Loved the experience here. Would definitely recommend this hotel to tourists who are visiting Kandy for the first time. We were given varieties of food for both breakfast and dinner. Also personally i got to enjoy my breakfast with a beautiful river view. The hospitality was wonderful as well. Thank you Oak ray for the wonderful stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. Sitting in the lobby and around the swimming pool is very comfortable, you can be in a daze all day long! The surrounding environment is very good. There is a lake next to the hotel and a small hill opposite. Wake up in the morning and listen to the birds singing, by the way, there are many crows here😄

W15 Hanthana Estate is literally a dream property! Perched on the mountains overlooking Kandy, the property occupies an old heritage bungalow that was entirely restored and transformed into a chic boutique hotel of 10 rooms. The atmosphere is incredibly special and the views are literally magical. The place is breathtaking! Views, grounds, architecture, details, food: all incredible. Our room was very spacious with an open bathrooms, 4 poster bed and private patio, well appointed details and THE MOST COMFORTABLE bed you can dream of. The mattress was the most comfortable we encountered during our stay in Sri Lanka and the 800TC sheets were so memorable that we tried to buy a set in Colombo! Sherif and his team were incredibly attentive and patient with us. Sherif is wonderful host and went out of his way to accommodate every one of our needs, making us feel incredibly welcome. He was exceptionally professional and kind, offered us a wonderful stay. We could not thank him enough! The food was impressive and the highest quality. Would go back in heartbeat!

This hotel is on the mountain. There are many hotels on the mountain in Kandy. The road is very narrow. The driver took the wrong turn several times at night and finally arrived. The welcome candy at the door was not very tasty. We arrived too late and the children were exhausted. We didn't pay much attention to the room, but it was quite clean and the price was very affordable. The breakfast the next day was also rich in variety. There were many crows outside. We took breakfast and ate it outside. The crows came and took away a piece of bread. We were shocked.

The reserved room bedroom has a loft that can sleep 3-4 people. The public areas and rooms are well decorated and maintained. The location is not far from the city center, but close to the road and railway. It is noisy at other times except at night. The hot water switch was hidden in the closet and was not turned on when checking in. There were no additional instructions. The front desk got off work at 10pm and could not be contacted, so I had to take a cold shower. There was a small gecko in the bathtub. Except for the soup, dinner was pretty unpalatable. The two types of fish I ordered were overcooked, dry, bitter, and maybe burnt. When I first checked in at 2 pm, I wanted to have laundry delivered to me. I was told that if I picked it up before departure the next morning, there would be an additional fee. However, I checked into another hotel of the same brand the day before and had laundry delivered at 10 pm the next morning before checking out. Washing, drying and ironing are done for free. What’s also strange is that the front desk helps you fill out the satisfaction survey feedback when leaving the store and asks you to sign it, while the previous one asked you to fill it out realistically. When you see the high score, you are also asked to provide suggestions for improvement. The difference in service awareness is evident.

The hotel itself and its facilities are fantastic. The rooms are nice and the food is absolutely superb. Unfortunately the service in the restaurant was really poor, which made this stay absolutely unpleasant. We were given dirty table cloths (and they didn’t want to replace it after asking for it), our table was given to someone else while we were at the buffet, we had to order drinks several times until finally served, we were given the bill to sign while still eating the main dish (not even dessert) and actually wanted to order more drinks, after being seated, we had to wait min 10 min to place orders for drinks or get silverware etc. From a 5* hotel we definitely expected something better. This is the only hotel during our trip, where we experienced bad service. which is a pity, as otherwise the hotel is really nice. We would not book it again.

Our stay at the Jetwing Kandy Gallery was truly delightful. The hotel is beautifully located beside the river, offering a calm and natural atmosphere that makes for a perfect getaway. Our butler, Sakuna, provided exceptional service, attending to our every need and ensuring we had a comfortable stay. We were also pleased to meet the General Manager, Mr. Dilip Kumar, who personally reached out to us and made our stay even more memorable. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfast offered a great selection of delicious items. The Kandy Gallery Suite we stayed in was spacious and luxurious, featuring a large jacuzzi that added an extra touch of relaxation. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The swimming pool also offered a beautiful view, overlooking the serene Mahaweli River. Overall, Jetwing Kandy Gallery is a wonderful retreat with excellent service and a picturesque setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature in Kandy.

This hotel is not in Kandy. It takes about an hour and a half to drive from downtown Kandy, and it is all rugged and narrow mountain roads. It seems that our drivers are accustomed to driving this kind of road, but we think that the next mountain is very troublesome, so no It is recommended that you need to go out frequently to choose this one. In addition to the location is a bit far away, the other aspects are really good to say nothing, watching the sunrise in bed early in the morning, watching the rolling mountains while swimming, and the sky and stars at night, children like it! The restaurant here is not bad, there is even a small bar to order wine, but the price is very similar to the domestic, not as cheap as the food and beverage prices in Sri Lanka. In addition, mosquitoes in the tent are unavoidable. Be sure to put down the gauze when you sleep, and spray some mosquito repellent liquid.
