Great location with lots of food options in the neighborhood a short drive away or a bike ride away. The resort area comprises of Pullman, crowne plaza and Wanda. So if u prefer to eat in one of these hotels that’s an option but much more pocket friendly options in the area too outside of this hotel area but close by. Rooms are comfortable. An outdoor and indoor pool are available but the indoor one water is too cold and needs to be regulated. The steam and sauna are not always on so if u are the first one to use like in my case then u have to wait till it heats up and gets fully operational. Steam worked great but sauna not so good. Jacuzzi was busted and non-operational. Don’t forget to get ur swimming caps as even though outdoor pool one is not required but if it rains u must go to the indoor one as per hotel rules and for indoor u need a cap and to buy one at site is very expensive. The check in desk person Jacky Chen was very nice and helpful. Smooth check in process. Eva he at the breakfast buffet was also very kind and friendly and all the staff generally were good. However the staff at the front entrance gate need to be trained better to talk to customers like they normally should to customers but I felt they were very rude although it was not there intention to be rude. They just need better training. Parking is not allowed around the entrance circle but many people are allowed to park and is not consistent. If they allow one car to park then they should allow all. Local cars should not get preference. Even the help staff at the breakfast should be trained a little more to serve customers as it was quite chaotic. Overall a pleasant stay but some improvements required as highlighted above.

We booked two rooms in the hotel. One for my children and one for us as a couple. We loved both rooms. The location is suitable and distance friendly to most attractions and the staff members go beyond the normal service to make you feel at home. Adora from the front desk was extremely helpful and caring towards us. She sent us a list of children a activities in the hotel and helped us when feeling sick sending us a basket of fruit and some porridge. She even met us the day we left go give us a present from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious offering many options and the rooms very spacious and clean. Thank you Adora and Intercontinental hotel - xishuanbanna is beautiful and the hotel is the perfect combination to this trip.

It was my first time in Xishuangbanna. I was quite surprised when I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The lobby is transparent and the breeze is very comfortable. There are live peacocks in the lobby for tourists to watch. The service attitude of the hotel staff is very good. Booking hotel accommodation also comes with free travel photography, and five free refined photos of clothing are given for free. It is very cost-effective. The travel photographer is very professional and the photos he took are very beautiful. I thought it was free and didn't have much expectation, but the photos were really good. When choosing photos, they didn't force you to choose more photos. The attitude was very comfortable! If I have the opportunity in the future, I will stay in this hotel again.

Romantic private bath on the Mekong River, beautiful river view There is an amazing hotel next to the beautiful Mekong River. The location here is excellent. The lively Starlight Night Market is just 200 meters away. It is very convenient to eat, visit the night market and enjoy the river view. The hotel room has an unbeatable river view and a wide field of vision, where you can enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Mekong River. At night, the spectacular light show is dazzling, immersing people in a dreamy atmosphere. When there is no typhoon, you can also see tourist boats passing by, and the Thai style performances on the boat are wonderful. Imagine lying in a huge bath, soaking in hot springs, drinking red wine 🍷, watching yachts, ships, performance cruises 🚢 on the river slowly passing by, how romantic it is. There is an extra-large private bath in the room, which can accommodate two people, making it an ideal choice for couples to vacation. The shower room has a thoughtful seat design, which is suitable for people with inconvenient legs and feet. The hotel's breakfast is rich and delicious, injecting vitality into a beautiful day. In addition, there is an open-air swimming pool and a romantic holiday-style terrace. Full of holiday style, more photos than movies. Here, you can enjoy a comfortable accommodation experience and leave unforgettable memories. 💕

The hotel is located a bit out of Xishuangbanna but surrounded by nature. Very helpful and nice stuff. There is a shuttle bus for different attractions like the night market to use for free. Also air port shuttle is provided. Unfortenately the outdoor pool was not usable as they were cleaning it while being here but there is an indoor pool and a gym to use. The breakfast was good. We‘ve booked the executive package which was a bit disappointing as the main food contained of Chinese dishes and barely Western food as we thought might be different in such an international hotel of this category. The hotel seems a bit old but that didn‘t bother us.

The boss is super enthusiastic and the explanation is in place. Airport pick-up service is also provided. Make an appointment one day in advance, and the driver will contact the pick-up station. The most attractive thing about the hotel is the swimming pool, which has a cute shape and a water level of 1.4-1.7 suitable for adults and children. There is also a children's pool for small children. There are also a lot of swimming rings. Children like yellow ducks. As soon as they arrive at the inn, they are in the pool. The best thing about the room is that it has a balcony, where you can cool your clothes, play with your children, chat with your husband here at night, have a small world of two, and overlook the swimming pool. The disadvantage is that the bathroom facilities are too simple and old, which reduces the overall feeling.

We loved everything about our stay at this hotel. They contacted us ahead of time to confirm our stay and arrange transportation to the hotel. They were available via WeChat at any time and quickly fulfilled any requests we had. The hotel was very quiet and away from The busyness of the city center while still being easily accessible. The room was very clean and comfortable and they offered complimentary warm milk each evening as well as a fruit tray one evening and ginger tea on a cold day. Driver Wang helped us arrange our day activities and drove us anywhere we wanted to go for a very reasonable price. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in XiShuangBanna.
