In the beginning the lodge was very difficult to find the directions on Google maps was horrible, not their fault but that's made it difficult to find. Also, when I stayed at the room I was put in a very small room with no windows and I booked a luxury room with a pool view that didn't happen. They put me in another room that was a little better but after I noticed a burn mark on the wall and along the floor trim from a faulty wire that was coming from a lamp or some implement, I decided I would did not feel safe and needed to get out. I asked for a two-night refund and they denied me and said that I was not being honest about the burn marks or the faulty wiring in the lamp which is wrapped with tape. That is not electrical tape. I will never stay here again. Also, there was no hot water available until a couple of hours after I arrived. They said because of load shedding and I was informed later that load shedding did not happen that night. It doesn't matter if it was a matter of keeping the water warm before your guest gets there. It's a matter of flipping a switch. Anyway, bad review. Never will I stay there again and then they refused my refund

We were here for an overnight after long flights on our way to Botswana. It proved to be a very easy pick up from the airport, a very comfortable room, friendly competent staff, and good food. We are going to stay again and we reccomend it.

The upkeep of the rooms are terrible. The duvet was old and worn, no extra blankets for a 6 degree JHB, they still have a heating panel against the wall in 2024 which did nothing to warm me up as its on the other side of the room, the bed needs replacing, the shower was cold, the toilet pot was loose. They should give their guests directions to the property as their one gate closes in the afternoon but this is the route the GPS will direct you from the airport. I had to eventually call them for directions. overall, not a great experience. Doubt i'll be back.

Aerotropolis was the perfect place to overnight near Or Tambo. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean. It is safe as well being in a gated community.

Lovely place, including pool and area around. Staff was very sweet and helpful. Initially the communication was poor, so it was difficult getting a shuttle. Otherwise, good place to be.

Everything was just right. The stairs at the giraffe room where we was staying can be a problem for older people. My husband nearly fall. Towels was realy hard and not folded and in room. But it was not a problem for me.

Staff was very accommodating and even waited till late so i can check in as my flight was delayed by 4 hours. The breakfast was very good considering the price and its well priced.

Not impressed at all. From the get go everything went wrong! Airport shuttle not available without any notification. Had to sort out our transport to location provided which is another issue as it's not the correct entrance address as on the website. No fan in bedroom, no air conditioning, we could hardly sleep. The ladies at the lodge are lovely and made us a tasty breakfast. But unfortunately we will not visit them again.
