Bedrock Hotel Ipoh Reviews

A cozy & tastefully decorated boutique hotel. It has only 10 rooms in total so giving much privacy at the lobby & breakfast area. Bathroom was sparkling cleaned, bedding was good, just that when we were searching for the tv remote control which we dropped, we accidentally saw the carpet below the bed has thick dust & really needed vacuuming. In general this is a good hotel and will recommend to friends.

I liked best was the water filter system, avoiding from drinking bottled mineral water. The other thing was the artistic layouts and the special rocks around the hotel, it really adds colour to it. Besides the friendly staffs, the lady boss of the hotel is also very friendly and she will advice you where and what to eat, feels like coming back home. For the price of two king size beds in a room and all the services we receievd, it is worth paying for.I will return again if i come to Ipoh again.

Extremely satisfied with Bedrock Hotel - super friendly and helpful crew , strategic location , very nicely decorated room with the rock theme , more importantly , the room is very clean and well maintained . Serves simple but delicious breakfast. I opted for the nasi lemak. The souvenir shops and those eateries are just minutes away , walking distance . Highly recommended and would love to stay there again !

A great little hotel with lots of thoughtful touches like the Nespresso coffee machine. Debbie was super helpful with advice on where to eat and the local attractions

This little hotel is unique and the host is cheerful and helpful. The room is beautiful and big. WiFi not very good but the host pass to us a router then the signal is better. Breakfast is simple but nice. The place is cozy and comfortable. The only set back is can hear people talking downstairs until quite late. Other than that, every is perfect.

First time to Ipoh so we asked for food recommendation venues and directions, the conceige young man was willingly to share. He did a simple introduction to our rooms. The packet drinks inside fridge were free. Hot western breakfast was prepared freshly from kitchen. Overall our one night experience was good and would definitely come and stay again when I visit Ipoh.

Bedrock Hotel a Boutique Hotel which is within walking distance to many popular F&B outlets and the historic Ipoh Old Town. In fact, I would say that it is a mini Art Museum. There were many paintings and antiques. The room we stayed is large and the service is fantastic with owners Chong and Debbie always so friendly and helpful. Their staff were honest and friendly too. Breakfast may be simple but definitely worth a try. Breakfast will only be prepared upon ordering but worth the wait. Will stay here again when I come to Ipoh for holiday.

Good stay. Location was great - walking distance to all the famous eating places. Possible to walk to old town (about 15mins). World Cup channel available too. Early check in was possible, which was very much appreciated. No complaints and would definitely recommend it and stay again. Water dispensing machine, nespresso machine, slippers … all the amenities you might need is available

My first time here.. strategic location, Room is clean and cozy, great interior of the hotel, staff are friendly.. Everything about this hotel is just great..

The hotel looks like a domestic guest house at first glance. After entering, the decoration is quite elaborate and has the feel of a boutique family hotel. There are male and female receptionists at the front desk. The female receptionist looks like a boss. She can speak Chinese and is very enthusiastic. She will take the initiative to ask you about your itinerary and give you advice. Help, the hotel room has a domestic two-star feel, with a water dispenser, and a very simple breakfast. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to scenic spots such as Mistress Lane. When the driver took me to the hotel and was about to arrive, he reminded me that the location of the hotel is crowded at night. After shopping around 10 o'clock, I came back and saw some scantily clad Southeast Asian women in a dark corner of the street. When I returned to the hotel lobby in the evening, the landlady specially found out the itinerary I needed for the next day and printed it out for me. The service was very good and it was suitable for watching male guests. A couple of friends stayed.
