The hotel and the staff was amazing. The concierge people were so helpful and attentive to our needs. The restaurant and breakfast buffet was so so good. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were very clean! I just wished the location was a little closer to the main attractions. We had to take taxi for going anywhere and because of traffic, we lost some precious time to the traffic.

We routinely stay at Marriott properties in Istanbul and tried this one for a change. It is located slightly outside the hustle and bustle but 5 minutes to the subway and ideally located near restaurants and shopping. Our special observation is about all of the staff; they were so friendly and welcoming. We give a shout out to Eren at Breakfast, Putra in housekeeping. The breakfast is until 11am and is the best we have had in Istanbul hotels. The executive lounge is on the top floor and the staff very good. The fare is heavy on desserts but light on other items. This has now become our hotel in Istanbul

I stayed at this hotel two years ago; back then the hotel was quite new but the suites were not ready for guest use so I had a corner room instead. This time was my first stay in a suite at this hotel and I was quite impressed. The suite is at a level far higher than what would normally be expected for the Four Points hotel brand. For example not only there were two full bathrooms, but one of them had a Japanese style toilet with auto-flush and lid which opens / closes by itself. There were controls for electric curtains which is normally a feature mostly found in luxury hotels. Also the floor of the living room was hardwood - real wood, not vinyl / fake wood. The service at this hotel was impressive when I stayed in 2021 and it remains more akin to a full service hotel rather than select service like Four Points, so kudos to the staff. My only concern is about the likelihood of suite upgrades as Marriott Ambassador Elite guest at this property specifically. In general, suite upgrades as top tier of the Marriott loyalty program are plentiful, and in Istanbul even more so than elsewhere in the world. Not being successful on a suite upgrade is more the exception than the rule nowadays based on my experience, but unfortunately at this hotel at first they refused to upgrade me to a suite. They said because they do not have many suites, by hotel policy they simply do not upgrade to suites. I expressed my disappointment and I think it's not competitive but in the end they upgraded me which was nice, however I remain a bit unclear what it means for my potential future stays, will they upgrade or not. I guess their suites are wonderful but it seems there are many other hotels in Istanbul which will not think twice, and they upgrade generously. Here, I am not so sure, especially if I booked there for a longer stay perhaps they would be quite reluctant. So that would be my hesitation in the future if the nature of my stay was such that I would value having a suite then perhaps it would not be an ideal fit. But for a quick one-night during a layover from the airport it would be no problem.

There was an intense bad smell in the room reserved for us. We stayed the first night, thinking that it would go away after airing out, but when it did not, we asked the reception to change our room. There was no problem in the next room.

It was a special stay in this hotel. All the staff thought us very well, always friendly and attentive. Emre kement(receptionist), helped me with the translation with the pharmacist. very cordial. Eren Tone (Bellboy), always smiling and friendly with the group Erhan Koca (waiter), despite his language skills, always knew how to give the best service Mustafa Donmez(Exe.Chef), very attentive to please the customer. breakfast is always fantastic. The hotel is very new, the rooms are luxuriously and tastefully decorated, and every detail is in place. The children's products are especially thoughtful. In addition to a complete set of toiletries, there is also an age-appropriate T-shirt. The toys delivered to the room were also well maintained. The staff in the housekeeping department are polite and considerate. When they hear us leaving the house in the morning, they will come over to greet us. The power cords and clothes in the room will be neatly stored. The breakfast staff was a little lacking, there was a separate menu for hot food, and the wrong one was served twice on one day. But the food quality and presentation are impeccable. Downstairs is Zorla. I really like a hotel like this that is close to a mall and is convenient for dogs.

The location of the hotel is very good, the rooms are clean and the service is good. My only problem is that there is a valet company at the door. I stayed for 1 day and paid 400 TL for valet. I think the hotel should have its own service.

I am a Marriott Titanium member so i have spent a few nights away! Any hotel experience to a large degree is determined by the quality of its staff. Everyone at the hotel were excellent from the first moment of walking into the hotel to the day we left to return home. This started from the security staff on the entrance and Serpil on reception who checked us in. The restaurant staff were all great, Furkan who would greet us daily to breakfast with a smile and Atakan who made us our eggs each morning, I could name many more in the restaurant. Murat in the Exec lounge ensured we were comfortable and well looked after and he was ably supported by Bucra and the rest of the team. The cleaners every day who made up our room always had time to smile and chat despite some of them not being too fluent at English! Hamida and Hatice were great, again I could mention all the others. The facilities of the hotel are what you would expect for a 5* Marriott. The location is good too but if you are wanting to regularly visit the Hagia Sophia area then I would suggest picking the times you travel sensibly to avoid the early and late rush hour. We have visited Istanbul several times and stayed at other hotels. We look forward to returning soon and we will be staying here next time too!

My stay at Ramada Encore Sisli Hotel was unfortunately quite underwhelming. The morning staff at the reception left much to be desired, as they were neither friendly nor helpful, which put a damper on the start of each day. While the room was decent, it did not quite justify the price we paid for it, leaving us feeling a bit disappointed. The breakfast offered was average at best, failing to leave a lasting impression. Additionally, the hotel's location, being away from the city center, proved to be inconvenient for exploring the area. Regrettably, based on my experience, I do not foresee myself revisiting Ramadan Hotel in the future.
