Taif Hotels with Wifi

"Room is generally clean and tidy upon check in. Very minor slip-ups that I didn't notice until hours later. Very good amenities provided, like shaving kit, body gel, weighing scales. Housekeeping didn't come during my stay, but that's OK as I appreciate privacy and only staying 2 nights. Breakfast has a decent range of Arabic (foul) and Western choices. Coffee is good. Special thanks to Hamad who recommended a guide to Al Wabah Crater at short notice, and provided a seamless check-in experience. A minor gripe is I had bad luck at ordering room service, no luck with Saudi Champagne and strawberry juice. The room service prices were very reasonable though."

"كانت إقامتي ممتازة بكل المقاييس. المكان كان نظيف جدًا، مرتب، ومريح ،!والأثاث جديد ويعطي شعورًا بالفخامة. طاقم العمل كان محترمًا ومتعاونًا وسريعًا في تلبية أي طلب. تسجيل الدخول والخروج كان سلسًا، والموقع مناسب وقريب من الخدمات. من أفضل الأماكن التي سكنت فيها."

"1- Welcome is not good as they did not have the room ready 2- Also looks like they are not well aware of by booking, 3- Further i ask them for another day booking after a week day and the they said not possible as its fully booked even i can see booking is showing available online.. 4- overall place is good, nice, and clean, but still need improvement"

"The hotel is beautiful, and I don't expect more. Furniture is kind of old, but it's sick. Breakfast is good, but few staff at breakfast. Employees, everybody says, ”I have the decor.” What God wanted from the security guard to the reception, the barbers and the breakfast workers. There are too many situations. The hotel is characterized by its location and the presence of a connected market."

"The room is clean, fully equipped, and newly renovated; you can charge your phone directly without an adapter."

"Taif's few four-star options Velar Inn Hotel is one of the few four-star hotels in Taif, opened in 2017, with 95 rooms, is a modern non-smoking hotel. For those driving from Riyadh to this ”City of Roses”, it is a relatively mature choice on the way. Location and Transportation: Close to the airport, but far from the city The hotel is located on the Airport Road (Airport Road) in Taif, about7.9 kilometers from Taif Regional Airport, about 15 minutes by car, which is more friendly to people who catch a plane. But about 24 kilometers from Julie Shopping Center and about 22 kilometers from Taif City, you need to drive to go shopping in the city center, and the surrounding commercial facilities are not bustling. For self-driving passengers, the hotel provides free self-parking and parking is more convenient. The road conditions in Taif City are generally good, but some roads are relatively narrow. It is recommended to be more careful at night. Facilities and services: indoor pool, sauna, gym are all available As a four-star hotel, Velar's hardware configuration is quite rich at this price point. The hotel has an indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room and fitness center. The hotel has a business center, conference room and 24-hour front desk. It also offers currency exchange, luggage storage, laundry and dry cleaning services. Free Wi-Fi is available in rooms and public areas. However, it should be noted that the hotel does not provide airport transfer. Room experience: stable, no surprises The hotel has a variety of room types including standard double rooms, superior suites and deluxe two-bedroom suites. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, flat-screen TV, minibar, coffee maker, safe and private bathroom with shower. In a city with few choices in Saudi Taif, Velar's rooms are quite satisfactory, clean and tidy, but the overall level is comparable to the domestic 400 yuan or so of Atour, and there will be no surprises beyond expectations. Dining: Western-style, not very friendly to Chinese taste The hotel's restaurant offers buffet, a la carte and continental breakfast options, and international dishes and fruit desserts are available for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is usually served from 06:30 to 10:30, at an extra charge. According to online news, the breakfast buffet for adults is about 65 Saudi riyals (about 120 yuan), and half price for children. However, combined with your actual experience, even if you pay to eat, the breakfast taste is more general, the overall bias towards Western and local. If it is a Chinese stomach, it may not be used to eating. Surrounding environment: There is a market opposite, there are many chocolate shops next to it You mentioned ”opposite is a matching market” - although the name of this market is not explicitly mentioned online, but Taif's Atallah Supermarket and other supermarket chains have a good reputation in the local area, famous for fresh fruits and vegetables and local specialties, you can go shopping, by the way to buy some dates and local snacks as a handwritten letter. In terms of chocolate shops, large supermarkets such as Al Wafa Hypermarket often have chocolate promotions, covering local and Middle Eastern chocolate brands in Saudi Arabia. Price and cost performance: the price is high, the victory is not selected Tax included is about 800 yuan. As a comparison, the last date of ******* is about HK$ 750-850 (about 700-800 RMB), Trivago reference price is about 104 pounds (about 950 RMB), and the overall price fluctuates on different platforms. Compared with domestic hotels of the same level, the price is indeed high, but in the destination of hotels such as Taif, the price of such four-star hotels is generally not cheap, Velar is a relatively stable choice within this budget. It is recommended that multi-platform price comparison (Booking/Agoda/ Trip.com , etc.), the price difference between different dates may be more obvious. Real guest evaluation: a lot of praise, but also controversial From multiple platforms, Velar's overall rating is between 8.5 and 9.5, and it is one of the hotels with the highest rating in Taif. Positive reviews focus on friendly service staff, clean and tidy hotel, complete facilities, and convenient transportation (close to the airport and main road). There are also bad reviews, mainly booking disputes (some guests were rejected due to the wrong date and were forced to pay repeatedly), and cost-effective disputes (the price is too high). General comments and recommendations Velar Inn Hotel is a clear choice for advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that the facilities are complete (pool/sauna/gym), clean, online service, close to the airport and parking is free; The disadvantage is that it is far from the city, the price is high, the catering does not meet the taste of the Chinese, and the surrounding commercial facilities are few. In a word: If you want to find a clean chain of four-star hotels in Taif to rest, Velar is a choice that can't go wrong, don't expect too much about its price/performance ratio and breakfast. In addition, it is recommended to compare prices on multiple platforms when booking, confirm the date policy in advance, and avoid unnecessary disputes."

"Nice place covered by restaurants The Bed disturbed our sleeping system haha Otherwise ok MashaAllah Can get breakfast by nearby coffee shop by only 6-10 Riyals Alhmdulillah All foods brands are available"

"La Reve Hotel Taif is a comfortable and modern place to stay in Taif. The hotel is known for its clean rooms, elegant design, and well-equipped facilities, making it suitable for both short stays and family trips. The staff are friendly and responsive, and the location is fairly convenient for accessing the city center and nearby attractions. A great choice for travelers looking for a peaceful stay with good comfort, without going for a luxury hotel."

"Overall good hotel - they need to include 2 sets of bathroom provisions."

"If you come to Taif, do not pass by this hotel. If you are a guest of good taste, enter on time and leave at the specified time. They take a refundable deposit of 500 from you at the same time when you leave. If everything is fine, I was late to leave and did not take anything from the room.... I will repeat the experience."
