Ishigaki Guesthouse Hive

It’s cheap but not good. The capsule is small and stuffy. The public living room cannot be used from 23 to 7 o’clock. You have to lay your own sheets in the narrow capsule. You can try the sleeping goose picture if it is cheap.

Thank you for your help in diving this time. I had a comfortable stay at the guest house. Everyone was kind and helpful with the information. Even coming and going late at night was quiet due to everyone's manners, and I didn't have any trouble.

It's close to the remote island terminal, so it's very convenient. It has the feel of a backpacker's lodge from the old days. The staff are very kind and the place is clean. It's perfect for those who want to interact with people while traveling. I like the atmosphere on the rooftop. Strategic location close to the Ishigaki Port. Backpackers would love this place. The rooms are clean and staff members are pretty friendly. If you like interacting with people, this is the best place. I love the rooftop when it's sunny.

A highly recommended place for those who want to stay at an affordable price without many pretensions and sharing certain comforts. It has a capsule style with independent cubicles where, although you cannot stand up, you have a thin mattress with a sheet, pillow and futon, a fan, a sofa that turns into a table, a mirror, an electrical outlet and a blind which closes access to the cubicle. The bathroom is shared, both toilet, shower and sink, although they are usually quite clean. The kitchen is also shared.

It was clean, private and really great! I'll go again! Shingo was the best. I rented a moped, it was right in front of the inn and it was easy to move around in. The room was high enough that you could stand up if you bent over, so it wasn't a big inconvenience. I recommend it because you can get along with the other guests. They also tell you about tourist spots and recommendations. Ishigaki Island has a lot to see, including lighthouses, cafes and beaches. It was a great trip! Thank you!

It was very good! The owner was very friendly and the rooms were stylish and great (*｀ω´)b They provide shampoo and conditioner, face wash and body soap! They also have a washing machine and dryer 🧺🔆 and a refrigerator 🧃 so you can cook your own meals 🍳🍳 There are many shops around and they are within walking distance, so it's very convenient ദ്ദി ˃ ᵕ ˂ ) Welcome back and see you (*´︶`*)ﾉ It felt like home lol I'd like to stay with you again when I go to Ishigaki 🙇‍♀️

It was my first trip to Ishigaki and I was a little nervous, but the staff and guests were friendly and polite, and it was a comfortable stay! Thank you very much. The design of the inn was interesting and I enjoyed it too. The area around the inn is in the downtown area, so I was able to go anywhere I wanted to go quickly, and it's conveniently close to the port and bus terminal. The inn was built with a good balance of Ishigaki's good old things and new wisdom. It might be helpful if there were a few shower rooms. There are lockers so you don't have to worry if you have large luggage. It's not too noisy, but not too quiet either, so I think you can spend your time however you want!

The staff was very nice and helped me carry my heavy luggage up to the third floor. The room was very clean and the wooden interior was very nice. I also became friends with the other guests I met at Hive and went out to eat with them, so it was a great stay! It was my first time at a guesthouse, but I felt very safe there, and if I come to Ishigaki again, I'd like to come back to Hive and meet the staff, and I'll definitely use it again!

I stayed here for one night on a solo trip in early August. It's on the third floor of a building in the back, so it's hard to find from the road. [Good points] - There's a space to put your suitcase inside the private room. - There's a separate locker in a place separate from the private room that's big enough to fit a suitcase. - The inside of the building is clean - Mixed. The shared rooms are separate for men and women. - The shared space is only available until 11pm, so it's quiet at night. [Bad points] - There's water under the stairs, so it's pretty dirty. - The third floor has no elevator. It's hard for people with bad knees or backs. - Mixed, and the boundary between men and women in the private rooms is unclear. (People who don't like men probably wouldn't stay in a mixed dormitory in the first place) - The air conditioning is too strong, so it's cold. - There's a kitchen (shared) space in the back, but it's small, so it's not a place to relax. - It's a dormitory, but it feels like you're spending time individually. This was my first time staying in a dormitory. I was confused because I didn't know what to do, but I got the impression that there was less contact with other users than I thought. I can't go there anymore because I have bad knees, but there's a parking lot and the ferry terminal nearby, there are lots of restaurants, and the location isn't bad, so it might be good for people looking for a cheap place to stay individually.
