I am myself a hotel manager but since I am accompanying my sister for a cosmetic treatment, I had no say on on the hotel choice Regardless though the hotel I represent as a manager is neither perfect, here are a few observations I am currently in room 1201 and still got another 8 nights to go, so my views may change and they will be duly revised Starting from the bad… Reception - the most unfriendly and unhelpful department I ve encountered so far. This is the department who should lead by example in these terms yet while every department I ve encounter have been great (housekeeping, food and be beverage, spa) … this department lacks the welcoming factor. Sad as reception often leaves the first and last impression. Breakfast - basic but good quality. Can’t ask for more Spa - I still have to try this but the attendant who showed me around was helpful and patient. Thanks to his approach I will definitely give this place a try Room is big, comfortable and well equipped… cleanliness upon checkin not as great … yellow stained silicon around shower, hairs of previous occupants, dusty accessories. The industry is suffering and while I Am mentioning this, I am ready to close an eye Highlight of hotel - by far - the rooftop restaurant … the lamb shank was to die for and definitely best lamb ever… service is 10 out of 10 and 2 people stand out by far … girl with glasses working on Tuesday 11th evening shift … and the ever so amazing and charming Mohammat… impressed and equally jealous of their customer approach. These are people I would hire in a blink of an eye, Mohammat, especially I look forward to spending the next 9 nights here. Turkey is amazing but the Turks are even greater Room 1201

The location, service, cleanliness, and facilities were all perfect. The price was also cheap, so I would like to visit this hotel again. In particular, I felt that the interior of the room was really clean. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Istanbul Asia.

The staff of the hotel were very helpful and gives support whenever needed. My experience was memorable and the family enjoyed the Emmar hospitality experience The breakfast was delicious in an prestigious environment which Emmar is well known for all of it brand of hospitality Also I tried the airport transfer experience which arranged by the hotel concierge

Not my first time in Istanbul, we have stayed always on the European side. I stayed at Kempinski, Raffels, the Hilton phosphorus and the intercontinental. This Wyndham property on the Asian side is as good as any of those in terms of services available. 2 pooled one on the roof. A nice spa and a great gym. The breakfast was as you would expect in any 5 state Turkish hotel, absolutely fabulous. The property is in walking distance to Baghdad street with all high end shops and restaurants. It’s also in close proximity to the marina with beachfront restaurants. Last but not least are the welcoming staff and the manager who were available and welcoming whenever you enter the from the door. Vacation well enjoyed.

The hotel is in the old town. All the hotels in this article are small family hotels with no more than 20 rooms. The decoration of the rooms is relatively old and there are balconies on the top floors. However, the service is relatively good, with various lines and hotel pick-up and drop-off. travel items. The hotel is new and clean. When cleaning the room, they did not take out the trash, did not add hygiene items and did not replace towels, they asked to do this, they did it. We travel quite a bit as a family ( 2 children ages 7 and 12 ) but don’t always review. This hotel deserves every accolade we could provide. We had a family connecting room which was great and a perfect amount of space for all. Having two bathrooms was a real plus! Beds were comfortable and the room servicing was impeccable. The people go above and beyond, are incredibly kind and hospitable. The hotel is very well kept, clean, and has such a special charm. It is perfectly located to everything in the Old Town and has a beautiful terrace to sit on and enjoy the view of the Bosphorus. We would sit out at night and watch the sun set with a glass of wine and Fanta for the kids. The breakfast is wonderful and excellent quality. Have it included in your stay if you can. It is worth it. We search for great food and this exceeded our expectation. It is so fresh and changes daily. The staff is attentive and so helpful. The shop directly beside, Tencer Gift Shop is so wonderful. The owner is so kind and generous. We recommend getting something from him over the Grand Bazaar. Overall we had an incredible experience at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you Sirkeci Mansion from the Canadian Family.

I have never written a hotel review before, but I would like to share my experiences with other travelers. I have no complaints about the room and the location. The room was clean, and it met all expectations. Where this hotel excels above all others is with respect to customer service. - We were allowed an early check in with no additional cost. - The manager went out of his way on several occasions to explain how we can navigate tourist-traps and save $$ on our trip. For example, free ferries vs. overpriced tourist boats). - We had some medical issues to deal with on a Sunday when virtually everything was closed. They went out of their way to help us find a physician and a pharmacy that would provide us meds. These are just a few examples. The service level was unparalleled. Give the manager a pay-raise! We loved the place!

a very nice experience, everything was perfect, cleanliness, the people there were very kind and friendly, the location is good, it is not far from the bazaar, there are many shops next to the hotel, there is a grocery store right in front of the hotel. I will definitely come back!

This hotel is hidden on a side street just next to the train station (no noise from the station or street in the rooms) - so easy to walk everywhere that most tourists need including Gran Bazaar, Palace, Cistern, Mosques and Spice Market/Bridge. Tram station is only a block away for further explorations like Taksim Square, Kabatis piers (for day or dinner cruises) or Istanbul Modern Art Museum. Area can be very busy - which is part of the fun, but go one or two blocks away from the main street and find lots of more local shops and restaurants. When you arrive, your taxi will probably let you off near the main street and point you around the corner - but the hotel is easy to find so don't worry. Staff is great. English is limited, but was never a problem. We had two separate rooms since we traveled with family. One was a partial view room which was very comfortable. The other was the Junior Suite with Bosphorus View which was unique. It is really a 'penthouse' - when you open the door to the room, you walk up about 10 steps to enter the room. The suite was great - but what is worth the higher room rate is the spectacular view from every window and the terrace. Suite was provided with bottled water every day and instant coffee/tea. Small refrigerator if you bring your own food items to the room. Maid service deserves special note with friendly and efficient service. Breakfast is included. The selection included cold cuts, cheese, fruits, veggies, breads and eggs. Make sure to try the local 'simit' sesame rolls - like bagels but better, especially toasted! One of the highlights of our trip was having lunch at one of the employee's father's restaurant near the spice market. It was easy and fun to explore and find the restaurant and we had one of the best (and most inexpensive) meals of our trip. With all of this said - note that this is a small, friendly, family-owned hotel - that most people would put in a 3-star category. So don't expect luxury on the cheap, but excellent value, central location and friendly service. We did have a few issues and suggestions - nothing major, but the staff was eager to resolve any issues and improve the issues. Highly recommended - will return next time in Istanbul!
