Hotels near Navya Stores, Poothakundu, Kannur

Stayed here for 24 hrs while visiting the mrudangashayleswari temple. About 10 mins drive from the r temple. Very neat and spacious rooms and bathrooms, excellent service (noble was the person who took care of the room service), tasty food. The staff was very courteous and prompt on any requests. The bathrooms had all the accessories including a dental kit (very rarely do you see this even in high profile places. Such a high quality accommodation not at all expected in a place like where the hotel is located. Pleasantly surprised!

We have travel-led from bangalore to our native place, where we had to take a break at irritty, checked at surya hotel and to be precise they have excellent rooms and great hospitality by the staffs. Food was good, well managed and well served. I highly recommend this hotel to my friends amd relatives.

This Hotel has a super friendly reception desk. The charming ladies are unusually helpful and very attentive. We appreciated that a lot. Another strong point in favor of the Hotel is the nice garden. You can enjoy a cool Kingfisher beer there, but unfortunately not everyday. On certain days they are not allowed to serve alcohol. There is a restaurant inside, but we found it more enjoyable to eat outdoors. Service is quick and the food we had was ok but nothing special. Our room was clean and big enough. Since the Hotel has been refurbished recently, everything was in excellent condition - we particularly liked the well kept woodwork. We will keep a fond memory of the Surya Heritage Hotel and it’s friendly personnel.

Hoe l ambiance is good and fresh. Underground parking. Very near to kannur centre and ksrtc bus stand. Staff response is good. Neat rooms & toilet facility is also good. Hot water available. Size of the room is enough. No restaurant with this property. Overall good for family stay.

Stay was ok. Clean rooms. But bit old property. For the price i got the rooms it was nice. Went without much expectations.

Kannur has always been close to my heart for multiple reasons... people, nature, proximity to everything and now good stay... Recently stayed at Royal Omars on station road for 5 days... the location, the quality of the room and the service was very good... it did not have to buzz of a rushed place... a pretty good breakfast... clean rooms... efficient service....

Beware of this shady hotel!! My gold & money was stolen from room 311 while I was asleep in the room around midnight on 20/11/19. I've lodged an FIR in Kannur Town Police Station. ISSUES: Damp, smelly & unsafe rooms. Cameras in the gallery DO NOT work. High tarrifs. AC not effective. Dirty linen & towel. Phone in the room do not work. Suffocating tiny lifts. What makes things WORSE – Rude & unsympathetic hotel staff didn't even feel sorry or visit the Police Station with us for reporting the case (after all the robbery took place on their property). In fact, the cunning, arrogant & non-courteous staff that tries to THREATEN me. Icing on the cake: I confronted the MD to discuss the issues, he was only interested in his money. In fact, he tried to offer 50% discount on stay if I removed the online review (from Goibibo). I’d already paid advance Rs.5000 & lost gold + cash worth much more than that, why would I remove the review? I want the whole world to know this is the most unsafe place to spend a night. Had I seen the place before, I’d never had made this mistake of booking this. I haven't seen a worse hotel than this having traveled frequently to various places and stayed at various hotels. If there was an award for the worst Hotel, hands down, they’ll win it!
