I recommend staying in the East Wing; it's newer. There are so many activities available, remember to bring your swimsuit! On the 8th floor, there's an open-air hot spring pool. On the 2nd floor, the relaxation area has four saunas; follow the marked order and timings for a full 26-minute session. At 3 PM, there's a complimentary welcome cake in the hotel lobby. Both the included dinner and breakfast are buffet-style and the food was plentiful and delicious.

ZHEThe location of the B&B is very good. It is a Japanese-style residence and room layout. It is the home of the old Tangjin and has a sense of history. We stayed in the room ”loose”, very large, facing the beach and the sea, very quiet. The service is meticulous. The dinner is full, and the taste is very good. The bath is an indoor pool (not a hot spring but it is as clean as it is). Japanese breakfast is relatively simple, but it is not bad. The overall feeling is very comfortable, although the facilities are old, but the location, history, service, and catering of the house are enough to make up for the lack of facilities, and the whole is very clean and tidy.

The Japanese-style rooms aren't ideal for older people; you have to change shoes before entering the hotel and there's a seating arrangement in the room. The view is absolutely stunning; you can enjoy views of Karatsu Castle from the room, especially the beautiful night view. The service is also very good; they can communicate in English.

Escaping the high hotel prices in Fukuoka on a Saturday, I took the subway for an hour and a half to Karatsu and chose this hostel.
The experience was great. It's in a small city, just a five-minute walk from JR Karatsu Station. The front desk had instruction manuals, and the staff's English was fine. The check-in iPad supported Chinese.
The room had two separate restrooms and one shower room.
The bunk was spacious enough, with a small individual locker for valuables.
Everyone was very quiet, hardly making any noise. With earplugs in, I slept a full eight hours.

Guest UserThe atmosphere of the building after the parking lot was good and the tension rose, and it was too great to enjoy the sauna for 24 hours!
It was an inn that I liked bathing!

Guest UserThere was no one to check in at the hotel, but the procedure was simple and we were checked in quickly. The hotel is spacious and has more than ten parking spaces, making it very convenient for self-driving trips to Karatsu City. The room has a washing machine with a dryer, which is perfect for travelers on consecutive trips. The outdoor shower and bathtub are very comfortable. The room environment and facilities are very clean and well-equipped, and the price-performance ratio is very high. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance. It was a very satisfying experience.

Book when the room price is lower, the price/performance ratio is super high. The store is directly facing the seaside, with beautiful sea views, and is also close to the historical windbreak pine forest of Niji no Matsubara. The interior decoration is simple and tidy. The public activity area can be used for cooking, laundry, and clothes drying rods. The waiters are very friendly. A small hotel that is comfortable to stay in all the time.

kamiya99The hotel is ok, there is a convenience store not far from the neighborhood, the relationship of Japanese traffic, there is almost no one at night, there is no one on the street, if you take a taxi from the city, but you want to take a taxi from here at night, It really depends on luck, after all, can't compare with China. But very quiet. The bed is very soft
