Hotels near Sabri Taskin Egitim Uygulama Okulu ve Is Egitimi Merkezi, Istanbul

This is my 25th visit to Istanbul and my first stay in this strange hotel. We arrived yesterday and there was no one to receive us; we had to wait for a couple of minutes until someone showed up. The man at the front desk was quite confused about our reservation. We had already paid in advance for our reservation and showed tht vouchers but he was asking for money even though it was sorted out after a while. This morning when we went for breakfast, the variety was very low. Then I asked for Menemen ( a famous Turkish dish usually served for breakfast made of eggs and tomatoes) the girl said that they can do it for extra charge. You never ever hear this from any other hotel in istanbul even 2 star ones. I’ve stayed in many different hotels here but this was absolutely ridiculous. Funnier than that was when I asked for a bottle of water and again I had to pay. Then I asked them to put the menemen and the water on my room bill but they said it’s impossible so I paid right then. Now listen to this: tonight, I called the room service and asked for a plate and a knife. The man on the phone said he’d do it for 100 TL. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 Lastly, The toiletries in the bathroom are expired and have turned to disgusting thin liquid. If you book this hotel, you’ve thrown your money away. However, the only positive thing about the hotel is the nice staff who politely keep saying: sorry but it’s impossible. It’s late at night and I’m too sleepy to go through other detailed stuff. This is a 4 star hotel, not deserving even 1.

The hotel we had two nights was a good design but there was a serious lighting problem. The room is very dark, and the room is very boring because the standard rooms look at the wall, and the lighting is not enough. You would be more happy if you prefer a city or sea view room instead of standard rooms. Breakfast was very good, you wouldn't be hungry, but it is not a perfect breakfast to enjoy. For example, the buckets are delicious but but butter and honey are not renewable. The staff approach is good and the problem is solved. The hotel is very good. The aerial is close to the square.

We really are a great hotel quiet and comfortable, working friends very interested laughterful and sincere for all your quality service. Thank you very much for your good service. If our way to Istanbul is going, we are with you again ❤️

Location, room comfort, hotel condition I chose the Holiday Inn for its location.my late check-in and 3N- stay was a very pleasant experience: comfortable bed and pillows, courteous and helpful staff, clean and generous sized room, plus professional service, efficiency and tranquility for business travel. Recommended!

It was a real plesure staying at this beautifull hitel with extremely helpful staff. The room service was superb and the food was great and reasonably priced. This is one of the best value for money hotels that I've ever stayed at!

At first the room did not match the pictures and the problem was not solved until the second day, but the overall stay was good

The staff here was absolutely AMAZING. From the time I got there til checkout they always had my best interest in mind. Regardless of the language barrier they went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable. Special thanks to Gizem who took care of me every night for dinner and her manager musa. They made me feel at home. Look forward to coming back with my wife.

The room that I booked for my friends, I feel very good about my living experience. I recommend friends to come here to experience. The hotel is fully equipped with two swimming pools, indoors and outdoors, as well as a Turkish bath, etc...

This hotel is good but not the best, Below is a honest review, First opinion… this is a hotel for people who have surgery only. I didn’t see many people who haven’t had surgery everyone we spoke to was booked in for something over wrapped in bandages. If you are looking for a break away I wouldn’t suggest this hotel as it is used for surgery patients and recovery. (Including us) On arrival the staff are friendly, you will be asked to pay a deposit on arrival with a credit card and physical card not Apple Pay. So make sure you bring a card. If you give them a via debit they will refuse it and tell you it takes 15-20 days to refund any money taken. Our room was really good very spacious, we had a studio, very modern and clean, can’t complain about the room because it had everything we needed and was very clean. Fruit provided on arrival along with water tea and coffee daily. I would recommend bringing shampoo and conditioner though as the one they provide is more like a shower gel. Breakfast… is £18 a day and I will be completely honest the breakfast is terrible. It is more like a light lunch than a breakfast. You will find things like noodles, sausage rolls cut up. No cooked breakfast stuff like you find in the UK and other places in Europe. Lots of bread fruit but in terms of an actual breakfast it is really poor. You can’t really make a breakfast meal out of what is there. No fried eggs or pouched eggs, no sausages or meats. No beans sauces ect. The first day it looked like my boyfriend had last nights Chinese is was really bizzare but maybe that’s how they eat here! Who knows. Personally I wouldn’t rate it or pay for it again, some of the stuff are great and friendly, you will notice there are a couple of really miserable people one in particular is a lady who always wears her hair tied back with glasses. She’s very moody never smiles and everything is far too much effort for her. The pool looks really nice and there are maybe 12 sun loungers which they provide blue padding for comfort which is nice, especially when you are recovering after surgery, Lunch and dinner is ok nothing spectacular but it’s ok, the spa is nice and the massage is great. Massage is €55. The pool is not worth using you also have to wear swimming caps which is annoying especially when you don’t bring one. Location is terrible it’s right next to a motorway and there is nothing within the area hence again. Why we think it’s more of a surgery hotel because everyone I walking around in pain and bandages so they are not going anywhere far. Reception staff and always lovely and friendly and there is security day and evening.

The hotel is in the seaside port of Turaz, a few meters away from the sea, convenient transportation is very close to the road traffic, very close to the train station, very convenient to travel, in all directions
