Staff were friendly, caring and helpful. Especially, Ashan, who was attentive and went out of his way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. Hotel room was clean and spacious. Fresh towels given each day and rooms cleaned daily. Room included the following amenities, free wifi, toiletries, safe, air conditioning, complementary bottled water. Hotel in a convenient location; 15 minutes from Kandy railway station. Nearby attractions include Kandy Lake (5 minutes -walking distance) and The temple of the sacred Tooth Relic (10 minutes -walking distance)

Excellent gastronomic experience, I accepted the recommendation of Hasun, the waiter who served me and how well I did, the dish was delicious. If you come to Kandy you should have lunch or dinner at café aroma inn, very good service and quality of food.

The hotel is perfectly placed to walk to the temple, lake and market. A 20 min walk of brief tuk tuk ride from the station. Reasonably comfortable bed with a private en-suite. The only issue was that one wall of the room is a floor to ceiling window that looks onto the hallway and lets in light from the hall until it is switched off around 11pm. So maybe ask which rooms might be best if you prefer the dark! Air con very good and warm shower.
The food is delicious, both breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast tho you have to book it the day before.

We stayed here for one night before catching the train to Ella. Very convenient location as close to the train station and the main sights in Kandy. Rooms are very basic but it does the job (although no fridge!). The staff were really lovely- special thanks to Pubusera for making it a memorable stay. The food in the hotel restaurant was nice too. Would recommend!

This hotel provides a nice breakfast but overall the room is very dated, the aircon leaked and so did the taps. We did have someone look at the aircon but were told to keep it on a higher temperature to resolve the issue but the water was not cleaned up. However, the worst thing about this hotel was the noise throughout the night, there is a sign or loose bit of cladding/roofing that constantly bangs. This is in a good location to visit the Temple of the Tooth and have a walk around Kandy. The staff were pleasant but had one person with a bit of an attitude unnecessarily.

The hotel is right in the city centre (walking distance from temple & lots of bars/restaurants/shops). Room was clean, good bathroom and very quiet (no sounds from noisy traffic and temple prayers) but it does mean you don’t have a window. Staff is helpful especially a boy called Ushanthan, who kept our rented threewheeler safe and even drove us around. Breakfast is good, restaurant downstairs is a nice place to sit because you enjoy the view of the busy street outside. Two suggestions for improvement: A) no WiFi in the rooms (only restaurant area) B) hotel kept pushing to pay every night up front. Normal procedure is to settle one’s bill upon departure so this procedure didn’t feel very hospitable.
