Schönes Hotel mit traumhafter Sicht auf die Stadt. Obwohl das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist, wirkt es gepflegt und charmant. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Bar befindet sich direkt in der Lobby, dass Innendesign wirkt neu und stylisch. Hier verbringt man gerne die Zeit mit einem Drink. Jedoch lässt das Innendesign im Speissesaal zu wünschen übrig. Das Licht ist kalt und erinnert an eine Kantine. Einziger Pluspunkt die freundlichen Mitarbeiter und das leckere Essen.

Groot hotel, de kamers zijn heel ruim en erg leuk ingericht. Het restaurant heeft een buffet, het eten is erg goed. De bediening is ook goed. Er is een mooi zwembad bij. Echt een fijn hotel. Er is hier niet beknibbeld op de ruimte. Het hotel ligt niet op loopafstand van Kandy centrum.

Dans l’ensemble bonne hotel. Piscine rénovée très bien. Salon d’accueil confortable et restaurant bon dans l’ensemble. Calme après la ville agitée. Les point négatifs. Chambres sans balcon hormis une ou deux. Pas de vue sur le lac de Kandy mais sur les montagnes. Belle vue qu’en meme. Loin du centre si vous voulez aller vous promener

One of the best city I have visited in Sri Lanka. Amazing hospitality from the hotel staff, Specially the room boys. Cultural show was unforgettable. I recommend people to visit whenever you go to Kandy. Interesting tuk tuk ride to the town. Hotel was located in a nice place. Thanks to all. Hope to see you again.

I would just like to thank the staff of Hotel Topaz for making our stay so comfortable! From the minute you enter the hotel the staff was always so friendly and always willing to take care of any questions we had. The housekeeping staff made sure our room was always spotless and they would go so far to make the bed in a different design every day. We were there for nine nights and so details like this were something we looked forward to and always put a smile on our faces. Special thank you to the restaurant staff - Supervisor Puspakumar is so attentive and made sure his staff were looking after the guests. Thank you to the waiters Kavindu, Sampath, and Malinda who took brilliant care of us. Also, Chef Ashitha's food is wonderful and breakfast is just fantastic at this hotel. A detail I would like to mention is that the pool facilities are being renovated however every detail was thought through and they gave us hotel transportation to and from a nearby hotel pool so that we did not miss out on swimming. Thank you Hotel Topaz and I so look forward to returning!

Very strange stay. Hotel location and amenities are good, property looking a bit dated but still clean and tidy. Room pretty well appointed. The vibe from the staff was…odd. We were at the mid of our tour and it’s the only hotel where virtually every staff member acted passive, indifferent. Many seemed annoyed when asked for the simplest service. This was only place in this lovely country where we felt this way, so didn’t seem to be a cultural thing. Special thanks to Michel & the team. Special thanks to Mishel & the team.

Mooi gelegen hotel, bovenop een berg met uitzicht op Kandy. De stad zelf is niet op loopafstand, maar wij vonden het juist fijn dat het hotel rustiger gelegen was. Het buffet was erg uitgebreid en ook lekker, met meer variatie dan we op andere plekken in Sri Lanka hebben gehad. Vegetarisch eten was ook erg goed aangegeven. Het zwembad was best groot, dus dat is fijn. Ook leuk met een rooftopbar en uitzicht op de stad! Fijn om bij het hotel zo buiten te kunnen zitten. Wat we wel een minpunt vonden, is het tl-licht in het restaurant en de gehorige ruimte. Ook het bed was best hard. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk!

We stayed at the Topaz Hotel for a few days while touring around Kandy, and it was an incredible experience! The check-in process was smooth, and we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. Even though the hotel wasn’t busy, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite – the views were absolutely breathtaking! The food selection was varied, and the quality was good, offering something for every taste. Although our stay was short, it was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Topaz Hotel to anyone visiting Kandy. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city with a touch of luxury. 5/5!
