I really enjoyed my stay at this brand new hotel. Although it has been open for a couple of months, they have kept everything spotless. The lobby with open fire is beautiful and a comfortable area to have a drink and relax. The room itself was also incredibly clean and everything worked well including the WiFi. The hanten jackets were in the colours of the Ukranian flag which was a nice touch. The breakfast was good, as was the restaurant in the evening. The public bath was a nice place to soak after dinner. Service was good although it's clear the team was new and still training - I am sure this will change in time. Small criticim is there was no room service menu in the room. This was fine as it was on the TV but navigating to the menu needed Japanese skills. The architecture and general design is fantastic, as are the fittings and the carpets are just beautiful - same as all new IHG properties I think.

The room is not small, clean and tidy, the bed is large, and the facilities are complete. The surrounding environment is like a natural park. It is a bit far from the JR station, less than three kilometers. There are convenience stores, barbecue restaurants and steakhouses around, and the inner and outer ring bus stops are not far away. However, there is only one bus every hour, so you have to plan your trip on time. The overall feeling of accommodation is good, and the breakfast is also OK.

West side was around 10 min walk from the outlet mall and took us nearly 30 mins to walk (with a kid) to the East Side Snow Park. Room was just okay for its price - lobby looks better and newer than the room which was a bit old fashioned, yellowish (without a full mirror too) and not spacious.
We drove there. For this price point, we would try other hotels next time, like Hilton in the area, given we need to walk a long way from West Side to everywhere, even to the hotel lobby and car park.

We stayed here for 2 nights straight from Narita. It was easy enough to navigate from the station with 2 big suitcases and 2 small children at night. It was relatively close to 2 convenience stores so we could easily stock up on supplies. We booked the family room but I was a bit disappointed that whilst there was a separate tatami area meant for the kids there was no bedding to speak of. Even pillows or blankets. So they squeezed in with us in the beds. Otherwise the room itself was nice and compact but not too cramped due to the additional tatami area. The bath tub was a nice touch and well enjoyed by the kids. The breakfast spread was small but delicious. There was a games time in the evenings where there was sometimes popcorn or other snacks and drinks available. The staff were very helpful and friendly with sightseeing options and bus schedules despite their limited English. We felt very welcomed here.

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Karuizawa station. Take the north exit on the bridge/walkway after coming up from Shinkansen platform, it's the left. There's a tourist info with helpful people at the end of the corridor, and an escalator next to it. Once you come out, with your back to the station, walk straight down the road, and take left at the first traffic light, near the Shell station. The hotel is opposite Family Mart. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was generous-sized with an ante-room which has a fridge, some storage cupboards and the main room is nice and big with a good-sized bed. They provide 2 bottles of water. You can take day trips to Naka Karuizawa, Shiraiito Falls among other destinations using the bus service outside the station. It's a lot easier if you have Suica card or you will need to carry many 1000 yen notes. On the way back you can you can stop off at Kyu Karuizawa and walk the streets of Old Ginza. It can also be reached by foot, takes about 25-30 minutes.

We stayed at this hotel recently and really appreciated the stay. The stay actually started off bumpy with some misunderstanding of our reservation that had us cramped into a small room with no possibility of adding a roll-away. The young woman who checked us in said there was nothing she could do, so we took her for her word and proceeded to our room. When we got to our room, we realized that we would end up with a disastrous stay contrary to what we were expecting--a wonderful and serene one--as the room was way too small. When the bell person (Rajesh) brought our luggage, we informed him, that the room would not work for our family of four. Though it was not his responsibility per se, Rajesh immediately went to work to seek out any other options we could have to accompany us and, long story short, he helped us stay in a bigger room that was more appropriate--though considered a downgrade. The fact that a bell person would go out of his realm of responsibility to meet our needs was truly appreciated allowing us all to fully enjoy our stay. We ended up having dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant and fully appreciated the friendliness and service of the restaurant staff as well as the healthy, delicious, and local foods that were served. There is no doubt we would return to stay there again thanks to Rajesh and his excellent customer service!

One of the hotels I don't want to teach a few of them. I renovated the place where it was the original 々 store and was in the hotel, but I had a good sense and stayed in New York well, but I feel like I remind you of that time. The size is sufficient and the amenities are substantial. The Japanese room I stayed in also has floor heating, so comfortable and so reasonable hotel is the first time. Usually stay in a foreign hotel chain, but it doesn't pull at all. The staff is also very friendly and polite. I would like to come again.
The Karuizawa Nichifuko Hotel, hidden in the green forest, the Loft villas and the ocean room skillfully blend to create an unparalleled holiday experience. Here, away from the hustle and bustle, enjoy peace and relaxation, let the soul get a complete rest and sublimation. Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and find a home for your soul at the Karuizawa Nichifuzhuang Hotel.

Two adults and five children (13,11,9,5,0 age) A total of 7 people stayed in 2 rooms. I was planning to just sleep on the way to my destination, so the price was given priority first. After making a reservation, it seems that the radio waves are difficult to reach and difficult to understand, so I received a polite contact from the person in charge several times. (It seems accurate if it is Google Maps.) The arrival time was close to 22:00, but the person in charge was waiting for me to illuminate the surrounding area with the car light, so I was able to check in smoothly. (Since there are several accommodation facilities, it seems that they were waiting in the accommodation building instead of the building with the front desk.) Both rooms are 2DK and the water area is organized. [ Toilet 、 Washroom 、 Dressing room + Bathroom ] Depending on people, it may be difficult to calm down and add. The bedroom is a king-sized bedroom + Japanese-style room. I was surprised in a very beautiful room. While I'm spending time, I can see the oldness of the building itself with Dan 々, but considering the cost performance, it falls into a slug. Wi-Fi (prepared) + Radio waves are always the weakest as facilities. It is easier to pick up radio waves when you go out outdoors. I didn't care because I was just sleeping this time, but I don't have a TV, so I hope that the Wi-Fi environment will be at least arranged 🙏 (because you can spend in a very quiet environment, you can hit digital detox) In addition, bath towels 、 face towels are provided with amenities, but they are quite fluffy, so if you are interested, we recommend that you bring them with you.
It is a very reasonable and perfect facility for staying without meals and long-term stays. I would like to use it next time.
[Bathroom installation] Shampoo, conditioner, body soap of POLA ”SHOWER BREAK” series [Washing basin installation] Foam soap brush 、 Kushi 、 Cotton + Cotton Swab + Hair Rubber Set 、 Shaving
[Kitchen] There is no hot water heater, microwave oven, freezer + refrigerator, stove (kitchen tools such as frying pans, pots, dishwasher 、 sponge. Coffee cup 、 Yuzu 、 Kyusu was prepared .)
〈 Aside 〉 Neighboring gas stations close early, so we recommend refueling with plenty of room.

It's been 9 years since I visited here. The good thing about this hotel is that the room was very large, very private, very relaxing, and I had a meaningful time. This time, I didn't eat at the buffet venue because I was in the corona, so I took it back to my room and ate. I think this was good because I was able to eat while watching TV in the room, and I didn't worry about infection. Is the bath flowing directly from the source? I don't know, but I think it was very good. The negative point is that the Wi-Fi in the room is now cut off in the middle of the pass, and even if it is connected, the speed is slow and useless. 9 I visited for the first time in a year, but the previous Vikings were very satisfied with the number of items, but this time there were not many items, and it was very disappointing that it was the same every day. However, the hotel life with a lot of private feeling is the best. I will use it again next time.

Perfect
MMeiwaI come to Karuizawa every year. This time I chose Mori Four Seasons Villa Hotel for two nights and I was very satisfied. The room is very tidy, the wooden floors are spotless (I don't really like carpets in hotels, they always feel unclean, I prefer floors that look clean, but unfortunately most hotels have carpets), and the kitchen and bathroom seem to be new. The dyson hair dryer and le labo bathroom supplies are top-notch. The most comfortable thing is the bedding. I don’t know why it is so soft and comfortable, full of enveloping feeling, but not hot. It feels like it is breathing close to the body. After asking the boss, I found out that it is a double-layer cotton yarn made by hand using traditional Japanese processes. The cost is very high. It's high, that's why it's so comfortable. I've already asked for the brand information and placed an order in the store, haha. The furniture and decoration in the room are in line with my taste, Nordic fusion Japanese modern style. It was an early spring night and it was still a bit cold in Karuizawa. It was the first time for the children to experience the stove in the room. The flames were very beautiful and the room warmed up in no time. We had dinner next to the nearby Hoshino Onsen on the first night, and had a BBQ bonfire in the yard on the second night. The children were very happy. The building we live in has a large yard and an outdoor wooden floor terrace. Sitting on the outdoor terrace, we look at the scenery of the forest in the yard, Karuizawa in spring, the air and night are so comfortable. The hotel also has employees cleaning the rooms every day at noon. The boss can communicate in Chinese without any barriers. Karuizawa is really suitable for vacation. The experience of the villa hotel is completely different from the ordinary hotels in the past. I like it very much. I will try it when I come back in a different season next time. The owner's wood fired restaurant.
TTrip805673It is easy to understand because it is close to Karuizawa Station and is located on the main street. However, it is difficult to understand the entrance of the hotel, but I wondered if I should enter from the restaurant. Only standard double rooms are available for dogs. It's pretty narrow. It feels like a stylish business hotel. The bed is comfortable. There is a large dog gauge toilet sheet and a butt wipe. The bathroom and toilet are in the same room, but they are large. I was interested in the toilet. Should I remove the toilet seat when cleaning? The amenities were in a cute cloth bag for two people, but there was no toothbrush in one cloth bag. There are 2 bottles of mineral water in the wine cellar. It's a pity that there is no pot. It would be nice to have a water server that can produce hot water without a pot. There are 2 coin laundry machines. Ice maker, juice and alcohol are sold by themselves. The restaurant is delicious, but the amount of dinner and morning is large, and the contents are covered, so it seems that you will get tired of staying for consecutive nights or using it frequently ... The taste is strong (good compatibility with alcohol) Even for people with small children I was there, but maybe my kids aren't likely to eat it. Dessert also has an adult taste. The restaurant is very cold near the entrance and on the window side and requires a coat. All the staff are kind. It is cheap considering the food and convenience for the price. Especially recommended for those who want to enjoy the whole of Karuizawa and enjoy Spanish cuisine. I want to use it again.
GGuest UserI like this hotel so much. It is a family villa for business. The operators should be a young couple, who are considerate and polite. The breakfast is also delicious. The only bad thing is that it is a little far away from the main attractions, but this hotel can help rent bicycles for 1,000 yen a day, which is very comfortable.
GGuest UserThis was the only English-run hotel we stayed at during our 4 week trip. Stayed for 2 nights. We're English, but even we thought it was eccentric - in a good way! Chris was really helpful beforehand, met us at the station, and then gave us loads of advice and info during our stay, took us places up in the hills so we could walk back, etc. etc. The basics: The rooms were comfortable, spotlessly clean, the food was excellent, interesting decor, great British music and chat ( with some AC/DC from the Aussie chef). Plus: Chef made home-made jaffa cakes which were the best you'll ever have. Turtle Doves on the bird table. All felt very relaxed and easy - just what we needed after our 8 hour shinkansen journey from Hokkaido. Thoroughly recommended
GGuest UserI originally wanted to buy a wooden house in Xizizi, but the price doubled on Friday. So I booked this cabin with the same price on Friday and Thursday. It was already dark when we arrived at Karuizawa at around 5 o'clock. I followed the navigation guide and walked 1.4km. The first half of the journey was in the outlet shopping street and it was okay to walk around. The second half of the journey also passed through an express highway, then went up the mountain road and walked to the navigation office. I couldn’t find the store and there was no one there😹 because there was only a Japanese brand. At the end the shop owner came out. The cabin is very warm, has kitchen equipment (you should buy some food), and has a hot spring to soak in. The view is great when you wake up in the morning.
EEng KiatDesign hotel space is a nice gem. It was a cold winter when we were there. The hotel feels like a warehouse converted into 2 levels. The ceiling in the toilet is not tall. One thing i liked about the hotel is the heater. It is strong and makes the room comfortable at 1 degree outside the hotel. It is about 10 mins walk from the outlet shopping mall. One advice is to finish your shopping in the outlet before the sky turns dark. Reason is because there are no lighting (pitch dark) when we were walking along the street to the hotel. Will definitely stay again if I am at karuizawa with the affordable price and comfortable room.
AAnonymous UserThe property is very charming and the photos shown are true to actual. Location is a bit far from the station so best to arrange the shuttle bus service or take a cab.
Room is neat and cosy and the private onsen is a nice bonus.
Breakfast is lovely and the fresh vegetables were amazing however the dinner was a let down as it wasn’t served in the restaurant. Instead we were provided with a voucher for redemption at the bar. The food is just average, beef was not very fresh, and your clothes and hair reek of smell after dinner as they cook the food right at the bar.
PPanguinThe town is known for being chic as it counts celebrities, artists, actors and musicians as its residents. The hotel is in that line. The entrance itself is somewhat muted in tone. But staff are warm and friendly. They helped carry our luggage to the second floor annexe (which still has no elevator) and then back down when we checked out. The room was the most spacious (ok, we were upgraded) and it had a humifier. Toiletries were good quality. The restaurant itself is a good French one. It's too bad we could not sample it but we had a taste of it at breakfast. The pastries were so good we ended up asking for more croissant and bread. I learnt later that many of its cooks have gone on to be chefs all over Japan. There is a small gift shop of some jams and honey made on the hotel grounds. Yes, highly recommended.
MMi55yLovely hotel and staff are really helpful. The location is a bit far from the JR station as we were walking to the hotel with the luggages so the bumpy roads is not really ideal. Would advice to take a taxi 🤣
Breakfast and spa was great and if you enjoy the peace and quiet then I would recommend this place.
11122maryIt is a 15-minute walk from Karuizawa Station. The room is large and the tatami is very comfortable to sleep on😌
The hotel has a bicycle rental service, which charges 1100/day by the hour or the whole day. It seems that there are no electric bicycles. I went to Hoshino Resorts and the Plateau Church. For uphill and downhill trips, it is best to choose electric bicycles.
There is no bathroom in the room, so you need to go to the large bathroom to take a shower
All in all, it’s not a bad choice if you come to Karuizawa.
