An authentic log cabin home and is our little hidden gem. It is located in the Canyons at beautiful Lake Whitney. It has 2 bedrooms (one down, 2nd is a loft upstairs) and 1.5 bath. Fully equipped kitchen, full size washer & dryer. located at the end of a no outlet street surrounded by trees, backing up to a ravine. If you like to hike or just explore, there are trails behind the cabin. There is a neighborhood cove located just a short drive from the cabin, it is great for swimming, fishing or kayaking. It features a full wrap around porch that you can enhance your evenings by turning on the rope lights at night. The porch features a dining table on the back, swing that overlooks the yard with the fire pit (being your own fire wood). There is a small bistro table, 4 rocking chairs at the front and a spool table for you to sit and enjoy nature. No matter where you are at on the porch, there is plenty of seating. We have a deer feeder that goes off early morning and early evening, so be sure to be on the look out for our neighborhood friends! There is a picnic table with a smoker/grill located under the carport for you to cook and dine outside (be sure to bring charcoal/lighter) *the gas grill located on the porch is NOT available for use*. You will have access to all interior and exterior spaces, except for the locked closet in the master bedroom, the small storage shed on the back porch and the garage. Those spaces are for housekeeping & maintance personell. We added a 50 ft tower with a tv intenna *no climbing allowed*. We do have internet and All of the Tvs have Roku and there are 54 movies in the dvd holder for you to watch as well. This tiny home is meant for you to take a breather and reconnect. The spaceThe Fox Kit Cabin is a 1br/1ba tiny home in approximately 400 sq/ft. A quiet solitude for a solo traveler or a cozy nest for a couple the cabin is very much like an extended stay hotel room in a free standing house. There is a covered porch at the entry where you can wake to fresh air and coffee. Inside the living area, dining area, and kitchenette are all one super functional space where you can relax in one of the comfy chairs and watch tv or nibble breakfast at the vintage cafe table. You won't be cooking three-course meals but the kitchenette has a small fridge/freezer, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and kitchen ware.Down the shotgun hallway is the bedroom with a luxurious hybrid queen bed and plenty of space to store your clothes for the weekend or a week.The best part is the bathroom! We built a walk-in tiled shower that we're jealous of! Pop the hotel quality towels in the dryer to toast them up...this tiny home has a full sized washer and dryer. Perfect for those summer swim adventure trips at the lake!We've built and outfitted this cabin with friends and family in mind so we hope you feel that way. We use high quality linens and everything is washed after each guest. They are super quiet and even though there are two, one is sufficient for the entire cabin. Mini-splits are very efficient keeping a steady temp so please set them where you would like. We have two smart plugs to turn on lights if you are arriving after dark. You're welcome to unplug these during your stay if you like.We do not allow EV charging or crypto mining.Other things to noteWe want this to be a place you make memories at and we take pride in our cleaning!
