We were a party of 9 including 2 small children, and booked both this lower and upper bungalows. The Bungaalows: the photos do not do this place justice. Not even close. When we first walked in we were all WOW!!! The upper bungalow is the bigger, with the pool adjacent. It is beautifully furnished in muted colours in rich fabrics, with mahogany wood adding elegant touches throughout. Both bungalows speak classy opulence and comfort, with the mahogany theme continued in the lower bungalow, which is also decorated with care and elegance. Both bungalows have kitchen facilities with coffee making facilities, microwaves and fridges. The gardens are immaculate and very well cared for. Gorgeous flowers and well kept laws, all set among mature trees which make the whole place feel like a tropical paradise. The view onto Kandy and the mountains from the upper bungalow is stunning. The pool is small but perfect for lounging and dipping in, as well as have a little swim. Poolside is beautifully furnished with chairs and tables so in hot weather, can spend a good day here. The Staff: there are not enough words to praise Prasanna and Suranga who looked after us during our stay. Not only were they warm and welcoming, no request was too much for them and the table was set so very beautifully for every mean we had in the bungalows. They even helped with laundry and ironing - not letting us lift a finger. We were treated like royalty and really spoiled us all. The Little ones made fast friends with them too and they were so kind and accommodating to the high noise levels and kids' demands. They even showed my husband the picking and cutting of a newly ripe jack fruit! Always close by but never intrusive, we cannot thank Suranga and Prasana enough for what they did for us during our stay. The Food: we had most of our food in the upper bungalow as this had the biggest living space of the two, and each meal was a delight. We were on B&B basis and every breakfast was a feast, with cakes and pastries added as standard, and cooked breakfasts provided as requested. Lunch and dinner was of the same high standard, with Suranga and Prasanna setting everything out so beautifully, and everything cleared away amd tidied, ready for the next meal. It was really lovely to be able to dine as a family especially with little children, and take our time. The food was brought from the hotel but was piping hot every time. We also dined at the hotel which had a shuttle service to bring us from and to the bungalow although the walk there is pretty short. You can also have drinks from the menu but also have your own as you wish. Verdict: this is the most wonderful place to stay and holiday to experience especially if you are in a group. You can book a room separately but probably preferable to have a whole bungalow to yourselves. It isn't cheap (especially if you'ro not paying local rates) but it is totally worth the price for the place, the way you are treated and every
