Kirishima Kokusai Hotel Reviews

Hot spring hotel in an area renowned for its hot springs. I deliberately chose the Japanese tatami-style to experience more of the local culture. As you can see from the photos, the view from my room was really nice! I also like the fact that both dinner and breakfast were included, as there isn't much around. Very comfortable stay overall, but mind you - the smell of sulphur (possibly?) from the hot springs is always there!

Very bad. The facilities are old. The food is bad. The room charged such price is not fair. Don’t book!

My sincerest gratitude to the professional service and helpfulness of the front desk staff in particular the Div. Manager, Mr. Atsuyoshi Kubota, who patiently search for available medical service during late hours for treating my wife's injury and also voluntarily arrange a staff to accompany us to the hospital. Ram Kumar, the accompanying staff, is instrumemental in our communication to the medical personnels and he is so kind to arrange late dinner for us at the hotel's discretion. They not only demonstrate the highest level of professionalism but also their genuine care of the well being of the customers. Once again, big big thanks to Mr. Kubota and his team of beautiful people. By the way, good breakfast and dinner, both in terms of the menu as well as service and venue.

It's a revamped hotel with new facilities! The tidiness and clean impressed me! The breakfast and dinner buffet were in good quality as well especially the beef. Highly recommend!

位置於霧島溫泉街旁，附近有便利商店，前往鄰近景店，如霧島神話之里公園、霧島神宮、高千穗牧場及丸尾淹都只是10分鐘左右或以下既車程，酒店停車場更免費停泊，非常方便👍🏻 房間重新裝修，乾淨整潔👍🏻 今次訂了內附露天風呂房間，但原來風呂只係普通水，並非溫泉水，酒店內既商店及附近溫泉街商店都冇湯花售賣，非常可惜😞 結果我地揸車去左附近另一間酒店買湯花浸溫泉😏 但房間望出去風景宜人，非常舒適👍🏻 是次為生日正日入住，酒店亦無任何既祝福，即使自助晚餐時，我地已自行準備生日祝賀，但酒店職員就算看見亦沒有任何祝福，有點欠缺親切感，相比其他酒店較為冷漠。 設施方面，酒店很多地方略舊，但陸續將進行不同裝修，包括公共溫泉♨️，故硬件上仍然滿意呢間酒店👍🏻 推薦👍🏻

The balance of everything is just right. The hot springs have retained their history, while the lobby, corridors, breakfast area, etc. have been renovated and are very comfortable. I would like to stay here again.

I purchased an accommodation plan that included breakfast and dinner. Dinner and breakfast were all buffet style. The food was rich in variety and cost-effective. The large bathhouse has a hot spring mud experience, which is nice. The service from the hotel staff is very good and the location is also good.

I booked a semi-open-air hot spring room through trip.com, but when I went to the hotel, the staff said that the room was only hot water, not onsen!! We have to pay an extra 1,650 yen to book a private bath to have hot springs⋯⋯

Hot springs with large sulfur spring water are comfortable. The buffet is rich and the elderly like it very much👍

Far exceeded expectations! The lobby is very new, probably renovated in the past two years, and the front desk has a great attitude. I arranged a room at the end of the corridor on the 7th floor, and I was very satisfied (yes, I just like the quiet end room, and the chance of encountering noisy neighbors is halved). The room is a millennium configuration. It is indeed a bit old, but the facilities are complete and the functions are faultless. . The most surprising thing is that the balcony is accessible. You can enjoy the natural breeze by opening the glass door. Unlike some hotel balconies that are just decorations. The scenery is even more stunning, with clouds and mist lingering on rainy days, which perfectly explains why Kirishima is Kirishima. The breakfast and dinner buffets are extremely rich in variety, and the staff are constantly replenishing them. However, the flow of people is a bit too large, especially at dinner. It feels like disaster victims are grabbing relief food.

The hotel is large and has been renovated, but you can also see that many places have a sense of history. I wanted to have a comfortable trip while pregnant. When I checked in, I was asked if I would like to pay extra to transfer to a family room for children. We were just a couple and did not transfer (it is recommended not to pay extra if we don’t have children. The upgraded room is near the restaurant 3/F, which is very noisy). I got the 4/F room near the end. I had to walk a lot to get in and out of the lobby. It was a bit difficult with my big belly. I felt that the hotel was a bit inconsiderate. Breakfast and dinner were very good.

The hotel room is okay, there is a place to stay, the hotel is in a good location, the beach is right outside the door, nearby restaurants, restaurants, hotel facilities are average, but you can choose it next time! The environment is comfortable and the price-performance ratio is good!

I think there were no rooms available due to the last minute reservation, but the room was on the back side of the hotel and had a bad view. The sound of the door opening and closing from the next room was loud, and you could hear people walking and talking in the hallway. There was a wide selection of food and it tasted good, but there were too many guests and it was extremely crowded.

The price of the hotel is very cost-effective for two meals. The hot spring is very large. It is a very good hotel. The scenery is quite good. You can overlook Sakurajima, Maruo Onsen, and the Kirishima Mountains.
