The best and most comfortable hotel chain in the US trip is sleep inn. The bed and quilt are quite comfortable, the breakfast is really rich, the quality of the passengers is high, clean and hygienic, here is a bit biased to find a little.

First off the property is rather run down and I was suspicious when they required a separate $100 deposit for the room. When we entered our room it smelled of septic but it was last room available. Went out for breakfast next morn. and upon return the bathroom floor drain and toilet had flooded up septic water. We had one more day stay and we asked to be moved to another room. This was 11:30 in the morning and they did not have a room cleaned so we did not have a bathroom and they have no public bathrooms on their property and we were left to wait for them to get a room clean. The front desk told me that he didn't want to say anything to the cleaning people to hurry because they would get upset. After an hour we had them refund our money and went to a different hotel. Later that afternoon I discovered I had left a very expensive high output USB phone charger in the room. Amari at the front desk told me that she cannot leave the front desk and there was no one else on the property that could go open the room and get my charger. She told me I'd have to return the next day after 9:00 in the morning when the manager was there. My flight was leaving at 7:00 in the morning so I was out my $40 replacement cost.

My husband and I decided to take a couple of days to relax since he had just gotten out of the hospital so I booked us a room at this hotel. Bad idea! The room had mold all in it. It was on the ceiling and on the couch in the room. The shower walls and behind every table in the room as well. Which wasn't a welcoming sight since my husband was in the hospital with respiratory issues. That next morning when we went for breakfast the sausage was under cooked and cold as were the eggs. Then we were really disappointed to see waffle stuff but got told that there would be no waffles that day. Disappointed enough that we didn't even go to breakfast the next morning. Also the pool was closed. We were told that was because they had to get someone from the state to come inspect it. Needless to say the whole stay was very disappointing. I would not recommend anyone staying at this location until they get it cleaned up more

This is an accurate review of this property as of this date. This was a Candlewood Suites and now is a Sonesta Suites. The outside of the buildings has been redone including roof and is in very good shape. The grounds look very good and the staff is attentive. I checked them out. The room I had was remodeled and in fine shape. I assume all or almost all rooms have been redone for Sonesta. Hallways look good and the vibe was quiet and well managed. I hope its the same in 5 years. I stayed at the Candlewood here 10 times over 15 years and it varied from good to terrible. So its good to see it spruced up. I don't know why IHG sold the property but who cares. The local area is quiet and has extensive sidewalks that are very nice for walks long or short. This area is more of an upscale area for Jax.

We stop at this location on trips to Florida, this has always been a reasonably price, comfortable hotel. Always clean and a very friendly staff. On this last trip back home, we had a connecting room with unknown travelers that decided to smoke in the room sending the smell to our room shortly after we checked in, this is a nonsmoking hotel. The front desk attendant named Jo immediately moved us to another room. Jo was very apologetic and took care of the situation without any hesitation. Thank you. Frank

The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Jacksonville I-95 is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Jacksonville.The hotel is located approximately 23km from Jacksonville Amtrak Station and 38km from Jacksonville International Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Lineage Church, The Park @ Deerwood Center and Luna Aesthetics all nearby.This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.

Good spot for the price. Staff was nice. The only thing I can say against it is if you are on foot it is a good walk to the store. About a half mile if your willing to cross the interstate.

This is the place where you will feel the warmth of staying with family! Ms. Donna H. is the heart and the jewel of Baymont and Mr. Shaun is the warm polish that brings the smooth shining warmth too. The rooms are very clean and comfortable! The cleaning staff are so very friendly and helpful. This is the place for all of my future stays! I’m sharing my experience with all of my friends and family members. I highly recommend you treat yourself to a stay here. You will see after staying here yourself you will not be able to settle for less than an experience of warmth and comfort that you will be rewarded with staying here!❤️️

All employees were kind and professional and absolutely make this hotel a place to come back to. Every front desk person we encountered was kind and helpful answering any questions we had. Our family fell in love with “mama” at breakfast. She made everyone feel special and important. She was a highlight of our trip. The gentleman cleaning the floors and elevators was kind and observant and noticed when my mom came in with me at one point and then when my younger brother and family got in he had remembered he had seen her with her daughter earlier. Again, just friendly and attentive. Kudos to Hampton Inn & Suites for your outstanding staff! The hotel is clean, but you can tell it’s a little bit older. There were signs of wear and tear in the room such as the vanity in the bathroom was chipped and there appears to be a water pressure issue because we had multiple rooms and all had the same issue (which was not a problem that we needed to have addressed during our stay because the water still worked). The toilets are horribly low it’s like sitting on the floor. Probably the worst aspect of staying here. Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues like myself. In fact we would tell each other, I have to go sit on the floor to indicate we would be in the restroom. I did research accessible rooms, but they stated they had “lowered toilets” oh my goodness! Lower? The toilets in this hotel are not ADA height. As with all hotels, the rooms are not soundproof and you can hear a lot of noises from attached rooms, the hall and from outside. Despite a few small complaints, we would stay here again when in the area.
