Dev Mahal - A Boutique Heritage Hotel

The best hotel we've stayed at in India. Wonderful decor, spotless, amazing staff. Comfortable beds, good quality linens, towels, toilet paper. All the staff are very nice and courteous. They helped us with our train arrangements and loaned us umbrellas. Special thanks to Saurabh. The restaurant has amazing food at good prices. Close to busy streets but located on a quite one. I would definitely recommend it! ❤️

Good price for comfortable and charming room, soft sheets, clean toilets, newly built and has that Jaipur charm without being kitschy. Their fans are very good but there's also airconditioning. They have a working relationship with a set of drivers that are friendly but not overbearing (Asif) that will ferry you to Amber Fort, a Stepwell, a good cheap restaurant (250-350Rps) and see the City Palace and Hawa Mawal. Paid 2000 Rps for the reliability of having a personal driver for about 9.30AM to 3PM which is useful if you have multiple stops and don't want to rely on ride-sharing apps. Breakfast is tasty, more-so their Indian options over their 'Western' ones, albeit a bit slow in making food. Their masala tea is very good and far better than their coffee. The whole hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated in pink and white stone and is maintained well. The only small issue is that beyond the restaurant and the outside patio, there isn't really a common space (like a lounge or bar) to hang out comfortably in - so if you don't feel like facing the Jaipur outside you have your room only to be in unless you take a meal in the restaurant. Overall - for my two day trip to Jaipur, the staff are hospitable, the prices for services fair, the comfort high and the location near the sights without being in the chaotic heart of it. Would recommend.

It was a nice boutique hotel with wonderful food. People were courteous and eager to make stay as pleasant as possible. Rooms were spacious.

definitely the best hotel we stayed in India. the structure is welcoming, the rooms spacious and clean and all the staff extremely kind and professional. the restaurant serves excellent food both for breakfast and lunch/dinner. We reccomend you to join it.

Amazing food, amazing service. If you are foreign and looking for a non spicy meal you should try the spinach soup, mushrooms chicken breast and watermelon & feta salad. Almond & honey smoothie is delicious also. The place is very comfortable.

Everything was amazing ❤️ Perfect traditional Indian food and all the guys of the staff are really kind and nice. The best butter chicken and dal in Jaipur! Thank you for this beautiful dinner! For sure we’ll come back to join this restaurant.

Dev Mahal, a truly incredible experience. I visited India with my girlfriend & Jaipur was one of our stops. We decided to stay at Dev Mahal & I’m so glad we did! The staff were so friendly, accommodating and did everything they possibly could to ensure we had the best stay & time in Jaipur. The room was clean, filled with all required amenities and perfect for our stop in Jaipur. As a new hotel we were extremely impressed with their service. We ate in the restaurant which was amazing & everything we needed, they provided. The location is great for visiting all of Jaipur’s attractions. Value for money, Dev Mahal is 10/10 and I would recommend to anyone! Thank you!

I had to write this review because my stay at Dev Mahal was nothing short of exceptional! I was surprised to find premium body care products like the Kama miniatures provided in my room. As I am someone who often struggles with using hotel toiletries while traveling, this thoughtful touch really stood out to me. The food experience was equally impressive with a very diverse menu, My highlight was the Special dal makhni at their restaurant, Bada Saab. It was rich, authentic and truly one of the best I’ve had in a long time and all the other dishes were a 10 out of 10 too. Overall, I absolutely loved my stay and will definitely be returning whenever I visit Jaipur again!

Dev Mahal is a tastefully done property. The lobby, the hallways and the rooms themselves are beautiful. Our room was quite spacious however lacked any view. The window was taped. We couldnt/didnt open them and so it did feel a little stuffy at some point. The staff was prompt in taking requests and were quite enthusiastic to help. While the cleaning services were good, they were also quite noisy when they cleaned the other rooms on the floor which could get a little disturbing. The food menu had limited options. We ended up ordering quite a bit from some great nearby restaurants on Swiggy/Zomato & the staff would promptly deliver it to the rooms. Overall it was a great value for the price we paid. I would definitely consider this as option if I were to revisit.
