Amazing hotel. Great hot springs ♨️ The biggest hotel we even seen in Japan

Great hotel great dinner buffet breakfast was “meh” but everything else was awesome

Hotel Kyocera is probably one of the largest hotel in Kirishima. It has two buildings ( main and annex) and looks quite good architecturally. They are connected by a bridge on the 3 floor which has the walking escalator- and a display of the various places that have been listed as world heritage sites in Japan. Inside the main building, there is a glass church which is ideal for weddings. In the basement, there is a large onsen, and spa. It is certainly a good place for having a holiday. The overall condition of the rooms are good- and the rooms are of good size. My room faces the East and has a perfect view of sunrise! Kyocera Hotel, self-driving is more convenient! The breakfast area is large and there are not many food choices. The hotel hosts local Japanese groups, so the hot springs are already crowded at 8:00 pm The hotel and restaurant staff are so polite and well organized! The room is comfortable and big! Close to God's Word Park! Very convenient!

There are restaurants and a small church for weddings in the hotel. The room is large and comfortable, with a high CP value. There are some restaurants nearby, and it takes 15 minutes to get to AEON.

The first choice for self-driving travel, it takes less than 20 minutes to drive from Kagoshima Airport to the hotel, with plenty of parking spaces and free parking! We stayed in the main building, and the church design was very beautiful. The room is spacious and clean, and the hot spring is comfortable. Just a short drive away is Donki Mega shopping and many food options.

Foraging: There is a Nanban Bento (Picture 1) not far from the hotel. It takes about three minutes to walk there from the hotel navigation. This store is located at a crossroads. In front of the store and on the opposite road, if you walk in the direction marked in Figure 2, you can reach an area with concentrated dining and shopping in about ten minutes, and it is a straight road. The road opposite leads to Aeon Shopping Center, and the road to the door can also go to Don Quijote. Both places have rich dining options. play: Navigate from the hotel to Hayato Mound, a ten-minute walk. It is worth seeing. It is a relic left over from the Heian period and dates back more than 800 years. There is also an exhibition hall next to it, which charges 180 yen. Although it is small, the exhibition is first-class and explains the history very well. From the hotel, you can walk to Kagoshima Shrine. It takes less than 20 minutes. It is the only place where the Japanese ancestor Wu Taibo is worshiped. He is from China, so he should also visit his hometown. Kagoshima Jingu Shrine is also one of Japan’s national treasures. You can walk to Kokubun Station from the hotel, which takes about 26 minutes. Take the departure bus to Maruo in front of the station. The bus schedules for going and returning are shown in Figures 3 and 4. If you go on Saturday and Sunday, because there are few buses, you have to stay there for four hours before you can get on the return bus. If you go from Monday to Friday, you can go for two hours. In Maruo, two hours is enough. You can go to Maruo Waterfall and take a bath at Maeda Onsen on the roadside. She has an open-air bath and the hot spring is flowing, which is super cool! The hot spring eggs sold are 100 yen each, and they are very fragrant! After coming out, we walked to the Kirishima Onsen Market where steamed goods are sold for lunch. Everything there is delicious, especially the sausages. If so, two hours is enough.

It's an old-fashioned hotel, but the room is very large. There is a view of Kirishima City outside the window. If you stay on the side facing the mountain, the view should be better. The hotel's breakfast is average, but it has the famous local vinegar drink, and the pasta and salad are very special and delicious. There is a public hot spring downstairs. There are not many pools, but the hot spring pool with a constant temperature that is almost the same as the body temperature is very unique and recommended.
