Location: The only drawback of this hotel may be its location. Since this hotel is located halfway up the mountain, it can only be reached by car, shuttle bus or taxi. I took a taxi from Kaga Onsen Station. The journey took about 12 minutes and the fare was about 3,200 yen. I think the price is reasonable because the attitude of taxi drivers here is much better than in Hong Kong. If you don’t think it is expensive, you can give it a try. In addition, the hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be reserved. You can inform the hotel staff in advance. Service: I like the attitude of the hotel waiters very much. Unfortunately, an earthquake occurred when I went there (an earthquake and tsunami occurred in Ishikawa Prefecture, Hokuriku on January 1, 2024😢). First of all, I must say that the hotel staff are polite and friendly, which makes me want to stay here again in the future. The price is cheap, but the location is relatively remote. There is something wrong with the management of the hotel and the staff should be re-educated. The four employees at Check-in and Check-out cannot speak English well, so it would be better to use online translation. However, because they were all afraid of communicating with foreigners, they just dodged it without explaining the hotel facilities. I booked a "Superior Twin Room (Lake View)" and a "Standard Triple Room (Lake View)" (I will just book a "random room type" in the future, and I didn't feel that the room was better after spending more money). They Maybe they wanted to line me up together, so they gave me two triple rooms, but they didn't tell me when I checked in. They only told me two room numbers, and then kept asking us which room would accommodate two people. (This is not important at all. The hotel did not move the extra beds. Why do you ask me this?) The neighborhood is also very remote, so we might consider booking dinner, but the front desk didn’t explain it when we checked in. At first, we were asked if we wanted Italian or Japanese dinner. After we chose Italian, they told us that Italian only Can accommodate 2 people, Japanese style meal for 3 people. Later, I asked if we could eat together. Then she called again to confirm that we could have Japanese food together. (I guess it’s because the superior twin room can choose Italian meals, but the standard triple room cannot. It may be written on the hotel’s official website, but it is not clearly written on trip.com) This hotel is more of a leisure hotel. You can play croquet, billiards, tennis, etc., and you can also ride an electric bicycle to the lake for free. Judging from the dinner standards of a hot spring hotel, the Japanese dinner here is below par. The cleanliness of the room is okay, but there are hairs in almost every sink in the bathhouse, and the cleanliness needs to be improved. There is also a problem with the management of breakfast. When we walked in to have breakfast, the waiter didn't ask us for our room number, but asked us to ask the front desk. The front desk didn't even ask for the room number, so we went straight in to eat. There is no asking for the room number. This management method only applies to Japanese people. If you want to have breakfast, you can just walk in. No one knows whether the accommodation includes breakfast. Although it is a lake view room, Chaishan Lagoon will be covered (the total floor is seventh floor, but it is assigned to the fourth floor, the difference is as in the photo), but if you look at the mountain view, it is about the same.

The environment is beautiful, and the indoor and outdoor hot spring pools are very good. The service staff have a very good attitude, especially the Indians who can communicate with us in English and the service is very good.

There is no doubt that this is a business hotel in a tourist area. For those who are expecting a hot spring inn, it may feel a little unsatisfying. In terms of facilities, the bathroom facilities were lacking. Even though the hotel is located on a small hill, there is no large observation bath, and there is no sauna in the bathroom. As for food, the limited selection of dishes was a concern.

I stayed in a room with a king-size bed. It felt a little old in places, such as the door not fitting properly. It wasn't dirty, so it didn't bother me that much. The food was delicious. It's better to make a reservation when there are a lot of people.

Large sized rooms, beautiful lake at the centre of the property, particularly beautiful during cherry blossom season . Very comfortable, good breakfast. Great for relaxation, but we hardly had any time at the property as we were always out for work.

Probably due to the fact that it is at the so called countryside, price is good. It is quite a drive to the hotel. I arrived about 9pm and it was such a dark drive right into the hotel. A local was driving, if not it would have been quite scary. Not so sure if the location is convenient for the usual traveller. I was booked this hotel by my business counterpart for convenience and supposedly close proximity to the factory. Room is big and spacious. I had 2 queen sized bed with a table and 2 chairs. Not typical of japanese hotels. Room looks old style but clean. Facial wash, body cloth (for scrubbing) etc was provided. They have a natural indoor and outdoor onsen. And a bath that comes with it where everyone just showers together. There is also a dressing area where lotion and moisturiser for the face are provided in the women's onsen. Hair dryer too. Not sure about the men's. There's a vending machine area with drinks and cup noodles and also the toy egg turning machines. Breakfast is at level 1 restaurant, Japanese breakfast, served buffet style.

The food is delicious. The vegetables in the breakfast buffet are especially tasty. You can choose between Japanese and Italian for dinner, so I recommend staying two nights. You don't need to bring a towel from your room to use the hot springs, and you can use them anytime. The pool is comfortable, and you can use the sauna in the pool facility in your swimsuit, so the whole family can enjoy it. In August, fireworks are set off every day for about 10 minutes on the lagoon in front of the hotel.

It was inconvenient that the shop inside the building was gone. There was really nothing nearby. Since it was winter, we didn't rent a car for safety reasons, which was even more inconvenient. However, it did have the advantage of being surrounded by snow, soaking in the large bath, and enjoying the beautiful, quiet, and vast scenery. It was helpful that they provided a shuttle bus to the airport and station.

I knew in advance that there were two restaurants, but I didn't realize they were so small that you would need a reservation.

The service from the employees is the worst, they can't even answer the phone. They may be part-time workers, but they have no training at all.
