The hotel is perfectly sited with seawiew from all the rooms. The rooms are nicely decoreted, and the cleaning was perfect. New towels every day. The breakfast was nice with eggs, bacon warity of cheeses and some fruits. The staff was very nice and helpfull. The sunset was magic from the balcony. There is a few restaurants in walking distence from the hotel. I would recomend this hotel, maybe we will be back.

Pleasant room, with balcony overlooking the sea. Ate there that evening, and left with leftovers. Coffee is available, for purchase through tout the night at the lobby bar..we were off schedule with sleep! Lovely breakfast, with numerous choices. Nice pool. Lower deck area near the sea, and another short flight of stairs to a cozy narrow beach area. Beach is stony, no sand, so I kept my sandals on,which dried quickly. Not far from Kalamata proper, with a few sights to see.

Hotel located “feet in the water”…..you are sure to be in a little paradise! Dinner time arrives: beautiful table with white tablecloth! And then the food! First course served: a conglomeration of pasta, shriveled bacon or how to use leftovers from previous meals. I've never encountered this anywhere! What followed was even worse: cubes of vegetables claiming to be “ratatouille” swimming in water accompanied by an unidentifiable fish that had been fried a large number of times. The dishes are distributed in the kitchen, we expressed our dissatisfaction and no staff came to inquire about the problem or apologize to us

We stayed in Messinian Bay for 5 nights in August 2023. Three families with 4 kids age 5-10 years old. The hotel is situated right by the sea, there's a private beach in front. Pool is very nice. Food is almost excellent, not very big variety but whatever we ate was fabulous. Breakfast ok. Rooms are comfortable. If I had to ask for something more, would be a bigger bed and a nicer mattress. Staff is friendly and relaxed. Overall, we had very nice holidays, I recommend Messinian Bay

Excellent location on the sea with spacious rooms, clean and service from the staff in all infrastructures (reception, bar, restaurant, pool, beach). Excellent breakfast but also a restaurant worth trying. We will definitely go again!!

Structure with an amazing view, very well organised, very clean, excellent breakfast, prices, especially in the low season, incredibly low. In some rooms the sea is right under the balcony... beautiful!

11/8/2022 We went for three nights (we are a middle-aged couple without children) for the second time. The first was a similar period in 2019 and the experience was very positive in many ways (clean room, beautiful view, very convenient location on the sea, ideal for rest). To the point that my husband and I reminisce about said vacation over and over again. Arriving in the room I find 2-3 small ants in the middle of the balcony door (inside the room). Because as a person I like not to exaggerate situations, I took them out on the balcony. I know I should have reported the incident to the front desk but I thought it was random and maybe within reason, being the lodge in nature. Later that day I spot 5-6 ants on the secretary upstairs. We had no food in the room but only a small bag SEALED with dried figs. The ants had not approached the figs naturally. I catch them again and take them out on the balcony (the ants!!) and put the figs in the fridge. The next morning the ants (not a dozen) were under my head. So when I went to the receptionist, she, not knowing how to talk to an annoyed customer, and even about something like this!!!! - my husband and I could be allergic to crawling bugs, for example!! - he asked if we had left food (unacceptable! I mean in the kitchens of our houses where we have food it is acceptable for ants to run back and forth?!!!!), he said that no one else has complained about something like that and let's see what we can do doing'!!! When we returned to the room after the sea we found clean sheets and a clean room. That same night ants were walking on my head!!!!! So when I went in the morning (sleepless) to ask for a change of room, her attitude was still like falling from the clouds, she tried to excuse herself that she can't imagine where they come in, to strengthen her position she said that the maid searched thoroughly, the day before, to see where they come in but she couldn't find anything.... Only when I told her (with my full name!) that I am both an architect engineer and a housewife (both true!!!) And that the laminate on the floor it is broken in ten parts and that the balcony does not secure (it closes but does not lock) and that the ants did not appear when I arrived in the room, obviously something is pulling them and that I am not in the mood on my vacation to create tension and complain about it (hence why I didn't go straight away to complain like I should have!), she softened up a bit, STOPPING TALKING OVER ME, as she had been doing up until then -extremely rude, to say the least!!! - and somewhat changed her attitude. He moved us to a superior room (the least he could do!!!). The hotel is unfortunately abandoned. Something that starts with management. It is one of the few hotels in the area that has its own private beach and it is obvious that they do not intend to invest in the renovation

Let's start with the good first a) Right at your feet a clean pebble sea. b) my room (suite 324, 250 euros) was very spacious, clean, quiet with a huge bathroom and with a balcony whose view was awesome. c) all staff except 2 people at breakfast were very kind and willing. What stood out was the reception that fought every moment for the best. Now the bad a) UNACCEPTABLE BREAKFAST b) the pool and the surrounding area were fine but the tables and the area under the sunbeds were probably not cleaned, because the first day I went under my sunbed there were some pieces of tomato from toast and my coffee table had spilled dried coffee. The other day and since the situation was the same, I had to take water from the pool with a children's bucket and clean it myself.........I did the same thing every day,,, ,,
