We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Location is near the monasteries that we plan to visit. Our room has a balcony and a nice view. There's also a lift in the building, so we don't gave to climb the stairs with heavy luggage.
It has a wide variety of breakfast spread.
We arrived earlier than check in time, around 2pm, there's no one at the reception. We went back after lunch and were able to check in. Maybe we should have informed them that we are arriving earlier than 3pm.

Situé au pied des météores cet hôtel est tout à fait convenable et confortable. Nous y avons passé une très bonne nuit malgré que nous avions demandé une chambre avec deux lits séparés. Oh surprise un grand et un petit. je me suis sacrifié et pris le petit lit un peu raide tout de même. Pour une nuit pas plus ! Le repas du soir était correct ainsi que le petit déjeuner.

Convient parfaitement. Superbe vue près de la route vers les deux monastères les plus populaires. Un monsieur travaille au café en face. Très charmant et accueillant, allez lui dire bonjour. Il nous a conseillé le restaurant Gardenia, c’était très bon et mignon (depuis 1936).

Beds are uncomfortable, service is non-existent, breakfast was stale bread and rotten (not an exaggeration) eggs. Hotel is relatively clean & rooms are spacious. Needless to say, view is magnificent. There are many better options within the same price range.

I stayed at Meteoritis Hotel for two days at end of December 2023. It is located in Kastaraki and a path leads upto the Meteora Rocks from right on front of the hotel. Kastaraki is about 30 minutes walking from Kalambaka (where the train station is) or a short taxi ride costing 6 Euros.
The hotel and the room itself was clean, the staff nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The hotel bar outside the premises was mosty closed though. If you want tea outside breakfast hours, during the day, you can grab a tea/coffee from the restaurant in a hotel next door located on left side of this one. There are also a few convenience stores around. I generally ate at Efrosino, which is 5 minutes walking if you make a right when you come out of the hotel.
The Kastaraki village is walking distance and also the Meteora rocks. Atleast two monasteries are approachable on foot. It is a quiet location and good for walking around.

Lovely room with plenty space for the 3 of us. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Good location with little shops around and good price. Buffet breakfast was the usual Greek style breakfast but the spread was more varied than other places we stayed in the region . All in all a pleasant stay
