Svolvaer Hotels with Wifi

"Great location, just a few minutes' walk to the supermarket, pier, and bus terminal. The breakfast wasn't super extensive, but it was still good – Nordic food is generally quite simple. We stayed for two non-consecutive nights and were able to leave some of our luggage at the hotel in between, which was great for traveling light to our next destination. The staff were also very friendly."

"This hotel is much larger than the one I stayed at in Oslo. When I arrived in the evening, there was a long line for check-in, but it moved quickly. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The view from the hotel window, as shown in the picture, was also fantastic."

"I took bus 300 from EVE airport to the hotel. I got off at the 'Circle K station' and walked across the parking lot to the hotel, which was very close. However, when I left, the navigation said it would take 7-8 minutes to walk to the next bus stop. I found this a bit confusing. I saw other reviews mentioning that the hotel would send an email with a check-in code before arrival, but I never received one! I had to proactively contact Ctrip while on the bus to the hotel, and only then did I receive the check-in email from the hotel just before arriving. The hotel elevator is quite unique and hard to spot unless you look carefully. It's right next to the sofa in the public area, but there's no clear sign! Many people searched for a long time, and the elevator requires manual operation. The room size is a bit small, with a private bathroom. For Svolvær, where prices are high, this price point offers great value for money! Crucially, breakfast is included. While the variety isn't huge, the quality is good, which I really liked. Each floor has a communal kitchen, but unfortunately, the induction hob in the kitchen next to our room wasn't working. Finding the communal laundry room was quite a hassle. There was no one at the front desk at the time, and I couldn't find any other staff members, so I had to ask Ctrip customer service for help. The customer service even misled us to another building, where the laundry room lacked detergent and had very few washing machines. Later, after asking other guests, I found out there's a large laundry room near the hotel entrance, complete with laundry powder. The hotel didn't clearly explain the location of the laundry room, which was a poor experience."

"I stayed at Svinøya Rorbuer recently, and honestly, it was such a beautiful experience. Our cabin had the perfect view for catching the northern lights — we literally just looked out of the window and there they were, dancing above us. Pure magic. The cabin itself was spotless and felt really cosy. One of the heaters wasn’t working at first, but the team came over and sorted it immediately, which I really appreciated. Fast, friendly service makes all the difference, especially in the cold! Overall, a lovely stay. I’d happily go back in a heartbeat."

"The location of the hotel is superb. Just next to the cruise terminal which is very convenient for us. While we are waiting for cruise departure we can just wait inside with complimentary drinks. Lastly, the food is such a premium to us."

"Check in was smooth but the access code was sent very close to check in time, creating some anxiety. The room was clean. The only one with a balcony was very nice. Amenities were scant, only 2 bath towers and no other tower. The small fridge is useful, as is the tea kettle. The furniture arrangement was sensible  making good use of the small space. Overall good experience."

"I booked the room through Ctrip. Since I saw some reviews mentioning not receiving the password beforehand, I contacted the hotel via Ctrip's online phone service and asked them to send me the password via email. I received the password promptly and checked in easily. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment. The living room was quite spacious, and there was a balcony with sea and mountain views. The room had basic kitchenware and tableware, so we could buy groceries nearby and cook at home. The location was in the city center, very convenient for shopping and transportation. There was a Nordis restaurant downstairs, and a Chinese restaurant a short walk away. On the day of departure, I called the manager, and they gave us an extra hour for check-out. Their Wi-Fi password was posted behind the main door."
