Quiet, convenient and delicious

It is not recommended to stay in an old family hotel compared to professional hotels. It feels casual and scrawled. There is no response at the door. The lobby is small and depressing. The old carpets are dirty and not taken care of well. The hygiene is OK. The room is not exquisite. The air-conditioning and sound. Most importantly, both meals at the Ryotei Hotel are . The seasoning is simple and tasteless, just boiled with sugar. 1800 yuan for two meals per person is very, very not worth the 1500 yuan for Kyoritsu Group’s Jiayun. The service and meal quality are much better than this. The private room on the first floor for dinner smells of oily smoke. The order of the dishes is confusing. The breakfast lady works The staff took care of shoes and came to serve food. Based on my poor impression of the hotel, I didn't experience the hot springs. Now I'm staying at Sai no Ting. It's clean, tidy and professional. Kanazawa Tea House can't be compared to the hotel. The staff are older but very responsible, but the management is not good.

Two or three minutes away from Kanazawa Station, the service is very authentic, Japanese-style hospitality, the room is a typical hot spring hotel, the breakfast is also very rich, comfortable bath and rest, very good vacation.

Especially the Japanese grandma at dinner time, she is really kind. There is a feeling of elders in the family. Spent three very happy days here. Location: Right next to Kanazawa Station. It's great to have such a good hotel in such a good location. Facilities: Although the building has a history of a hundred years. But there is no problem with the bathroom equipment at all. The room didn't feel dated at all either. Meals: I really don't know how else to describe it other than fantastic. The food is very good every day. I feel overweight.

Difficult to note: clean, spacious and comfortable rooms with preserved ryokan style. Onsen not tested. Efforts for breakfast which is good and traditional. Negative points: welcoming staff but contradictory instructions to adapt breakfast to an allergy. It's ok at 2 p.m., finally counter-order at 6 p.m., you have to insist and it ultimately doesn't pose a problem - a frankly embarrassing moment, which is rare in Japan. Then when visiting the room: it is not configured for the night even though we arrive late, tired and we had requested it in the morning - 2nd embarrassing moment. Objectively good value for money located right next to the station but a mixed experience.

A great experience in a Ryokan, very attentive service, beds set up futton style, like in a classic Ryokan. Dinner included was wonderful. There is onsen, although we didn't have time to use it.

"Kanazawa Chaya Kappo Tsuzumi" is a restaurant in the Kagaya chain. We used it for a neighborhood association social gathering. Great for daytime drinks!! The "Lunch-only mini-kaiseki" course - 6,050 yen (tax included) includes appetizer, soup, sashimi, grilled food, simmered food, deep-fried food, rice porridge, pickles and dessert. Alcohol is a little on the pricey side. Take the underground passage from the east exit of Kanazawa Station, it's behind the Garden Hotel, less than a 5-minute walk away. If you're looking for a place to eat while sightseeing in Kanazawa, this is recommended. Chefs who lost their jobs in the Noto Peninsula earthquake and others are working hard in Kanazawa.
