There are very few Chinese here, most Europeans. It is very big and beautiful. The rooms are also very large. There are balconies and bathtubs. The decoration style is very modern. There are more than a dozen houses without elevators. They are like a scenic spot, in fact they are. In this way, you should bring a bracelet after you come in. The facilities in the hotel and the swimming pool can be used. All meals are included, and unlimited drinks and beverages are included. It is a good place for leisure and vacation.

All are great in Riu palace starting to introduce animation team in Riu palace are fabolous and expectation Jamal and his Team Provided nice services we joined his aqua gym it was so great Food is delicious with good taste especially sea food and African Traditional food was so great, you will not regreat to choose Riu palace Thirsty is our favourite one is Location is so great with perfect views, nice gardens 🍓🌴🌴🌴🥰 and our check in it was so quickly don‘t try to waste Riu as a bad hotel never and It will not be that we stayed for 2 weeks and we know manything about Riu palace of Zanzibar and we are sure this is the best one hotel in Africa I would like to recommend Hamad and Dijana for their great service and we will back for sure Our paradise

5 stars for the location, barely 4 for the rest. Beautiful looking hotel, good location, wonderful swimming pool, nice pier and the little islets for the rooms are quite nice. For the rooms it's another story, it may have been a 5 star 10 years ago but not today. Furniture stained and user, ditto for bedding, average cleanliness. Overall it deserves a major renovation to regain 5 stars. We had to ask to change rooms… Average but correct food, a big plus for the Jetty restaurant whose dishes are simply excellent. In short, in summary the value for money is very average, if you have this kind of budget, take another 5 *, otherwise pay less and take a nice 4 * at half price.

Everything from beginning to the end was positive in our opinion. We were very excited for visiting the hotel in our 3 weeks trip around the island, and it was all superb: registration, lobby, views, swimming pool, garden, room … everything!!! But staff was even much better. There is a lot of people in the place and didn´t get to know all of them, but everyone’s attitude was always in a good mode. Jambooo !! Mr. Abdul ‘s welcome was excellent on arrival. He was very nice and charming, calm and helpful with the information about the hotel facilities. Mr. Abdillahi took us to our room with the golf cart, so nice person, helping with our heavy cases and showing all the items in our room. Thank you so much. Breakfast and restaurant staff was always nice, same as garden and swimming pool employees. Live music at dinner time was a great moment too. Thank you also to housekeeping, our room was in a perfect condition every day. And at the end, Simai and Hamidi, both bellboys were very nice and funny with us. Also, a special mention to front office manager, Mr. Javier Gonzalez, we experienced amazing customer service from him. Thank you very much to the whole team. We would really come back and will definitely recommend the place. Ahsante sana !!!!!

It was a great trip, especially with a few good friends. Although there was no opposite sex, it did not affect our enjoyment of life and emotional release! The hotel is really perfect, with complete facilities, pleasant environment, and all three meals in the restaurant are well arranged. It was also a romantic party... Walking along the white beach in the morning and evening, riding a motorboat with the sunset... Perfect! Next time, I can really bring my family to Sang Island for a trip. It is hospitable and the scenery is pleasant! If you don't want to step on the pit of the hotel, come here!

Tui Blue Bahari is 5*+ There is space, good food, great private beaches, 5 restaurants, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. There were more sunbeds than guests when we stayed and towels are available poolside. There are bars in the garden, by the beach and at the pool, which are all manned with waiters and bar staff who are happy and efficient. The hotel has security and a private beach and the local tour sellers wait at the beach for you to engage. If you walk straight into the sea from the resort you'll find starfish, urchins and Dory fish. The room door we had wouldn't lock with a firm push and a couple times after the cleaners had been it was unlocked. Overall though 9.5/10 I'd recommend for any special occasion, or for those who want to safari in Tanzania, or swim with dolphins in Mnemba.

Luxurious hotel with a gorgeous beach. Very tasty food and drinks, wonderful restaurants, wonderful service, the staff tries their best to please. The most pleasant experience! I want to come back! I recommend to everyone!

After just over a week of traveling around Tanzania, my family and I spent four nights at LUX Marijani. The grounds and resort spaces were immaculate, as was my room. The staff were all incredibly kind and careful, including management who personally introduced themselves to us the first couple of days we were there. 
 We really enjoyed the buffet service and felt that there was a wonderful selection of East African food as well as options not traditional to Tanzania too. Being from the United States, the service the few times I ordered a drink al a carte was just a bit slower than what I’m used to. However, I didn’t mind at all, and in fact loved that I could really take my time at the restaurant. There was nowhere I needed to be, and it was nice to not have to rush through my day. The desserts were also exceptional and we were so glad to get to know Desi, the pastry chef. It’s evident just how much he cares about his work and getting to know guests as well. The entertainment at dinner was always exciting, and it was a fun added touch to an already marvelous experience. My sister and her boyfriend and I loved getting involved in beach volleyball, and had an even better time getting to know Abdul, who does such a good job organizing it. He really became a friend by the time we left. At the end of our stay, we also got to know Raphael, who was a lot fun to talk to. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the beach itself isn’t as relaxing as you might expect with local vendors practically lining up to sell you souvenirs or services. It’s nothing against LUX, as we’d have the same experience on any beachfront hotel or resort in Zanzibar but it’s certainly something to be aware of when planning your visit. Still, the lounge chairs set up on the sand overlooking the crystal clear ocean are pleasant and perfectly quiet. We found ourselves spending hours by the pool—between how lovely the weather was and how well kept the facilities are, it’s easy to lose track of time there. It was an absolutely unforgettable stay at a quality I don’t think I’ll find anywhere else. I was sad to leave, and truly miss the people there, but am so excited to go back again.

We spent 5 nights at Zuri Zanzibar and by the end, definitely did not want to leave! The team at Zuri made extra effort to ensure our Honeymoon trip was made special and for that we cannot thank them enough. From the reception staff right through to the grounds people and restaurant / bar services, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Bora who was very warm and really did go above and beyond, making us feel like family. For us personally, the hotel itself strikes a great balance between relaxation and ”party”. Compared to some of the hotels next door, the hotel is very quiet but still offers some great evening entertainment. A special mention to the duo guitarists who played on the evening of the 4th-Sep who were extremely talented. We were not too bothered by the vendors who would approach you as you b-line for the waters as they, although were very persistent, were always very friendly. In any case, security presence along the beach front did make us feel comfortable. Foods options were fantastic and not too repetitive, offering different themes each night at the main restaurant. We also were able to experience the Bahari beach dinner one evening which we highly recommend. Thank you again to the entire team at Zuri for making this trip extra special for us. We certainly will be visiting again!
