I recently stayed at Castle Inn Hotel in Khandwa and I must say that while certain aspects were commendable, the presence of cockroaches in my room made for a highly unpleasant experience. Firstly, I would like to mention that the hotel's infrastructure was impressive. The exteriors were well-maintained and the interior décor was pleasing to the eye. Additionally, its proximity to the railway station was a major convenience, especially for a weary traveler like myself. The hotel staff was generally polite and helpful. They assisted me with my luggage and promptly addressed any concerns or queries I had. However, despite their assistance, the persistent issue of cockroaches in my room overshadowed the positive aspects of my stay. On my first night, I observed several cockroaches scurrying around the room. I immediately brought this to the attention of the hotel staff, hoping for a quick resolution. Disappointingly, the next night, these unwanted guests made another appearance, crawling on the bed itself. I was appalled by this lack of hygiene and cleanliness. In an attempt to provide evidence of the situation, I even took photographs of the cockroaches and shared them with the hotel staff. Unfortunately, my efforts seemed to be in vain as the insects were still present the following day. To make matters worse, during my stay, I discovered a cockroach in my tea pot after drinking tea. This was the last straw for me, as it caused me immense disgust and further contributed to my negative experience. I must express my disappointment and mention that this incident has soured my perception of both Castle Inn Hotel and the booking. While I understand that glitches and issues can occur, the presence of cockroaches indicates a significant oversight in the hotel's cleanliness and hygiene standards.
