The room is not soundproof, you can hear the fart next door. In addition, there are singers singing in the lobby every night. The sound is so loud and noisy until after 11 o'clock. They don't stop and you can't rest at all.
When cleaning the room, either bath towels or toothbrushes are not given. I think it is intentional, hoping that the guests will call someone to deliver them so that they can collect tips. This is also a common problem in Lanka hotels.
The hotel is a bit old, but there are no tissues or slippers in the room. What's going on?

Had a nice stay. The property is amazing . Food was amazing as well,the service was nice and staff is very corporative . Would like to come again in the future. Washrooms are pretty small so thats a little difficult to adjust but rest the services were very nice. Shamika was such a delight

Очень приятный отель, находится прямо на берегу океана. Большой выбор еды, номер убирают ежедневно. Так же на пляже прямо около отеля есть классная школа серфинга, рекомендую! Попробовал серфинг впервые, получилось встать на доску спустя 15-20 мин на первом занятии.

We have stay at the palms hotel Barwala with group of 37 friends. We enjoyed the most of the time in the pool and it was really good. The foods are nice. Environment is calm. The staff is excellent and always with the smile on there face. It was make our holiday happy. Thank you shamika recipient. We will definitely come back.

Toll angelegte Hotelanlage, leckeres verschiedenes Essen (Buffet), freundliches Personal, schöner Pool, direkte Strandlage mit sehr feinem hellem Sand. Zimmer waren schön aber ein etwas muffeliger Geruch im Zimmer, daher ein Stern abzug.

Bonnes vacances malgré déception de l’hôtel après 6 autres établissements visités dans le pays avec des prestations bien supérieures.. dommage de terminer dans cet hôtel côtier, plus grand mais vieillissant et nettement moins charmant, propre et qualitatif .. malgré tout ambiance familiale et vue piscine et plage plutôt agréable,.. alcools et nourriture avec service plus élevés que partout ailleurs au Sri Lanka.. mieux vaut acheter des souvenirs avant d’arriver dans cette station balnéaire où tous les prix sont multipliés.. surtout visiblement en dehors de la saison touristique où ils essaient d’attraper tout touriste qui passe.. profiter de votre circuit ou la nature règne et où les sri lankais sont les plus agréables.. la cote a été pour nous la partie la moins agréable du voyage, hôtel de moindre qualité et racolage.. bien sûr pas facile pour certains locaux très dépendants du tourisme.. cela dit, impossible de satisfaire tout le monde.. chacun a ses limites.. malgré tout la gentillesse des sri lankais reste un must, pays très agréable à visiter avec une faune et une flore au👍.
