Stella Resort Khanom
4/53 Reviews
Belongs to famous hotels, suitable for backpackers to live. The room has air conditioning and refrigerator. There are no slippers and toiletries, so you need to bring your own. Many hotels here in Thailand do not have flushing supplies. It is recommended that tourists bring their own small bottles, which are convenient to use and easy to carry. The Stella hotel is very close to the beach, and it takes 10 minutes to walk to Cannon Beach. Because the location is a bit remote, it is safer to travel with boys. The boss of the famous hotel can rent a motorcycle, and can also help contact the person who chartered the car.

Excellent location: right on the beach. Lucky that a fire show was scheduled for the evening — excellent performance. Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Drinknservice friendly and drinks were very good (margaritas)

The hotel is located near the beach. There are restaurants, easy to find things to eat, places to sit, eat, hang out, shops playing fun music, beautiful beaches, inexpensive food. But the room booked has a sea view. But when I left, there was construction of a restaurant. Makes it not a sea view. Food in the room and refrigerator can be eaten right away, free of charge. As for breakfast, it is included, but there are 2 sets to choose from: porridge. Or the fried chicken set. Overall, recommended. The service staff is good.

How do you say it! It's very far, far away. I changed trains from the train station twice to get there. It took me more than 3 hours. In the end, I was slaughtered for hundreds of baht by the old man Sanbengzi. Because the road to the resort is not the prescribed route he runs, there is an extra charge, damn. Okay, but fortunately, the resort is large and ”fun”. If it is not for the old water facilities of the playground, it is really good value. It's a pity that the water in the playground is so acidified that it almost poisoned me. At first I thought it was disinfectant water. Forget it, maybe it's new water now. Nevertheless, it is also very fun here. This is this very large manor, with gardens, lawns, lotus flowers, artificial lakes, farms, zoos, playgrounds, tractors, crocodiles, parrots and a bunch of others. The chicken and the others live together. There is a boat for free to play, but I don’t know which one of the young guys pulled a pile of shit in the boat, ****, don’t be a domestic guest, or you will be too embarrassed. Of course, it may be pulled by the ”wild dog”, there are also fun draw bridges, and there are free fish spas. There are many ponds, you can lie down and enter and let the fish eat. You can only eat here, because it's not worth it to go out too far, and the travel expenses are more expensive than meals. Of course, it’s also close to the seaside. If you don’t have time to rent a car to play, it’s also close to Koh Samui. Let’s talk about eating. The store’s cooking is really good. It’s a little expensive, but when you eat it, you will have a lot of milk and juice for breakfast. The waiter is very beautiful, probably the boss’s daughter. Looking at that mouthful of orthodontic teeth, it’s not something ordinary Thais can afford. The boss is a bit like a Chinese, and his English is very slippery. The proprietress was very enthusiastic and drove us to the market bus station in a luxury car, which was simply beautiful. Finally, I warmly recommend that everyone is not afraid to live here! Of course, there is another point that the resort has its own independent swimming pool, which is very suitable for family pavilions or couples. The water quality is first-rate. Pro-test. But there may be some steps in the room here. If you don’t turn on the light to go to the bathroom at night, be careful, you will throw shit. Everything else is fine. Ah, there are big spiders in the tropics that will flow into the house, be careful, it's really big, so hairy, big legs, big eyes, green light at night, almost scared me to death. Just hide in the closet. The signal in the deep mountains and old forest here is not good, only the front desk has wifi, even if you bring your own, it is useless. The boss has a black cat casually licking it, which is very clingy.

Saw a lot of not-so-good reviews in 2018, yet we still decided to give it a try. On arrival, check in process was smooth and easy, the lady was very helpful. The beach and pool view from our room was breathtaking. Love the idea of being able to lie on the soft comfy bed to enjoy the scenic view and the sunrise. The room was big, the bed and pillows were soft, clean and comfortable. The air-con was cold and the water heater was warm. There was a one-door fridge to store the drinks we bought. The bathroom was big, with a shower, a bathtub that was facing the beach. We stayed for 2 nights. 1st breakfast was ala carte and we both ordered American Breakfast, we enjoyed it and especially love the pineapple jam. 2nd day breakfast was buffet style, other than the American breakfast, they also serve salad, chicken porridge, soup and fried rice. Nothing special but all taste good and you would want to take again and again. Having said so, there are things to improve. There were two flies and some black ants in our room that welcome us. Those flies were quite disturbing. The beach was not clean with trash and the sand was mixed with lots of broken shells making the the stroll on the beach a little unpleasant. The swimming pool was cleaned in the morning but towards afternoon it became dirty again even though there was a filter to clean from time to time. In conclusion, this was a very pleasant stay for us and I am looking forward to visit again. Staying here was a real and great experience to relax and rejuvenate.
