My buddy and I rode here to stay over for the Harley Owners Group (HOG) 'Iron Adventures Rally' in July. The rally brought in 100s of riders to enjoy the area. We had a reservation for the Tram Haus, which was located close to the HOG Rally check in area. There didn't seem to be a clear plan for motorcycle parking, especially for check in, but one of the employees helped guide us to some parking in the Tram Haus building. Check in was quick and easy and our room was quite nice. It was a one bed suite with a nice pull out couch and a balcony. Overall, the room was very nice, although the refrigerator did not work and the towels were old and actually tattered (but clean). We had to pay a 'resort fee' as part of the cost. The resort is a great sprawling area with water park and ski slopes and various shops and bars and whatnot. Make sure you look at the map on their website to figure out if you are staying near where you want to be or you could end up miles away from your destination. That said, for some reason, on the first day of the rally, a lot of the services were closed. The Tower bar in the Tram Haus was closed as well as several other facilities. They were set to open at 4 on Friday, over halfway in to the rally. We ended up eating at the Foundry in a nearby building. It was OK... fairly average food at higher prices, but the service was good.
