Our team is extremely happy with the experience, and we were particularly impressed by the top-notch food. Hats off to Chef Debahaduwa, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort with his mouth-watering dishes. Perdu dans un écrin de verdure au milieu des montagnes, c'est un endroit magnifique avec une ambiance particulière et une conscience écologique profonde. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le buffet différent chaque jour, les activités proposé (démonstration de cuisine, massages ayurvédiques, etc.) et la piscine à côté du bar. Meilleures vacances de ma vie ^^ Incredible place in the middle of nature with a special atmosphere and a deep ecological conscience. I've really liked the food (différent everyday) the activities (cooking demonstration, ayurvedic massage, etc.) and the swimming pool near the bar. My best holidays ever !

Without doubt one of the best nature resorts I stayed during my time in Sri Lanka! Everything here was eco friendly. The staff were extremely friendly and caring, the restaurant was very flexible (appreciate this!) and the executive Chef Mr. Debehabuwa deserves a special thanks for making sure we enjoyed every meal we had. We had three great days here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The food, the green lush surroundings and the view from the villas were absolutely amazing. If you are a nature lover and need a quiet but a surreal experience with nature this is the place to be. I’d highly recommend Tree of Life if you are visiting Kandy.

No welcome drink? Once this was a great hotel but now I am not sure if it is worth it. The hotel needs some serious reformation. I enjoyed the calm and scenic look, this resort has to offer. They are maintaining the property and the surroundings alright. But the rooms need to be renovated. They are pretty old and some equipment is broken. The buffet was average and some food items tasted bad. I cannot recommend this hotel anymore for the price range.

In two shades…. Home couldn't be colder. Following a wedding in progress when we arrived, we were forced to join a dining room with closed curtains and no lights... we were forced to deplore a dirty place with non-existent service. The room received dirty and dilapidated. (for a family suite, our child was given a small rusty bed with a 3 cm thick mattress. Dirty bathroom, torn paint, etc.) After expressing our great astonishment and disappointment, because we had not Didn't see this type of service when booking, the staff understood us and gave us a completely different room. Large, clean, comfortable bedding, nice quality materials in short… as if it wasn’t the same hotel! Please note, however, that the catering is not the strong point...cold food.

We travelled with a tour ( mercury holidays) group stopping here for two nights. Buffet style food was tasty and enjoyed by all. Rooms spacious with large bathrooms, tea/ coffee/ water . Our air conditioning unit was not very efficient but it wasn’t too hot. Staff friendly, drinks reasonable price( as we found in most places) service is sometimes slow but always with a smile. If you have dietary needs you’ll need to check ahead - not too many labels- it’s fairly obvious if it’s vegetarian, not so obvious for vegan. Tea and coffee is usually served with hot milk.
