The hotel is beautiful, specially the patios. The location is just 10 minutas walking from the North Gate of the wall. In reception they do not speak English, but they were very helpful with the translator. However, if you really need to rest, this hotel is not made for you. At 7am there were already families and kids shouting and playing in the patio. Even with taps, it was too noisy to keep sleeping. The hotel is also offering folkloric dressing and photos shoots, so you might find people take pictures in front of your room anytime, also at night with flashes

Lovely hotel with a beautiful internal garden in the centre. In the heart of the old city of Pingyao and very close to one of the main roads where all the shops and restaurants are. The staff didn’t speak English (as it’s often the case in China, so no surprise) but they called a friend/colleague who did and she translated for us on the phone. Overall they were very friendly. I would recommend to make sure you have a translator app working on your phone before getting there.

I spent only one night here and in the (early) morning I was very sorry to leave. The hotel perfectly satisfies those in search of traditional China. In addition, you get an extremely helpful staff that solves every problem.

It would be a shame for tourists discovering Pingyao to miss out on such a historic monument, which also offers pretty, romantic, and traditional surroundings. Very friendly staff. If you've never tried a courtyard before, this is an excellent opportunity for quality and price.

Hotel was in a beautifully restored building, staff was nice but did not speak English. Cleanliness was ok, however I found many long hair in the room I believe housekeeping did not use vacuum cleaner. The reason why I would not stay here again is that it was impossible to relax. I could hear any noise coming from the courtyard, including photographers giving loud instructions for hours and hours to models dressed in traditional Chinese clothes. I was even asked to move out from the picture when I dared to access my room.

Very friendly hosts and lovely hotel in traditional style. Would recommend!

The hotel is beautifully decorated with la terns and the ascetic the host is very welcoming and helped us to arrange transport and guide us where to explore within Pingyao Great Wall. The only iisue we hve is that tge is not enough walk space in front of the bed and tge bathroom is always wet probably beacuse the bad drainage whi h need go be fixed..

The shuttle service is good, the room environment is comfortable, but the bathroom is small. I guess this can't be changed if you live in the ancient city! I didn't dare to take a shower and just soaked my feet and went to sleep! I had a full breakfast, very polite 9 dishes and one soup

Must give a thumbs up! Jimei! Come on! Ancient style! Very clean and tidy! I saw with my own eyes that the place was cleaned right away! After we arrived, the boss took the trouble to explain to us. Because it was my first time here. There were many things I didn't understand! There are two jujube trees in the yard! They are so beautiful! The most important thing is... I said I wanted to eat jujubes, and the boss shook down a bunch of them for me😄, and even brought me a basin! They are so sweet! No exaggeration in writing. I am a complete passerby, staying here for the first time! But he is so considerate. He will wait for us to come back at night. So I must give him support! Recorded in Cheng's Courtyard😄

The courtyard is unique, the room is beautiful and clean, the boss and his family are very welcoming, and it is convenient to get around. It takes only a few minutes to get to the main street. The breakfast is home-cooked, and the millet porridge is especially good. I am very satisfied!

The people in the store are super nice. They will tell you where to park your car and then take you to where you live. The environment is quiet and beautiful. The boss is also super nice. He will tell you the check-in spots and help mark the route!!!

A very typical manor house, the courtyard in the middle is very comfortable, you can drink tea and play cards in it at night, the environment is also very elegant, but it is a bit far from the entrance, if you have a lot of luggage, you need the boss to pick it up or take an electric car yourself. 

The scenery of the courtyard is beautiful, the layout is very elegant, the room is clean and sanitary, the breakfast is also great and delicious, and they also picked us up at the station. The boss is very enthusiastic and gave us a silver note as a souvenir. I highly recommend it
