, hot spring soaks, or massages – everything was conveniently located within the building. Our garden view courtyard room had a small terrace, perfect for gentlemen who smoke. Every day, they provided a variety of beverages, snacks, and pastries. The hotel service was excellent, and they responded to issues very promptly and efficiently. My parents said they want to stay here again next year."

I saw on Ctrip before that the prices of Yangzhou Wuyi Hotel are flying high. Even far away places cost about 1,000. This price may seem expensive at first, but it is still okay after comparing all aspects. I used to stay in chain hotels and didn’t believe in folk inns, but after seeing it online, I couldn’t forget it. I thought it was a super interesting inn, so I decided to book it.
Location: Pi Shi Street, 200 meters from Guangling Youyan, 200 meters from Pi Shi Street, about 1 kilometer from Dongguan Street, and about 300 meters from Heyuan. Overall, the attractions are all around, so you can come back to rest after a while and go out again. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to Wenchang Pavilion. Looking down from the hotel, there are classical houses, which are very beautiful.
Environment: The room is quite big, with a simple wooden table and bed, Dyson air purifier, Dyson hair dryer, tea, snacks, and a small music box. There are many customized and unique little things. I am the type who eats, drinks, and lies down when I arrive at a place. I feel comfortable lying here for two days.
Others: There are not many rooms in the hotel, so it is also very quiet, and breakfast is provided. There is a large hall where you can drink coffee, tea, play the piano, and watch projections. The store also made a guide to the surrounding delicious places. When you leave, you can also prepare small specialties and a custom canvas bag. There is also a loft with sofas, flowers, and telescopes. You can enjoy the scenery in the loft and feel the style of the old city of Yangzhou. Although the surrounding navigation is all red, you can feel the slow life of Yangzhou here. ps: It is next to the fire station, which makes you feel safe, hahaha.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the old town of Guoching Road in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, next to Pishi Street. There are plenty of food options and convenience stores nearby. I booked a courtyard room, which was quite quiet.
The staff were very polite, but my takeaways weren't delivered to my room multiple times, which needs improvement.
There are no electric scooters at the entrance, so it's a bit of a walk to Dongguan Street. Occasionally, there are a few electric scooters, but they're quite old. The laundry room was clean, and the cleaning staff were also very polite.
The hotel proactively sent out Yangzhou travel guides and recommended shops, though I had a bit of trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi the first time.

This stay at Fangcun Inn in Yangzhou with my child was a fantastic experience! The inn's location is superb, right on the bustling Pishi Street, and there's parking available. It's also conveniently located for driving to other attractions, and the manager was very helpful in contacting us in advance about all arrangements. Finding food nearby is very convenient; the Yangzhou fried rice at Xiangyuan Teahouse was delicious! The rooms were clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities, making for a very comfortable stay. The inn has three adorable and gentle cats. The service was also very attentive, making us feel right at home. Overall, this place not only boasts a great location and comfortable environment but also a truly relaxing atmosphere, making it perfect for family trips. Highly recommended!

XiaoyuThe hotel is newly renovated and very clean. The front desk staff (both the young lady and gentleman) were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The proprietress is very good. When you arrive at the store, you invite tea and fruit to talk about the world. The room is also fragrant with lavender and jasmine. Because I had made an appointment with the Grand Canal Museum, I booked a superior king-size room with a private hot spring on the 24th. I was very satisfied with the front desk service from the beginning of the check-in. The service awareness was very good, and a disposable hot spring bag was given. The room was OK, with smart guest control and no odor. It snowed heavily in Yangzhou in the morning when I arrived, and it was said that hail fell... In such a cold day, the air conditioning and heating effect are very good, but the private hot spring is on the balcony. It was a bit cold when the breeze blew when entering and exiting the water. Of course, I didn't feel cold at all when I was soaking. I was sweating all over.... The hot spring pool is a bathtub type, very clean, and the water discharge speed is OK, unlike some private hot spring pools I visited before, some of which are dirty inside. I hope to install a curtain or something to block the wind, otherwise children will easily catch a cold. The breakfast is also good, and the dishes are relatively rich in my opinion. Full marks, absolutely full marks

Anonymous UserThe location of Hanting Hotel (Yangzhou Dongguan Street) is really amazing. It is Dongguan Street when you go out. It is super convenient to go to the ancient street and eat Huaiyang cuisine. You can walk to the attractions. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the sound insulation was good, and the sleep was very stable. The facilities are complete, the hot water is sufficient, and the toiletries are complete. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the check-in is efficient and the price is very high. The overall simplicity and comfort, convenient travel, it is too suitable to go shopping and eat Yangzhou, and I will choose to stay next time!

The door lock of the original room was a bit problematic, and the boss directly changed us to a more spacious one. Since it is an ancient building renovation, the facilities will be relatively old.
The location is super good, just turn a corner to Dongguan Street Food Street, parking in Dongguan Street ground parking lot is very convenient!
The service is also super good, the price of 200+ is free hot springs, drink coupons, and Hanfu photo experience. Not only is pet-friendly and free cleaning fee, but also free medical examination for pets is provided. But because of the conflict of time schedule, we finally experienced hot springs. Since the hot spring is experienced in another homestay (more than 600 meters away), the boss also borrowed the battery car from us, which was too touching. All in all, it is a great value experience.

YanzelilunExperience a private hot spring, rich in metasilicic acid and lithium, exclusively at this hotel. It seems to be the only one around Yangzhou Slender West Lake that offers private hot springs. The hot spring was incredibly relaxing. The first round of the minibar included Coke, Sprite, and Fanta. The hotel's location is excellent, with the East Gate of Slender West Lake within walking distance. There are also many restaurants nearby, so you can easily find options for both breakfast and dinner.

Bring your family to Yangzhou to participate in the marathon, and experience the beauty of Yangzhou in March of fireworks! When booking a room, I thought about getting closer to the starting point and finding this hotel. The unexpected stay experience made us feel what it is to be at home! The staff's service is warm and thoughtful, and the fruit and competition refueling package are specially presented! The hotel is fully equipped and the rooms are elegantly decorated. Because the marathon starts early, the hotel also serves breakfast in advance, and the breakfast category is quite rich! The hotel even provided a shuttle bus to send us to the starting point! After running back, I ate directly at the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. Huaiyang specialties were very delicious! Thank you very much for the thoughtful service of the hotel staff to let me go smoothly in Yangma PB! Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will choose Mingfa Hotel!
