Love the people at the front desk, they are always so happy and friendly. Check-in took a bit longer than usual but the staff were very apologetic. I stayed in the Urban room at level 12 facing the highway and river. To my surprise it was rather quiet I can’t really hear the traffic. Morning breakfast at level 6 was pretty crowded. The next morning I just went down earlier and it was great. The girls at breakfast were always happy to welcome us… keep it up 👍

Stayed at this location over the weekend with my family. Had the family suite, rooms were spacious and nicely done up. Room had only 2 wall sockets near the TV. Staff was every friendly, and was able to provide some recommendations around the area. The water dispensing machine at every floor was very convenient. My only issue was we could hear people singing (probably from next unit karaoke) late at night. Warning note - Those parking in the number lots; you might wanna put the parking coupons as we saw lots of cars getting summons next morning.

This was a staycation and we booked an executive twin with ‘2 large single beds’ as advertised, but the room was very small, so were the beds. Although rather well-appointed in terms of furnishings, there just isn’t quite enough space for 2 adults and a pre-teen child to roam. The tv is also smaller usual. There is no breakfast provided but the street that the hotel is located at has some options, but not where I would go for breakfast. The Mount Austin theme park is nearby, but if that’s where you’re heading, I’d assume you would like more space and comfort to chill out after an entire day of play.

Quite a nice and cozy stay. Be warned that the link way bridge from CIQ to princess cove is unfinished, there’s no lift so my friend and I had to lug our luggage down and then up 3 sets of staircases at the construction area. It was very tiring. Also the room had cockroaches when we arrived but my friend was able to catch and kill them. The bathroom does feel grimy after a few days so I would have appreciated an option to pay extra for cleaning.
However, the location was great. There’s a pool and gym, though the mall is unfinished it has Jaya Grocer, so my friend and I could cook in the apartment etc. though I’d recommended washing everything before use because there were some grimy stuff on the utensils.
Grab rides are quite affordable to other places like cafes too, and there’s security guards. So all in all quite worth for the price.

We booked 2 nights and my hubby decided to stay another night more. Ms Grace was very helpful in assisting us with the room extension and “making up” the room. The aircon in our room was very strong.
The buffet breakfast was great too.
Hope that the gym could have more billiard table and amenities as we queued up to play for the game and some balls are missing. Air conditioning in the gym wasn’t strong too.

The location of the hotel is not too far from immigration checkpoint. I like the spacious big room and toilet come with a bathtub. The only not satisfy of the the hotel is the wall and furniture look a bit old, not furnished new. There is no charging points near the bed. They have facilities of night pub, Spa and a mini pool in the hotel. Hotel breakfast is traditional lesi lemak, goreng , curry etc...not international food. Overall great stay for a cheap day trip.

Located very close to JB CIQ. However don't attempt to walk over. Road works abound and you will have to cross a busy highway. Await their hourly shuttle from the pick up point at CIQ near the 1st floor convenience store where travelers typically book their grab rides from.
Breakfast spread is good. They have kopi tarik available, however I was hoping for teh tarik instead.
Room is clean and TV channels included English movie channels. Comfortable pantry area where you can eat and heat up food in the microwave.

Everyone in my group loved it. My kids loved it so much. Clean, spacious.
We arrived late but they were very accommodating with the set up of the extra bed.
My only gripe was there's no extra key card so while the kids were resting in the room, I had to ask for assistance from front desk to help me get into my room. N I ran alot of errands 😂 but the staff were very nice. Aircon wasn't very cold for a new hotel wish we could have increase the speed of the ceiling fan.

The hotel staff is very welcoming and helpfull. Thank you to Executive Puan Sarimah Sapwi on your kind helpfull. I was here attending company training. What I want to say is it the ballroom is very spacious and comfort. The room ia a sound proof. The food is very good and deliciuos. It is variety and very tastefully. The High tea also very good especially a mee goreng mamak. Overal is very good.

@@NN@Love the free parking when the ticket validated. The foods are so much variety we tried all but the time limit is not enough. The treasure hunting and to break the clues to find the combination lock is fun. The themed deco concept of the hotel room are on point. Its very convenient locatiin when you wabt to go to the water park, theme park, Sea Life and Medini mall. The parking bays are ample and nearby with covered roof. We should have stayed one more night as we do not use all the facilities and services there.

GGuest UserI have been staying in FIVES for a few times but booked for twin sharing 1st time trying family room ladies trip with my cousins it was a nice room spacious with 2 toilets. Room was very clean with hair dryer , iron board , iron, amenities. We were early and our luggages was able to be kept at the hotel premises so we can proceed with our shopping opp the hotel Komtar and City Square. No complaints very pleased with the hotel facilities and services.

GGuest UserI really nice spacious room, we stayed in 307, which is a one-bed room apartment, please note there are smaller rooms. this is really good if you are staying for a few days, large living room with an induction cooker, toaster, microwave, and fridge. They also included plates and bowls. for cooking equipment and glassware, you will need to contact housekeeping, i stayed only 2 nights so i didn't bother. one big pet peeve was that the dish provided was too big for the microwave, so please heat up your food in the containers before plating them. Both the microwave and fridge worked well, it made ice in around 2 to 3 hours. the shower was great, with constant temperature and good water pressure. the bedroom lacked a TV only the TV was in the living room, so that was a bummer, the room was also a bit noisy as i think there is a family of birds living in the air-con compressor so if you are a light sleeper, you want to give this a miss. The road outside can also get noisy at all hours. The nightlife is interesting, with quite a few bars and restaurants, and lots of motorized scooter rental stores, this does have quite a big issue with me, with alot of teens and kids zooming up and down the harbor at night, it does get dangerous for families with smaller kids. The selling point of this place is its proximity to Legoland, unfortunately, it is a tad hard to get a Grabcar (a rideshare service like Uber) because at the moment the area is not as busy as it was pre-covid. i see families waiting 30mins to an hour to get a car. If you drive, there is an underground carpark (complimentary). The most disappointing was the breakfast, not enough food, and they were unable to cope with the number of people. they struggled to fill coffee pots, juice dispensers, cut fruits, and bread. once something came out, it was gone in minutes. Overall, I would recommend this place for families, just skip the breakfast and make something in the room.

HHo Ho HeBooked it last minute and thought it will be a great choice for one night stay because pictures looked great and all. However, just within 1 day, we changed 3 rooms. First room was great until my friend noticed a bed bug on the other single bed. Went to counter and service crew at counter were clueless to what bed bugs were and didn’t want to change our rooms (just wanted to change the sheets but bed bugs can’t be eliminated without terminators..) until another guy who knew what bed bugs were came and helped us to another room. At night, around 1/2am when we were about to sleep, the second room had a power trip and people came to our room to check and all and in the end we had to change to another room. Really exhausting night.. Rooms were kind of dusty too but gotta give it to the location cuz it was near the aeon mall

AAnonymous User2nd stay here is because of the amenities around the hotel and because of the huge size of the room. However cleanliness need to be improved. Hair found on the pillowcase. Tissue box not replaced with a new one thus, required guests to call for housekeeping service. 1 reason for the repeat stay is the reasonable price and the spa of the hotel. The spa has great therapists and reasonable discounted price for hotel guests.

MMatchaulatteThe place is quite convinient. Near the immigration. It is behind the zenith mall. Since we didnt take the room without wondows, we were staying at the basement. It is a no frill kind of room. Clean enough, the walls are a little bit thin, you can hear people showering but it is ok as it not so bad. Have some toiletries and towels which is really good. Towels are also provided and water as well. I would highly recommend this place for those staying for a night and are in a budget. If you have more room for spending, you can try the room with windows, it looks bigger and much more airy
