This is a hotel right at the west exit of Kanazawa Station. (Convenience store is close and it leaves right in front of the bus to Komatsu Airport) The hotel is very new. To the front desk on the 3rd floor for check-in ‥‥ The front desk was usually a good response. Guard keys are required for elevators and rooms. The room is very large, the bath and toilet are normal, and the amenities and attached facilities in the room are normal. (There was also a security box) The bed was wide, the nightwear was gown, and the pillows were normal. The large communal bath and breakfast venue are on the 3rd floor, and the bath is a washroom space for about 6 people, but I was able to relax. Breakfast was also delicious with a decent number of Japanese and Western items. It was a new and convenient hotel near the station.

I knew to walk a little from the station, but I used it because it was cheap with discount just before. The room is small but it is an average business hotel including facilities. Shampoo was DHC. The outlet was away from the pillow, but there was an extension code in the room and it was convenient. Recently, there was no place to put in a business hotel, but there was also a set of dripping coffee. I also gave me 1 bottle of water at check-in. There were also some kinds of breakfast for free. However, the cafe in the breakfast venue is narrow and crowded depending on the time zone. I didn't see a woman in the building or there were many business use on weekdays, and only men.

My stay at Dormy Inn Kanazawa was almost the end of the vacation started from Nagano, Hakuba, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Kurobe Gorge. Believe me that staying at this hotel is money worth spent. Dormy Inn usually are near train station but away from noisy traffic, with nice indoor and outdoor Onsen at rooftop together with FREE Soba for supper (9.30-11pm). However, at Kanazawa only (maybe) they provide complimentary Happy Hour from 7-9pm with free flow of red & white wine, beer and party nut and cracker mix. So you probably want to stay until 9.30pm to continue with Free Soba Supper. Sounds good right? Rooms are very clean, staff are friendly. One thing I like about Dormy Inn is they have ice cube for free at the machine. So you can get cheap and nice sake or beer from stores nearby to fix your own drink. Another plus point is free usage of laundry machine and detergent. You only pay for the dryer. I highly recommend Dormy Inn to everyone visiting Japan.

I used the goto discount for a trip to Kanazawa for 3 nights and 4 days. The last time was so long ago that I don't remember much. This time, I chose a hotel near the station that is easy to understand because I came to the city from the airport by bus. This is the second route inn, and I thought the breakfast was much better than the previous Fukui route inn. I also appreciate the free coffee service. There is a large public bath on the 14th floor. I didn't use it because I was worried about Corona. It was nice to have a bathtub in the room. Since it was a one-person stay, it was a shower at another business hotel last time. There is also a bus and it is convenient for sightseeing. Considering the price it was pretty good

Fantastic hotel with spacious rooms and very friendly staff. We chose Nikko Kanazawa because of its proximity to the train station. Hotel Nikko is actually Kanazawa’s tallest building, designed by a Japanese-French team. Rooms located on 21st-25th floors have beautiful views. Nikko is connected to the Higashi ( eastern) side of the station by the underground passageway through the Porter building. Our room at the 21st floor was large, clean and modern with a fantastic view over the city towards the Sea of Japan. It was very relaxing at the end of the day to sit in arm chairs and watch the sunset. Service was excellent. We found a good restaurant on the sixth floor of the Forus shopping center adjacent to the train station (on the right if you look at the eastern entrance to the station through the giant Torii gate). The name is Morimorizushi Kanazawa Ekimae-ten (sushi), you can't miss it - there will be people on the benches waiting outside. The line goes fast, just don't forget to take your ticket at the entrance. This hi-tech kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi joint is a fantastic place for excellent sushi at reasonable price. It is only 4-5 min. from Hotel Nikko and on rainy day you can reach it by the underground passage. We liked Hotel Nikko and would stay here again.

Excellent location at 5min walk from dKanazawa station. Menya Taiga ramen shop is directly across the street and a few eating places are located along the way. The room is clean and refreshed everyday and the bath house is located in the North block at level 2. It would be excellent if the breakfast hours ends at 10 instead of 9.30AM. And three pax room is a little tight for three adult with three luggage.

There are 3 good points. 1st, the location is very good, as it was walking distance from/to most of the places I wanted to visit. It's about a ~10min walk from Kanazawa Station, so no hassle getting to the hotel when you arrive. It's about ~10-15min walk to Kanazawa Castle (金沢城) and Kenrokuen (兼六園). The Omicho Market (近江町市場) is literally right across the street, so you can easily hop over there to either start or end your day with some sushi. For the more distant places, there are nearby bus stops to get to areas like the Higashi Chaya district (ひがし茶屋街) or the museums. (Though if you prefer walking, Higashi Chaya district is still walkable at about ~15-20mins). 2nd, the room was quite spacious for a solo traveler, as compared to the typical business hotel. It has a unit-type toilet+bathroom, but it was spacious enough that you can change in there (I think it can even fit 2 people at once). The room was very clean and tidy, and since all rooms are non-smoking, the place doesn't smell funny. The room provides complete amenities like the hot water kettle, a ref, and enough sockets for charging your gear. 3rd, the breakfast buffet was delicious. The selection of both western and local japanese dishes made it worth its price. There is unlimited coffee too, which is available even outside the buffet (great for people who can't go throughout the day without coffee). The staff speaks English well, so no worries if your Japanese skills aren't that great like me. All in all, would gladly stay here again if I find myself in Kanazawa :)

I’m here now and want to write about my experience as it’s happening. I’m blown away at this property. The beauty, the people, the quiet…except for the waterfall which you hear if you’re outside. I have a balcony room. The AC is splendid! There’s a tub inside the large shower area. The shower water is a little weaker than I normally care for, but YMMV. Breakfast is a huge buffet with very nice options, all Japanese and all high quality. Both mornings, I’ve been served an amuse. Tonight I’ll try dinner for the first time here, and no doubt it’ll be delicious. If you opt out of housekeeping, they leave you a big bag of two each large towels, hand towels and bath towels. Housekeeping is as quiet as a church mouse. I arrived at the Kanazawa train station, and even though I knew that there would be a shuttle bus, and which side to exit from, I didn’t know which one was mine. This information is not on the website, so I’ll tell you that you exit on the west side, and upon exiting, turn to the right, where the group bus waiting area is. And watch for a bus that is white with an orange *****e on the front. One other word of caution. There are two hotels that are named the same. Just because you see the hotel name on the outside, that may not be yours. Do you want to be sure that the driver and the accompanying guide know that the one you want is on this particular street. It’s a really new hotel, as it’s only been open for about a year. I upgraded and got the lounge access and that’s been totally worth it! The afternoon suites are so stunningly gorgeous and there’s a cocktail hour also in the afternoon, but I think it’s really like three or four hours long. The staff speaks their English, but have your Google translate ready for words that they may not automatically know. However, I will say they are extremely eager to understand and please you. I highly recommend this hotel!!

MMaoqqThis is a treasure-level hotel that was highly praised by my girlfriends during this trip!
Location: Very close to Omi-cho, and you can walk to other Kanazawa attractions. If you choose to take the bus, there are many routes, and there are many restaurants around, which is very convenient!
Features: Free sashimi + Yakult in the morning! Free hot spring + ice cream + ramen in the evening!
Highly recommend this hotel!
Gganta503I went to Kanazawa for 10 years at work, and this time I tried to stay for the first time for one night of the regular inn. It was a good location standing in front of the station, and it was a good hotel? As a point that I personally worried about, the * parking lot is too dark. * There is no loan of air cleaner. (now any hotel) * The room is cold even if you adjust the air conditioning. * Anyway, the sound of the corridor is noisy and can be heard inside the room. (footsteps, voices) * wifi is difficult to connect. * The desk is small to open a personal computer and work. It was the part I felt. Also, why is the front desk arranged like this? It was so wide that I thought, and the staff was wasting time, and it took time to find documents to sign whether they were not ready in advance. It's too large and round, so I felt that it would be better if I could see a lot of personal information and take a little more shelf or box or something to show it clean. I didn't think it would be possible to stay at the regular inn, but I think I can stay someday.
KKush MathurLocation: very conveniently located right besides the bus stop for buses back and forth from Kanazawa station as well as other major touristy spots. But even walking wise everything including Kenrokuen garden, Kanazawa castle, the famous districts & also just 2-3 min walk to Omiya shrine
Hotel & Room standard: Elegantly classy and very contemporary rooms. Size was also pretty good and comfortable enough for 2 people for standard room. Room amenities are also very good and the Public bath at top also looks quite fancy.
Staff service: Was very very impressed with the staff service. I think everyone spoke & understood basic English to assist with any questions. Furthermore they even have great personalised hotel brochures for restaurants and spots nearby the hotel and what cuisine each offered which I found very helpful.
Overall an easy 5/5 stay
MMan KinFirst of all, I have to mention checkin. Because I didn't look at the information carefully, I arrived at Neon Hotel about 9 pm. After I didn't know how to enter. Haocai met some guests and told us before I knew that I had to go to the Hotel Kanazawa next to the train station to do Checkin first. They will give you Neon Hotel's Access code . Enter the hotel and room.
The room is clean and tidy. The space is enough for 4 of us. It is comfortable. There is a washing machine in the room to wash clothes. Very convenient.
Hotel location is a bit difficult to find, but of course, it can be found by Google map god. There is no parking lot nearby. It takes about 5 minutes to walk. The hotel is about 7 minutes from the train station. It is convenient.
GGuest UserExcited, this time the best hotel in Japan, the service is super good, must add dinner, very rich. The room opened directly to the door, and there was no smoke nearby, which was beautiful. The service staff went directly to the bus station to greet and bus worship. The facilities in the room are very complete and complete, the traffic is average, but it is in the mountains, not both.
Ootti1203We stayed 3 for a long stay on a solo trip to Kanazawa. It is about 8 minutes walk through the drum gate of Kanazawa Station. It is a guest house that renovated the old private house. It was a solo trip, so I made it a female dormitory. Shower and washroom, toilet are shared. 1 There is a kitchen on the floor, only here can eat and drink. Overall clean and full of owner's attachment. The owner's personality was the best and it was a solo trip, but it was a very cozy guest house. Whatever, the cospa is the best !! I would like to stay when I visit Kanazawa again.
GGuest UserI stayed in Nikko Kanazawa that I stayed the day before, but I stayed without a choice, but a pod type hotel that is not comparable. But the correspondence of midnight use was more than a long established hotel. I heard about Kanazawa, a nice senior at the front desk, but I wanted to go to Kanazawa's good information and to go to Kanazawa. I was taught, Nagomi and ★★★★★ I ate at a long established hotel, but compared to that, the price is less than half price, the dishes are ten times delicious, and the cozy is very good. If you give the name of the front desk, you can't get it special 🍴🈵😆 If you want to enjoy Kanazawa, it's best to ask at this hotel.
WWinWin 小豆This is the most comfortable hotel to stay in during our Christmas trip and is very cost-effective. Highly recommended👍Because I drive by car, the location is ok, there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and the hotel has a parking lot. The lobby is stylishly designed and has a sense of space. There are several common areas for guests to sit and have a drink. Free Kaga stick tea and two kinds of detox water are provided. The room is large, the bed is comfortable, the TV has YouTube, the storage space is wide, and there is a small sofa. In addition to ordinary water cups, the room also has a set of exquisite tea cups (also sold in the lobby) for making tea. The hotel has a bathhouse, and there is ice water for drinking outside the bathhouse.
いいつも笑顔さんThe location is perfect, next to Omi Market. The hotel is clean (the aroma is nice, the lobby is casual, the rooms are nice and compact, and the amenities are good). Breakfast is provided by Italian restaurant Il Chianti and is of high quality. The cost performance is definitely good. I would like to stay here again when I come to Kanazawa, and I can confidently recommend this hotel to my friends!
BBayjbBlue Hour is a nice, comfortable modern hostel about a 5 minute walk from the train station. Honestly it had some of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in Japan and my larger trip. The beds are pods too with a privacy curtain, light and mirror inside. The privacy you get is so nice. The female dorm also has a small seating area just for its guests and a small fridge for breakfast. The female dorm is also key code locked and has its own bathroom. The small grocery store in the building is a great feature too. I was here in summer and have a few items to be aware of: - There is Air Con in the dorms but it doesn’t get in to the bed pods so those can be toasty - The air con in the female area also isn’t very strong but it’s not too bad - Great WiFi speed - No laundry but laundromat nearby - This is on the third floor and there is NO lift. So the walk up with luggage is hot My only issues were that staff didn’t speak much English and gave misinformation about how to get around the city. Just go to the train station and get help there. I also had an issue with my bed but staff took care of it the next day at my request. One last thing, the dorm area can be loud, especially with suitcases knocking around and people coming in/out of the locked door. Overall, I would stay again and recommend it for a short stay.
