Lake Harmony Inn

I have been coming to Lake Harmony Inn for a few years with my 2 chihuahuas. I go at least 2 or 3 times each year. Beautiful, clean well kept rooms, comfortable beds, wonderful owners Rob and Morgan always making sure you have everything you need. There is a beautiful lake right outside your door, lounge chairs, tables for eating, restaurants in walking distance. Waterfalls, trails, biking. Looking forward to coming again.

The room was what we needed. Cute and Comfy. Walking distance to amazing food. The pet cat was a bonus.

Contactless check in was easy, quiet quaint little place to stay. Beautiful view of lake even if it was too cold to fully enjoy it. Can walk to a few different places to eat. Parking lot was full one night but we were able to find a place to park even tho a lot of boat things were in the paved area of the side lot.

Walked down to the lake after dinner and saw three deer

The property is situated in a beautiful setting. The room was recently renovated with exception to the bathroom shower which needed to be replaced. The shower curtain was old and moldy. The room was very small, but cute. The bed squeaked when you move, but was comfortable. I would imagine in the summertime, it's a very popular spot.

I didn't like that there was no human contact at check in - left us wondering what was going on

As far as I'm concerned, the Lake Harmony is the Belle of the Ball. For places to stay at Lake Harmony, you have either Air BnB, the resort at the other side of the lake, or Lake Harmony Inn. Lake Harmony Inn is far superior to all other options. The Resort at the other side of the lake is run down and the water over there is overgrown with lilly pads. Air BnB is expensive and there is no guarantee that you will have Lake rights for your stay (this was the case of a couple we bumped into). Ont he other hand, Lake Harmony Inn is located right on a super clean and clear section of the lake and lake usage is included. There are steps going down from the inn to a grassy knoll that overlooks the lake. My wife and I brought our inflatable Kayak and were able to walk it right down from our room and put in on the property. There are 2 good restaurants that border the property so you can literally walk to all your meals. The room was super clean. Everything is handled via text or cell regarding supplies, check in and check out. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room came with a mini fridge/freezer and Satelite TV. There is a microwave and Keurig in the office that is available for use too. It's a 10 minute drive to Hickory Run where there are plenty of hiking trails, if you get bored with the lake. The town of Blakeslee is 15 minutes away if you run low on anything. Lake Harmony Inn has everything you could want from a vacation stay and compared with the other options, it's the Belle of the Ball. Quite the hidden gem.
