"When first checking in hotel room there were already guest stay inside. Shocking us and we go down to the reception, the person say is by mistake because that room was not registered in their computer. They changed another room from us then that's okay. The hot spring just a warm water.. Seeing algae and people just simply wear home shirt and soak between cold and water. Overall not bad.."

"Complimentary snacks and coffee are available for guests to help themselves. Overall, the location is convenient, with a Japanese restaurant and a Western restaurant right next door. There are also many dining options within a 5-minute drive, and it's close to a large shopping mall."

"Cleanliness is not too bad for price paid. Location wise is near Aeon Tebrau City, Toppen and Ikea. Hotel toilet door is faulty, cannot close tight... Hoping to have more storage areas for toiletries. The sink don't have space to even place rinsing mouth cup. Also the embedded hair dryer when turn on emits bit of smoke, I forgotten to inform reception when check out."

"The homestay location is very good for people who want to visit Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, as it's just downstairs. The unit includes a washing machine and dining table, and the room itself is quite nice. However, there are birds nearby that make a lot of noise in the morning, which can disturb sleep."

"The hotel is located in a quieter area of Taman Mount Austin, but it is still within walkable distance to places like Nanyang Street and other locations. The hotel is newly renovated, and their basic amenities are sufficient. For the price of S$40/night in 2025, this hotel is considered to be at the lower range, but it offers a very good standard of cleanliness, careful details, and the general comfort is assured! "I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Honestly, this is one of the worst hotels I have ever experienced in my life. First of all, the bed is unbelievably hard — it feels more like sleeping on a wooden board than a mattress. On top of that, the air conditioning is extremely noisy, making it almost impossible to fall asleep or stay asleep throughout the night. What made it even worse is the pillows. They are excessively hard and uncomfortably high, causing serious neck discomfort. I genuinely do not understand how any guest is expected to get a proper rest under these conditions. I even called the front desk to request a different pillow, but was told that all pillows are the same and cannot be changed. This kind of response is completely unacceptable for any hotel that claims to provide comfort and service. Overall, this stay was a terrible experience. I will definitely not return, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values a good night’s sleep. ------------------------------- Saya sangat kecewa dengan pengalaman menginap di hotel ini. Selain itu, penghawa dingin sangat bising sehingga hampir mustahil untuk tidur dengan lena sepanjang malam. Yang lebih teruk ialah bantalnya. Bantal sangat keras dan terlalu tinggi, menyebabkan ketidakselesaan pada leher. Saya benar-benar tidak faham bagaimana tetamu boleh mendapatkan rehat yang baik dalam keadaan seperti ini. "Nothing obvious stood out for the room's cleanliness, so it works for a room at this budget. Hotel is reasonably priced with a bigger sized room, which helps the comfort levels when staying in it. The toilet being bigger helps since there is more separation between the wet and the dry areas. I thought that choosing a slightly out of the way location would relief traffic headaches but that was apparently not the case, guess the traffic around the Mount Austin area cannot be beaten so easily. The hotel seems t only has the option of self check in and out via a machine just outside of the premises, but it can be a privacy concern when checking in at night, because the screen is so big and bright, and is flashing details for the world to see. The screen should really be smaller or have varying brightness according to the surroundings. Or somehow flipped 90 degress so it does not face the street. (Photo taken from the hotel's Google map)"

"Dear Trip, The house is very good, and we had a pleasant stay. In terms of communication, the team responded quickly, which we appreciate. However, we hope there can be better awareness of the surrounding situation. During our journey before arrival, several roads were closed due to a mall event. When we asked for alternative routes, we were informed that there was no information about the road closure, even though we had shared photos showing police and guards blocking the roads. This situation caused us some panic, as we were stuck in heavy traffic with no clear direction. It would be helpful if the team could provide reassurance and practical guidance in such situations—for example, advising us that we could approach the guards to open the cones as we were guests checking in. Guidance like this would have helped reduce our stress. Thank you."

"Stayed at 1 Million Hotel. Clean, modern, and good value for money. Rooms are small but comfortable, and the location is convenient with plenty of food nearby. Soundproofing could be better and parking is limited, but overall a solid budget stay."
