DESCRIPTION:Lakeview CottageWe have been in the nightly rental business for 20 years and we know how to equip our places to make our guests feel at home. We have completely remodeled this home. It is 1400 sq feet with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen completely furnished with everything you will need but food, and a dinning table that will comfortably seat six people. Each bedroom has a king bed for your comfort. We have 3 Smart flat screen TVs with wifi, Toys for the kids, games for the adults, and a pac n play for the baby. We have a washer/dryer with detergent furnished and all linens are provided. You can enjoy the view of the lake from inside the house or outside on the deck. We have a huge fire pit that is shared with another cabin that we also own. We have patio table and chairs, Oklahoma Joe's smoker grill, and a firepit.How do we describe the Lakeview Cottage? Secluded, Peaceful, Serene, Scenic, Quiet, Beautiful, Amazing view, and more. The house is on the side of a mountain, with a large deck overlooking Fort Gibson Lake. When you stay here you will likely see Bald Eagles, White Tail Deer, and a variety of other wildlife. It is about one hundred yards to the lake, but you need good knees and a strong heart to make the hike to the Lake. You can hike to the lake and fish, and you will have a whole mountain you can explore. Wahoo Bay and Sequoya are only two miles away where you can put you boat or jet skis in the water. There is adequate room for 2 vehicles. If you have a boat or jet ski trailer over 14' you may not be able to park it at the house. You will not be able to make the corner with a trailer! There are several marinas in the area where you can rent Pontoons or jet skis. We are located about 15 minutes from Wagoner and 15 minutes from Muskogee where you will find Wal Mart and many national franchise restaurants at either town.This is the perfect place to spend a few days fishing, boating, exploring, or just enjoying the solitude and peacefulness of this beautiful home. Note: It is dificult to get a boat trailer into this location. Jet skiis would be ok.This is an absolutely gorgeous cabin with an incredible view of Fort Gibson Lake. It has a huge wrap around deck that encircles the cabin. This is the definition of quiet and secluded. You will likely see Bald Eagles, ducks, geese, deer, and much more. You will be amazed at the solitude of this location. We have been in the nightly rental business for 20 years and we know how to make our guests feel at home.All linens are furnished and you will have access to the washer and dryer with detergent furnished. The kitchen is completed stocked with everything you will need except food. We have games for the kids and a pac n play for the baby. We have 2 porch swings, patio tables, Corn Hole, and DVDs. We have high speed internet throughout the cabin but we do not have cable tv.This is a 3 level A-Frame Log Cabin. You will enter on the main level with no steps to the deck that totally surrounds the house. The main level has a large living area, furnished kitchen, dining area with a large table, 2 bedrooms and a full bath. If steps are a problem you would not need to leave this level to enjoy your stay. The East end of the house is glass from top to bottom giving it an unbelievable view of the lake from all 3 levels. The outside of the main level is completely encircled by a spacious deck where you can gather for meals or watch the sunrise over the Lake.The lower area is all open and is an 800 sq. ft. game room and gathering room. We have a Foosball table, game table, Ping Pong Table, 55" flat screen smart TV, DVD, and several board games. You will have access to the washer and dryer on this level and there is also a full bath. You can exit this area at ground level facing the Lake. The upper level has a large living area with 2 very comfortable sleeper sofas, 55" flat screen smart TV, full bath with tub, and a 3rd bedroom. This log cabin has 3 king beds, and 3 very comfortable queen sleeper sofas.We advertise this cabin for a maximum of 8 guests and we mean a maximum of 8 guests. Please do not exceed this number or you will be asked to leave. We could allow more than 8 but we do not want more than 8 in our home. The Lake is about 100 yards below the cabin. Depending on the level of the lake there may or may not be access to the rocky beach area. It is about a 25-degree angle to the lake, and we do not recommend making the trip to the water if you are not in good physical condition. The land between our house and the lake is Corp of Engineer land and you can walk across it to the lake.It is 15 minutes from Wagoner or Muskogee where you will find Wal Mart, great Restaurants, and several national fast food chains.We have another beautiful house right next to this cabin. This home is located down a dead end driveway. It is separated from most neighbors with a privacy fence. Approximately four blocks from Ft. Gibson lake. It has many handicap accessible features including Parking, ramp, and bathroom with walk-in shower. Guests will have access to a lighted car port that can fit 2 vehicles/boats with access to electrical outlets if needed. Plenty of boat parking. There are cameras around the outside of the property to help protect your boats and vehicles. Maintenance man lives in a travel trailer behind carport, separated from property with a privacy fence.
