It is a business hotel located in the downtown Tenmonkan in Minami Kyushu, but it was only called ”Rem”, and I was able to sleep well as rarely for me to sleep until I was woken up by the alarm clock. The city trams and buses are running on the road right in front of me, but I didn't care about the noise at all. 1 I had breakfast at the talis in the building because it was breakfast for the night, but it was quite well organized and substantial. I was able to choose from hot dog pancake toast.

100% convenient. You can reached via shinkasen on the last train and not worry about to catch the last bus or walk on quiet road to hotel. The hotel entrance is the same level on the exit JR platform. From the photo of entrance and exit of family mart , left is the hotel right is the JR. Less than 5 minutes from hotel check in counter to JR. Room is cleaned. I love the availability of 3 choices of bath salt. Self service.. just scoop the number of salt you want. Room is quiet and no sojnd from the JR or road. Only the breakfast is not muslim friendly. The room is not small. Just nice. Happy to stay and strongly recommend.

The Sherton Hotel in Kagoshima was an absolute gem of a hotel! This is our first visit to Japan, and we are admittedly nervous about the language barrier and cultural change from the US. From the moment we checked in, the staff has bent over backwards to make sure we are comfortable and have done a fantastic job to make this stay completely comfortable and enjoyable. The location is perfect right at the center of downtown Kagoshima, and the rooms, restaurants, and common spaces have more in common with a Four Seasons than with what is standard Sheraton in the US. We were not able to take advantage of the spa, but the Onsen (Hot Springs Sauna) was so relaxing and rejuvenating — especially after 26 hours of flights to get here! HIGHLY recommended. Thank you to the staff that has helped make our 4 days in Kagoshima a memorable experience! Now off to Hiroshima!

This hotel is far away from the train station and planetarium, so it is not suitable for independent travel, because the bus schedule is sp****, and the nearby shopping malls are older and more local, making it difficult to buy together. The breakfast is not very tasty, not very exquisite, tastes average, so you don’t need to order it.

The hotel is very good, clean and hygienic. Opposite the hotel is 711 and Lawson, and there is a freshly made bento. The hotel breakfast and lunch are very good! There is a bus terminal in Kamoike Port 300 meters away, and there are many taxis (the hotel can help call, and the taxi to the city center is 2200 yen). The balcony can watch the sunrise and sunset of Sakurajima. There were 2 earthquakes, and the table lamp shook violently. I looked at the 6th magnitude. At 11 o'clock in the evening, the streets were full of people! After watching, I went to sleep

I stayed in an ocean view twin room on the 5th floor for one night from June 10th (Saturday). Unfortunately, due to the rain, we were unable to do the ocean SUP that we had planned. This hotel, Sekisui House, is located next to a roadside station and has been opened all over the country for the purpose of revitalizing and interacting with local communities, and Marriott is responsible for its operation. It is a complete ”hotel specializing in lodging,” and meals and activities are provided at nearby local facilities. As it is run by Marriott, the rooms were clean and functionally laid out, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Also, the view of Kinko Bay from the room was wonderful, and there was a beautiful beach right in front of me, so I thought it was a perfect location for swimming in the summer. However, there is no bathtub, and there are no hot spring facilities at the adjacent roadside station, so as a Japanese person who prefers bathtubs, I feel a little unsatisfied. The multipurpose lounge on the first floor was very calm, well-designed, and very comfortable. Here, they provided free services such as coffee and miso soup, as well as a microwave and toaster, all of which were of good quality. It can be made of paper, so I think it will be easier to use if you have cutlery such as plates, spoons, and chopsticks. There's also a coin laundry and a small market space, which I felt was put into place with a lot of thought. I think the issue is the negative relationship between the local community and the hotel. I thought that the area would automatically be revitalized by the establishment of a hotel, and I felt that hotels were leaving all aspects of the area to the area, and there was not much cooperation between them. We also hold events that bring together the hotel and the local community. We felt that there was a need for both parties to work together, such as creating new ways to highlight the best aspects of the area to guests.

It is attracted to the appearance that is arranged in the vast site along the sea, and it is booked from HP. Since it was an evening check-in, the lobby was crowded and there was a line, but there was tea and water on the server and I was very thirsty, so I was saved by the waiting time for the guide. The palace has a calm atmosphere like an inn from the corridor. The room you entered is luxurious, as rumors say, the room is large enough, and the ocean view spreading through the pine forest from the window is even in the cloudy sky when you stay. It is a sufficiently satisfying view and you can go out to the veranda and look at it. (However, please note that the balcony was about to fall when the position of the balcony was low.) The fresh flowers of Casablanca displayed between the floors look nice and nice, but they have a strong scent, so My husband was not good at Japanese style rooms. (I thought I would lower it, but I heard that I didn't have to do that much.) The indoor bath is more solid than expected, and the lotion of snow skin spirit placed in the wash basin is a very nice service for women. This is Su. I also received a newspaper in the morning. However, it can happen anywhere, but when I was sleeping in bed at night, I heard the sound of children running around on the upper floor and the voice of people gathering and talking loudly in the next room. Fortunately, it was good because it became quiet after 23:00. I don't think you can hear it in the next room if it's a normal voice, but I think it's better for those staying in the future to be careful with each other. The expected bath was close to the palace and the interior was very large, and the temperature was set to be soaked for a long time, but it felt like a public bath rather than a hot spring. By the way, according to my husband, it is wise to refrain from using the men's open-air bath during bright hours. For the dishes, I asked for a black pork shabu-shabu with a cup of Izo Mori. We had a relaxing meal in a corner space that can be used by 8 adults in the digging ceremony. The content is so rich that I can't eat it, and I'm very satisfied with the amount of main pork that I think there will be 2 ~ 3 servings in Tokyo. The next morning's Japanese food was not a buffet, so I was able to relax and relax at the set, and I was able to take out coffee on my way home. The hall was very large and spacious, and although there should be a lot of guests, I was able to spend a relaxing time without feeling cramped. Thanks to you, I was able to stay very comfortably. I would like to visit you when visiting Ibusuki. Thank you for your help.

Excellent
SShawnThe location is superb, room was clean, spacious and with a nice balcony. The room provided all you need on a leisure trip.
The only downside was it was super complicated and time consuming to contact the hostel for entrance pin, check-in procedure and check-in number. We asked the front desk receptionist of our previous hotel to call the hostel number stated on trip.com booking confirmation email in morning, but no one picked up; called again at 3pm, and the hostel hotline said the number was wrong and referred us to call another number. If we did not have the assistance from a Japanese local receptionist from another hotel, I dont think we could get the entrance pin and check-in procedure information smoothly.
I recommend this hostel to Japanese local, or tourists with a Japanese mobile number to make calls/able to find assistance from Japanese local people.
This hotel is only a minute walk from Kagoshima Chuo Station. It is almost the same as other business hotels, and the rooms and bathrooms are basically clean, but the bathrooms are especially small, and some of the facilities are outdated. You can be served breakfast in the lobby on the first floor, depending on your accommodation plan. There seems to be enough tables and chairs, but due to the large number of rooms, especially on holidays when the rooms are almost full, it may be too crowded to eat breakfast. However, there are cafes and convenience stores around the hotel that open early in the morning, so you won't have any trouble finding food. The hotel can be used as a good base for sightseeing in Kagoshima.
GGuest UserThere aren't many reviews, so I'll give it a try if the location and the price are cheap. The point is that his house doesn’t clean the room every day! ! !
It is a seven or eight-minute walk from the JR platform. It is on the other side of the railway track, so you need to drag your suitcase around the railway track. On the way, you will pass Yamagataya Supermarket (which sells snow-branded extra-thick milk, and Wagyu beef at 50% off after 6 o'clock) and a local supermarket. The hotel is close to the bus. Station town is closer.
The hotel is quite new. The room is spacious. It should not be smaller than 17. The 30-inch suitcase can be spread out and you can walk normally. There is a place to put things at the door. The toilet is also large. The TV is big and the Internet is very fast. You can pick up disposable slippers downstairs. Toothbrush coffee, no skin care products for girls, free coffee machine and microwave.
When it comes to service, the Japanese store clerks are quite polite. There was a blond female store clerk with a very average attitude. She told me that the cleaning rule is that there will be free cleaning of the whole house only on the fourth day after check-in. During the two days, only free towel changes and garbage disposal. I said that is not the case. Yesterday, no one came to collect the garbage. She only received a pack of new towels. She said she didn't understand what it meant. It was speechless. The water is not replenished every day. One person checked in and received two bottles of water. The next day, he asked the front desk for two bottles, otherwise there would be none. The water was not replenished on the third day.
The overall cost-effectiveness is good. If it is much cheaper than the hotel at JR station, you can try it. If it is similar, you can make your own decision.
GGuest UserThis is a new hotel with bunk beds which can accommodate 4 to 6 persons. The beds were spacious and a good size. We stayed in the executive bunk family room which can accommodate 6 persons. It may be a bit tight for 6 persons but just right for our family of 4. There is full size washing machine cum dryer in the room which is very useful for washing our clothes. The hotel serves a buffet breakfast with a good spread but as there is no dining area, you need to pack your breakfast into bento boxes and eat them in your room. But we saw a sign which says breakfast will be separately charged from Jan 2024 onwards. Now, breakfast is complimentary and included in the room rate. The hotel also does not have car park but there is more then sufficient coin parking right next door which cost 600 yen from 2000 to 800. The location is quite central and a short 5-10 min drive to Tenmonkan. There is also a good ramen restaurant across the road from the hotel, Rai Rai Tei which is worth trying. Just a tip, we got a much better room rate on Rakuten than the usual Agoda, *********** sites.
ひひみでIt's cheap and within walking distance from the station.
There are also convenience stores, bento shops, and general stores nearby.
I came with my 7 month old daughter.
There is also a diaper bag, microwave oven, stove,
There were also frying pans, cutlery, and plates.
I was able to enjoy baby food and milk just like at home without any stress.
It was wonderful.
I would definitely use it again. I really recommend it.
RResort810795It is a stay with GOTO children. The appearance is an old and small business hotel, but it was comfortable inside. We stayed at the zashiki. It is very good that the hot water pot is installed in a high place that the child can't reach, and the bathroom is surprisingly large. Also, when I arrived, I gave my child a little toy. After receiving it, if you had another color good, you would have come to the front desk quickly, and you would have a different color. It was very nice and really appreciated. Also, breakfast is delicious. You can choose chicken rice or fish tea pickles or curry, and you come out with mori salad and baked fish. I was very satisfied from the morning. The Astronomical Museum is also within walking distance. I will choose this place when I go to Kagoshima City again.
JJessie CThe room is home-style, with kitchen and toilet, terrace The location is near the store street, it is very convenient to buy things There is an airport bus station nearby, or a station in front of the central station, ensuring a seat (it seems that you can't reserve it in advance) Breakfast is full! ! ! Black dolphin meat is free to eat! ! I don't have to eat till noon!
GGuest UserThe hotel is a short distance from the Shinkansen station,( trolley stop N11). Take the trolley to N8 . The breakfast was very good and the burgers are great for lunch. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Waki, who was a great help for me applying for a visa.
GGuest UserSecond use. A hotel where you can spend a perfectly comfortable time with the cleanliness of the room, the large communal bath and breakfast from the correspondence of the lobby. A hotel that makes me happy to stay comfortably with the morning greetings of the cleaning staff.
GGuest UserSince I used JAL's dynamic package, it is a little difficult to think about the cost performance only by the inn fee, but I should have stayed with meals and stayed at this price with a set of planes. If you think that the room is just sleeping, there is no problem. Convenient because it is close to the station. There is a little distance to the Astronomical Museum, but there are trams and buses, and you can walk normally. The breakfast was delicious and I remember eating too much.
