"The room is large and quiet but the boxes are old and dirty gardens with locked parts. The balcony is large but dirty and needs a update in the painting. The bathroom is good but with strong smell from the rack. The room is large and it would be good to have a supplement waste because it only has in the bathroom and in the kitchen. The mini kitchen has a good fridge but the boxes and pia are very old, with a strong smell. I missed detergent and bubble in the kitchen. The room level would justify having a Nespresso, it would be very good. The good point are towels of excellent quality in both the room and the pool. The area of the pool is beautiful, well-cared garden and top chairs to sleep. The bar is interesting, but I didn't use it because I found the prices a little cheap.
We have dinner one day at the hotel, I don't recommend it, it's buffet service and the food wasn't good, it was expensive."

"Isolated, quiet place, good for summer. I think there might be access problems to the hotel if there are many visitors, as it's an extremely narrow road and only one car can pass at a time.
The spa pool is very small and we have to walk there, which in winter and during rainy and cold weather, which was my case, we ended up not going, and the hotel reservation was made for that reason, so we were sad.
The room didn't have the air conditioning working on the first night, as the technician tried to fix it, it got a little hotter, but nothing special to have normal thermal comfort. I only recommend this hotel for the summer."

"Our family room window is much higher than normal level, we can’t see the outside view , when we open the shade, there is a staff walkway just a floor above ours. So we even can’t open the shade to enjoy daylight due to privacy. I believe other rooms won’t have this issue, but still not good for us. ❌

"Welcome to the hotel.
Only a small bemol, on Trip we had reversed a 50m square apartment, but once arrived at the hotel we found ourselves in a simple room.
Let's say that having a private pool for the simple rooms compensated for this disappointment.
If not, the hotel is beautiful and the environment is beautiful."

"The room is relatively new and clean. There are washing machines, dishwashers, and kitchens inside, so you can cook your own food, which is very cost-effective. It's just a bit far from the beach, you can't do it without a car, and it's not convenient to buy things around"

"A beautiful hotel surrounded by magnificent gardens. We'd barely arrived when something unimaginable happened: a blackout on the Iberian Peninsula. The hotel managers responded in an exemplary manner: they provided information, provided everyone with a water bottle, and served cold meals and free grilled dishes in the restaurant in the evenings. The emergency generator also ran for a few hours. So, despite the uncertainty, we felt well looked after. Enjoying the sun by the beautiful pool area is also nothing to be sniffed at. The breakfast buffet was varied, including a good selection for vegans and vegetarians. We really enjoyed, among other things, the delicious, sweet fruit."

"The hotel is located in a small town, which fits the feeling of a village (not a derogatory word). You must drive here (there is no public transportation).
The hotel is very quiet and feels very safe. The room is very large and fully equipped with a washing machine, a full set of kitchenware, a refrigerator, a sofa, a dining table, and a large balcony with a dining table where you can sit outdoors and watch the sunset and drink and eat, which is very comfortable.
The hotel service staff is warm and polite. We arrived at about 12:30 noon. According to the previous hotel feedback, its policy is to check in at 4 pm, but the uncle at the front desk called and asked, saying that the room has been cleaned up and can be checked in for us. It is really good, otherwise we can only put down our luggage and go out.
The hotel is not far from several attractions. It takes about ten minutes to drive there. The hotel is also about 10 minutes to drive to several large supermarkets in the town. Staying here is really the best choice for vacation. The key is high cost performance."

MMrs_TravelAbsolutely stunning experience! We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. The hotel facilities are superb, beach and views and breathtaking. If you go on a left from the beach there is a wonderful easy hike with spectacular views, approximately 30 mins one way. Lots of even more stunning nature within 15-20 mins drive from the hotel. We will definitely be back! ＜3

WWai LiongQuite a nice resort on its own. But not within walking distance to anything. I was there for 3 nights, I dun think the resort was fully booked, but I was given the room furthest from the lobby. was not such a big deal as I drive. But feel a slight anti-asian sentiment.

KKhaw Yong QiI had an amazing stay at Vale d’El Rei Hotel & Villas. The property is absolutely beautiful—nestled in a peaceful and scenic location that feels like a true escape. The gardens are lush and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere is tranquil and inviting.
My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with a lovely view and all the amenities I needed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. I also really enjoyed the breakfast—great variety and fresh options each morning.
The pool area was a highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the Algarve. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a relaxing break, Vale d’El Rei is a fantastic choice.

VV GorVila Vita Parc is a truly lovely hotel and unlike anywhere I have stayed before. The service is excellent, and the twice-daily room service is very much appreciated.
There is a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, offering different styles of cuisine. Although they are slightly expensive, the quality makes the prices acceptable.
I would definitely stay here again next time.

DDL2Hotel has great facilities and was very clean, though we were disappointed to realise that due to unsafe cliffs, it no longer offered direct access to the beach. Service should really be improved for such an expensive hotel:
1. Reception gave us 2 twin beds even though we specifically made a request at booking for double bed
2. Restaurants got my coffee orders wrong on multiple occasions throughout the stay
3. During the saturday bbq night, the hostess Priscilla made up a poor excuse not to give us a poolside table even though we were one of the earliest guests there. Her excuse was the remaining poolside tables were reserved for 4 families with dogs. We didn't see a single dog during the entire course of 2 hours, and the tables were given away to other couples for reasons unknown. This incident really upset us, and the fact that she had the audacity to make up such an excuse is appalling.
4. Gratuity was charged at 7.5% for every item, which is fine but what left a bad taste in the mouth is the hotel did it without informing customers upfront.

TTithiAbsolutely loved the two bed sea view villa upgrade.. the pool was clean.. the kitchen was well equipped and we cooked our own meals during our stay.. better to get groceries supplies from nearby Lagoa town as the stores next to hotel doesn’t have much options.. Algarve Saco and Carveiro beach is walkable distance and there are few trekking routes next to hotel ..

Disadvantages:
1. The housekeeping staff was rude, we took the initiative to say hello, they responded coldly, and there was hostility in their eyes.
2, the room is relatively small
3. Breakfast is simpler
4. The overall decoration is simple, completely unmatched with the four-star
5. The room arrangement is very biased. After the elevator is out on the floor, it takes 1 and a half minutes to get to the room.
Important point: 3 hours after we checked out, we found that the charger of the laptop was forgotten in the room. We called the hotel immediately. The hotel said that we would reply to us after verification. I waited for 3 days and did not receive a call from the hotel.
Here I want the table field Trip.com customer service, one day I called more than a dozen calls to urge the implementation, and finally waited for the hotel to confirm the reply found.
If it's not because of Trip.com , I don't want to give 4 points.
