Advantages: The foreman at the front desk is very good, the hotel is very good, very big, the price is not expensive, the security is also very good, very quiet, the equipment is complete, you can eat takeaway, but it may be because of the location, the delivery fee is relatively high
Disadvantages: all the spare parts have a bad shelf life, the shower gel has expired for several months, the shampoo conditioner mineral water has also expired for a month or two, and the empty bottle of shower gel used by the last guest is still in the bathroom. This shocked me. The empty bottle is not for me. It was originally placed there) If you look at it, the cleaning of the hotel has not cleaned the bathroom part. There is no TV in the room, and the hotel is really too biased, it takes half an hour to walk from the nearest bus stop.

Thanks to Zhou Xu at the front desk, the people are very beautiful and very enthusiastic. In the morning, I rushed to Longjia Airport to return to Shanghai. I hurriedly forgot the charger. Zhou Xu called me in time and told me that I could come back in time. The high-speed rail did not delay, thank you very much! The hotel is on the Songhua River, surrounded by mountains and rivers, and it is very pleasant to walk along the river.

The reason why I stayed here is because of the good location. It is right next to the west square of Jilin Station, 6-7 minutes walk. It is very convenient to transfer trains to other places. The room facilities are old, but the bathroom looks relatively new. The cleaning lady is pretty nice, and the front desk the next day is also good.

- The check-in staff seems to have no experience with foreign guests. The check-in procedure takes a long time.
Even though we booked early, we were assigned a room at the end of the row. Same room type but different pictures. Although it was repainted to look modern, the room looked quite old, dusty and had some large cracks and peeling paint on the walls.

There were no rooms available during the May Day holiday, so I grabbed one online. Overall, it was clean, had no strange smells, the air was good, there was Huawei Internet TV in the room, and the membership was very comprehensive. The overall experience was very good, and it was not a rip-off at this price.

But the land near the train station is very expensive, and it is not easy to get it. Everything in the hotel is small, the front desk is small, the lobby is small, and the room is even smaller. The location of the hotel is very good, just at the foot of Beishan Park. The lobby thoughtfully prepares various ice creams to cool down in the summer. The front desk lady is very good and specially arranged a room that is not facing the street. Mineral water is also prepared at the elevator entrance on the floor for use at any time. The most important thing is that the room is spacious, clean and odorless. The facilities are also new and the whole house is smart. When I go out to stay in a hotel, what I pay most attention to is new facilities, clean and odorless. It is very comfortable to live in, and the breakfast is also very good. The location is great, right outside the Songhua River and very close to the cruise ship terminal, very convenient. The room facilities are very clean, very fresh and odorless; the service is warm and thoughtful, and parking is convenient. The breakfast on the sixth floor has a complete range of varieties, a good environment, and a relaxing dining environment. The picture was taken casually in the restaurant on the sixth floor.

GGuest UserIt was our first time in Songhua resort. We chose Jenny apartments because it seems they were very closed to slopes and we were right. The building 2 was just in front of the ski center building and the cable car. Simple but cozy apartment. Perfect for 3-4 people. Jenny and her family were absolutely nice since the beginning: she helped us with the luggages from the nearest parking ( the apartments are in a pedestrian area so the car can’t reach the door), to get the ski pass, to get some tickets for the swimming pool… and to resolve any doubt we had. They don’t offer breakfast but there are many choices 5 minutes walking. We enjoyed a lot our time in Songhua resort! We will come back soon!!

AAmberIOWWe truly had such a wonderful time here, we stayed for two nights! The guesthouse is cosy and cute with a homely feel to it, slept so comfortably and the room is warm, I could have stayed in bed forever haha! The staff are great and the boss is SO helpful, he arranged pick up service from and to the train station, drove us around the Island and even took us to the hot spring! We are so grateful for his kindness! I would recommend anybody who wants to visit Wusong Island to stay here!! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so happy!! Thankyou soo much, we will never forget this trip and our stay here ❤️❤️❤️❤️ x

SStevey_FlI read extensive reviews before I booked this hotel a few months ago, and my experience staying 3 nights here did support those excellent reviews.
The services were superior and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good and packed with sufficient proteins and nutrients to prepare for a full half day skiing. You can rent ski equipments ( even clothing) right at the basement conveniently after you are done eating. Ski passes and ski classes can be purchased right there, with the channel discount prices, so you avoid the hassle of doing these things at the Ski Service Center.
There is a Tesla Model Y always ready to take you from hotel basement to the ski slopes (the ski-in and ski-out access was closed during my stay there but in most cases you could do it) and take you back to hotel whenever you call them a few minutes ahead of time). The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the ski lifts, so even without the transportation assistance, it is manageable by putting on ski boots and just walk back and forth with your skis.
The room I booked has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a living room with TV and dining table and a kitchen sink and stove ( but no utensils yet so don’t expect to cook meals there). Bottle waters and snacks were replenished daily for free.
Besides its own dinning facilities and a small grocery store on the basement, there are plenty of options to eat and shop on the Main Street just down the road from the hotel. Overall, the New Story is a happy story and I look forward to returning in a year or two.
(My advice for those who can afford flexible schedules, try to come here in slow season like now outside the Xmas and Chinese New Year windows, the snow is still quite good yet the crowds are not existent and you can get really good deals in staying, though the lift ticket is still not cheap, 430 RMB a or some $60-65 a day. Much more in busy season).

GGuest UserLove Trip.com, and Holiday Inn in BeiDaHu is great, but I was wondering if the services offered to Chinese nationals can also be offered to foreigners, for instance being able to buy Ski Lifts thought the hotel. This service is only offer to Chinese nationals with a local ID Number, in addition is only offered in the app in Chinese. I went to Holiday Inn so i can ski in Beidahu, which is wonderful, but had to buy a ticket every day, go to lines, etc.... instead of having a 4 day ticket offered to Chinese id holders.
Other than that Trip.com is great for PRC,

AAnonymous UserThe location is on the edge of the ski resort. You can walk to the ski hall in five minutes. It is quite convenient. You can see the ski resort from the room you stay in. The ski resort under the lights at night is charming. The room number provided on Ctrip is not the final check-in number, and no vehicles are allowed in the resort. So when you arrive, it is best to call first and there should be a battery car to pick you up, otherwise it will be unfriendly to first-time travelers with luggage.
The butler service is impeccable, the response is fast, and everything is met. No matter what items are needed for the room, or buying ski tickets at a discount, the hot spring tickets are very fast and reliable.

we were able to check in and check out smoothly and done within 10 mins. Staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. Decor is a bit dated but rooms are spacious and well supplied. Shower and bath are pretty efficient. Housekeeping is great and the lady was very helpful and sweet.
Consistently good service by staff across the hotel, from the front desk staff to the concierge for baggage storage to restaurant.
Over all, a very pleasant 7-day stay.
Location is good for getting around by foot but to get a taxi can be a bit challenging as the location of the hotel is not convenient for taxi’s.
The night before I left China, there was construction work going on outside the hotel, and the constant noise kept me awake all night, which was a terrible experience.

GGuest UserThis is a very cost-effective hotel. The bedding is very comfortable, and the location is good. There are supermarkets and it is easy to get a taxi. There are parking spaces on the roadside, but there are not many vacancies after staying for two days. Maybe the roadside space is a bit tight. Fortunately, I didn't rent a car. It is very close to Jiangbin Park, where there are rime and ice and snow parks, which are fun. Go to Wanlu Yinsi to see rime, and walk along the Songhua River. It's so beautiful. It's best to stay here when you come to Jilin to see rime.

Accommodation is modern, clean and very comfortable. We slept 5 guys in the villa with no issues and we all loved it! 24hr mini shop next door and a little cafe with really friendly people for your morning coffee before hitting the slopes.
7am - 10pm free transport around the resort, just drop them a wechat message. 2 minutes shuttle to the slopes.
I cant rate it any higher - for the money, this place is top notch!

GGuest UserThe owner of the inn is very enthusiastic, and the dishes cooked by the chef are also delicious. The accommodation in the hotel is okay. You can contact the owner to arrange transportation. The hotel is near the Songhua River, and it happens to be where you can take pictures of sunsets and sunrises, and the rime is very good. By the way, I was able to take pictures of the stars, so I added the owner's WeChat account before checking in. He taught us in detail how to take the bus to the entrance of the inn after getting off the train. We ordered dinner in the restaurant at night when we arrived. My friend and I only ordered two dishes and didn't finish them. The portion was really huge. Early the next morning, the boss knocked on the door to wake us up and drove us to see it. Sunrise and rime. The boss’s Wuling car is a beautiful sight in the scenic spot. When he comes back, he will have a home-cooked breakfast at the inn. After dinner, the boss also drove us to the scenic spot of Wusong Island and introduced the local customs and characteristics to us tourists very enthusiastically. A very satisfying trip. I will come back next time!

Could have used some more kitchen equipment to go with the kitchen - there’s just a kettle and a couple of cups. Likewise the bed sheets are a little small: they kept falling off the bed. But for this price, we were very happy - we will book again!
