We booked a trip to Istanbul on August 15, 2024, for hospital treatment for my son. The hospital arranged a room for two nights at Days Inn hotel. We arrived early on Friday morning (6:50 am), and were told that check-in wasn't until 2 pm unless we paid an additional €30 for a half-day. Given how tired we were, we agreed. Unfortunately, the room they initially gave us was terrible. It had no windows, and the shower didn't drain properly, leaving a pool of water in the cubicle. We requested a room change, and they told us to wait until the next day. We were finally moved on Saturday afternoon, around 3 pm, to a room with windows and a functioning shower. We checked out on Sunday at 7:30 am. The receptionist initially said everything was fine but then claimed there was a stain on the bed sheet and charged us an additional $35.
