Urayasu Hotels with Wifi

"This was my second stay here, after a 7-year gap. This time, to avoid the hassle of switching hotels, I decided to stay for a full 9 days. First, the positives: 1. **Great Location & Easy Access**: It's right outside Shin-Urayasu Station on the JE line, directly accessible via a connecting skybridge. 2. **Convenient Amenities Nearby**: There's a large shopping mall close by with plenty of dining options, and a Lawson convenience store downstairs. 3. **Free Disney Shuttle**: They offer a complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland. 4. **Excellent Airport Bus Service**: The airport bus stop is conveniently located at the hotel entrance. We took the earliest bus at 5:10 AM to Haneda Airport and arrived in about 40 minutes. 5. **Kid-Friendly Feature**: There's a projector on the second-floor reception area that keeps younger children entertained, which my child really enjoyed. Now, for the downsides: 1. **Shift Towards Budget**: Compared to my stay in 2019, it feels like the hotel has adopted a more economical approach. Is this a post-pandemic consequence? Disposable amenities are self-service on the second floor, and their quality is quite mediocre. 2. **Surprising Housekeeping Policy**: Upon check-in, I was explicitly told that housekeeping would only be provided on two of my nine days (once every three days), with only towel changes on the other days. I thought I misheard and had to confirm it. Honestly, this is the first time I've encountered such a policy in all my domestic and international hotel stays. I can understand changing bed linens every few days, as I don't change them daily at home, but being told that actual cleaning services wouldn't be provided at all on certain days was a first. This wasn't the case in 2019, and there was no mention of this policy in the hotel information on Ctrip, which surprised me. After complaining to Ctrip, the issue was resolved, and daily cleaning was provided thereafter. If they're not going to clean, then they should reduce the room rate for those days. But the daily rate remained the same, so why wasn't my room being cleaned? 3. **Lack of Guest Hospitality**: My 9-day stay was to celebrate my child's 4th birthday. I emailed the hotel beforehand, hoping for a small cake, which most hotels in my home country readily provide. However, the hotel's reply only provided a link to an all-Japanese website for me to purchase and reserve one myself. A 9-day stay for a birthday, and that's all they offer? It really felt like the hotel has no guest courtesy policy. 4. **Subpar Room Cleanliness**: The room cleaning was generally poor. There was dust on the kettle and table. On the day I checked in, I even found a pink hair tie left by the previous guest in the light trough behind the headboard. Perhaps because I stayed here in '19, I had certain expectations. But times have changed, and it seems the hotel's operational policies have too. Guests should decide for themselves if it meets their needs."

"The separate bath and toilet, plus the amenities, really uplifted my spirits! Among the official hotels, this one offers great value for money. And we were able to enter Disneyland a full 15 minutes early! Highly recommended for those who want to visit Disneyland. There's also a convenience store within the hotel, and parking is a flat 2000 yen until 5 PM the next day. The shuttle bus service to Disneyland is a lifesaver for families with kids too! So many great points."

"This was my second stay. While my previous stay and breakfast were excellent, this time I was in a somewhat dated room with an awkward twin bed setup, which felt a bit inconvenient. The desk was a fold-out type, and I didn't use it because unfolding it would have made the room feel even more cramped. Despite this, the breakfast was consistently delicious, and given the excellent value for money, I would still consider staying here again."

"This hotel was the first one we stayed at during our trip to Japan, and we were very satisfied and happy with the experience. It exceeded our expectations! The only slight disappointment was that we weren't given a room with a sea view, but everything else was perfect. I especially want to commend a staff member named 'Tanaka.' Their Chinese was very fluent, and they helped us call a taxi and confirm our destination. There was also a small incident where we left our plush toy 'Danzai' in the room, but after contacting the hotel, we were able to retrieve it. Another incredibly thoughtful detail was that I had left some empty small cosmetic bottles behind, and the housekeeping staff even collected them for me and returned them. If you're planning a trip to Disneyland, this hotel should be your first choice. What I liked most was the reasonable layout of the room, with three single beds and a circular sofa chair perfect for drinking tea, relaxing, or working."

"After a 9-year hiatus, I returned to Tokyo Disneyland and once again chose the Hilton Tokyo Bay. We booked a Magic Ocean Room, similar to our previous stay (last time was a family room for 5, this time a triple). Upon entering, the stark white ceiling light made it feel like an old guesthouse. Then, opening the window, we realized our room was on the lowest floor, the 3rd, and the tiny corner of 'ocean view' was simply appalling. Hilton, how can you call this an ocean-view room?! This was truly dishonest. In fairness, as an older hotel, some parts are a bit dated, but the overall facilities and services are complete and well-maintained. There's a shuttle bus service to JR Maihama Station and the Monorail Bayside Station (though the shuttle to Maihama Station runs every 20 minutes, so there's a long wait). The hotel is very close to Bayside Station, just a few minutes' walk. Plus, a new entrance to DisneySea's Fantasy Springs area has opened next to Bayside Station, making park access very convenient. There are two Lawsons inside the hotel, so if you return late after a fun day and haven't eaten, you won't go hungry. The hotel has a gym with a swimming pool. There's also a recreational pool, but it seems to be part of the Garden Pool Restaurant, meaning you need to book a meal to use it."

"We stayed here specifically for a few nights in Tokyo as Disney was part of our agenda. Overall I enjoyed this hotel - the location was great, very close (and covered) to the subway - less than 5 minutes. There are a couple of malls just next to the subway with lots of food options, supermarkets, Uniqlo etc. Great! Shuttle bus to Disneyland/sea was also one of the reasons we chose to stay here for the convenience to the parks and the service was great personally for us as we planned ahead - got to the bus stop (at DisneySEA) with some buffer to ensure we got a seat. However, there were no checks if you were a hotel guest for the service and guests from the adjacent hotel used the service which became very crowded, by the time it got to the DisneyLAND. For context this shuttle was only meant for Urayasu Brighton Hotel guests. The adjacent hotel had their own shuttle. Service here was great too - staff were very friendly unlike another hotel I stayed at in Ginza on the same trip. Rooms were refreshing for Tokyo as the room we were in was very spacious. It was clean also but did not offer complimentary water. Room also had a foot massager which I enjoyed. There was a Refa shower head and hair dryer. However just some “interesting” elements to this hotel. There are irons you can use - just call the front desk to use, but the catch is you only have 1 hour to use it. Must call the front desk to tell them to pick up. Didn’t want to chance going over an hour as I didn’t want to pay for this. Also, there was no door signs for this hotel - I.e do not disturb, please make room etc. House keeping entered and cleaned up the room which is opposed to their information they provided as it stated if you want house keeping to clean your room you needed to call the front desk by a certain time which we did not do. The house keeping was not detailed they put the extra pillows I used for MY bed on my sister’s bed. Also the bed runners which we took off and set to the side they put back on the bed and they put the extra pillows on it - which is simply gross as those runners are not clean. Bathrooms were spacious and clean also. But the marks on the sofa were very noticeable and kinda gross. Basic amenities were provided but could have been better. Overall would recommend."

"I stayed here exactly a year ago and loved how clean the room was and how convenient it was to have a separate toilet and washbasin, so I booked the same room type this time. The breakfast was also delicious. I'd love to stay here again next time! However, the shuttle bus from Maihama Station was full twice, so I had to take a taxi. It would be great if there were at least three buses an hour during peak times when many people are returning from Disneyland."

"The room was spacious enough to fully open a 29-inch and a 20-inch suitcase, which, for Japan, speaks for itself in terms of value. It's very close to Maihama Station, making travel convenient, and it's a hundred times quieter than the Hilton across the street. The first floor of the Hilton was like a noisy flea market by comparison."

"This hotel has a very convenient location. It is only about a 5-minute walk from Urayasu Station (T18). There are many shops and restaurants nearby, such as Lawson, Daiso, Muji, Seiyu supermarket, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, McDonald's, and Gyu-Kaku. It is very easy to buy food and daily necessities around the hotel. On the other side of the station, there is a shopping mall with a popular omurice restaurant called “Yellow.” It is also easy to go to Disneyland and DisneySea. You can take a bus and arrive in about 30 minutes. There is a luggage delivery service (provided by another company) that can send your luggage to airport, which is very convenient. Going to the airport is also simple. You can go to Kasai Station (T17) and transfer to the airport bus. The bus fare is 1,800 yen for adults and 900 yen for children. The room has a washing machine, and you can dry your clothes in the bathroom because there is a ventilation system for drying clothes. Overall, this hotel is very convenient and comfortable, especially for families visiting Disney."

"I was thrilled to find my room included a washer. The refrigerator and hot plate were helpful too. The bathroom was fine with a high sided tub and shower. The shower only worked when handheld, it would not stay in the holder attached to the wall. The bed was very comfortable with soft linens. I slept well during my stay. The hotel has a free Disney shuttle. It stops at multiple properties and was packed the morning I took it to Disney Sea. I opted to take a local bus back to the hotel. The local bus service is great. Every driver was helpful and confirmed my directions before I paid for my ride. The 7-Eleven near by is an easy walk and has loads of delicious food options. Overall I was happy with my stay."
