This is my first time staying at a self-service hotel. The experience was very good. The room was very clean, there was a kitchen, the tableware was complete and cleaned, and it was placed in the cabinet drawer under the stove. Oil and salt are available. The dishes are in the cabinet above, enough for three people. The sponge and detergent for washing dishes are on the edge of the pool. There is a microwave and a refrigerator. The bathroom was bright and clean, Germany was dry, the towels in the bathroom were there, and they were dry at night. The hotel is located in the city center and the traffic at the door is very convenient. We took the bus to William Highland Park. Next to the hotel is the supermarket, it is very convenient to buy some daily necessities. This hotel is suitable for free travellers in Germany.

The location is very good, beside the train station, very close to the shopping mall City Point, and very close to the Municipal Plaza. It is very convenient to stay in the hotel. It is not recommended to buy breakfast at the hotel. Chinese people may not be comfortable with it, except that it is salty or salty. The accommodation environment is okay, don't have high expectations in a small city like Kassel, this one is pretty good. There is a Shandong restaurant 300m away from the hotel, which can be found on the public comment, and the taste is not bad. It is a good choice for missing Chinese food!

We stayed at this hotel 5 years ago, funky old building (the outlook east), but all the amenities: good bed, large room, great lobby, evening snack included, even a pool table. Well it's all gone, the mattress is beat, the bed frame makes noise, the room full of dust. I ended up putting the mattress on the floor and choked all night. They removed the frig from the rooms. There is no air conditioning, the street noise is serious. They have closed the lobby, no more evening snack, no place to hang out. The breakfast that was once ample and very good is now white bread, corn flakes and dried out scrambled eggs. The reception people are nice but no help, they struggle with any language other than German. $200 a night for what amounts to a dump. Avoid this place you can find better in Kassel for less than half the price.

The hotel is in the middle of Kassel (Köningsplatz) and 10 minutes walk to the Documenta fifteen centre ruruHaus , Fridericianum museum and Documenta halle. Trams and busses nearby to all places. Friendly personal. The breakfast room was large and the breakfast buffet was very well a good start for exploring Kassel with all sort of bread, serials, fruit, drinks, coffee and sprudel wasser. My room was in the new part of the hotel. It had everything one can expect and – as an elderly person – i liked to have a shower. So that I do not have to climb into a bath to take a shower. I liked it also very much that I could dim the lights in the room and bathroom. And also that I could open the doors to the French balcony to let the fresh air in. Diner tip Go to ”al fiume”, italian restaurant at the Fulda. Excellent Italian food.

We dont have anything negative to say about the hotel. Everything was working very well. The hotel is relatively new and well maintained. Service in the reception is good and all of the facilities are working as they should. Absolutely no issues on that part and considering the price, then it is an absolute bargain. We also visited the restaurant at the hotel and that was on the other hand a disaster. It was quite booked on the day we visited, because of some corporate event. This resulted in the waitress being a bit stressed, but it was still handled very badly. We waited half an hour to get the menu. After that we was informed that some of the courses couldnt be served, because they were out of different things, but we got an option to order one burger, which was not served on the homemade bread that normally was served, but on some cheap bun from the supermarket. Considering Covid-19 we also observed that menu's were just delivered from one occapied table to another - without any cleaning - and after we had observed that one guest had been licking their fingers between every side swap in the menu. Disgusting and in the current covid situation absolutely not acceptable. In total. 5 star for the hotel. 1 star for the restaurant. Would happily go back to visit hotel, but the restaurant visit was not acceptable.

Lots of reviews regarding bad cleaning. We got a room that hadn't been cleaned at all. The receptionist was very nice and gave us an ”upgrade” (pretty much the same room, on a higher floor). The new room had old soap residues on the wall and the toilet hadn't been cleaned. Cleaning sucks. The service is good and staff is very nice. They always greet you and are very sweet and helpful. We came after the kitchen had closed, but still got to order food.

We had booked a suite and a room and wanted to have a bed for the baby, guess in which accommodation we found the small bed? In the double room, of course, despite the huge surface available in the suite; this is not invented. We had booked a night to be stayed and fed after 500 km of motorway. Ein Familienwochenende in einem sehr schönen Hotel. Das Hotel liegt etwa 20 Minunten zu Fuß von der Innenstadt / Fußgängerzone entfernt. Das Gebäude ist erkennbar ein Neubau, mit allen damit verbundenen guten Materialien und Ausführungen. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, genauso wie das Bad, in dem allerdings -wie heute fast überall- mehr Wandhaken günstig wären. Der Frühstücksbereich ist sehr geschmacksvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung. Allerdings wird sehr viel in kleinen Einmalverpackung am Buffet angeboten, was aktuell äußerst negativ auffällt. Im Restaurant kann man abends gut und nicht überteuert essen. An den sehr großzügigen Außenbereich, der allerdings in den benachbarten Parkplatz eines Einkaufsmarktes übergeht, grenzt ein abgezäunter Kinderspielplatz an. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
