Remote was broke to the room. After going down to the front desk 4 times we finally had someone come up and was told that we will need to change the volume and the Channels at the TV. Not very relaxing to get up every time we needed to make a change. Was supposed to get a discount on the room and we conveyed this to the front desk at check out and the lady just ignored my wife and checked us out with out adding a discount and we had to get the manager who said since she had already approved the check out that no discount could be added and that she would give us some reward points. Just a horrible experience front start to finish. Wouldn't even check to see if there were rooms available for check in because it wasn't 3 pm yet. We were only 30 minutes early to check in.

Hotel needs more attention. It’s an old building that was remodeled, but they did not do a good job or it’s deteriorating fast. Elevator was small. Restroom door was not closing right. Shower door was opening. Desk was all flimsy to the point of almost falling, not usable. The mattress was sinking. I stayed two nights and room service did not bother to do the cleaning. For the price I would of expected a better service.

This hotel was clean and the staff friendly and accommodating. It’s apparent the hotel was run down pretty badly in the past and is trying hard to rise to Wyndham standards but still needs work. Biggest issue was a broken and unsecured side door that should have been a priority. The bed was hard and the in room coffee service old and did not work well. The refrigerator was inside a cabinet and slid out every time it was accessed. It’s apparent the hotel is working on its issues and we will stay there again in hopes our next stay will be perfect.

Very nice hotel, but next time I would probably go to the west side of the city because morning Houston traffic was a nightmare...it took me an hour just to get through the city. The bed was nice, shower was clean and handicap accessible. Very pleasant and welcoming front desk. Location is near some shopping and chain-type restaurants, although I found a little non-chain Mexican restaurant in a shopping area where the people were very friendly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. This facility is close to the hospital and home of friends where I was visiting. Hotel is nestled in beautiful trees and foliage making it homier.

We decided to stay at this hotel over the weekend to avoid the extreme weather conditions. Unfortunately, our plans backfired when someone stole my husband's Ford tailgate from the hotel parking lot. Even though the truck was parked right in front of the hotel entrance, the front desk staff missed the whole incident. This is the hotel I usually recommend to my family members, but after this experience, I won't be doing that anymore. I'm extremely upset that nothing was done by the manager, and I kept getting the runaround. The customer service was horrible, and I'm very disappointed

Staff was amazing, and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who are trying to have a relaxing time. The front desk was very welcoming, and very personable. They are under renovations, and even though it was a little loud at times. They finish before bedtime
