Amazing hospitality. Its like your family hosting you (without the gossiping :))). It is always my number one choice when I'm to visit the island. The location is also very convenient. Potamos has some nice places to have a drink, plus it is in the middle of the island which means equal distance from all the beaches.

Άνετο δωμάτιο , εξαιρετικά καθαρό, το απόλυτο πρωινό χωρίς φλυαρίες και εντυπωσιασμούς , άψογη εξυπηρέτηση από ανθρώπους που όταν λένε «εις το επανιδείν» το εννοούν με την καρδιά τους! Hotel was excellent and is highly recommended. High level of design and well thought through with many elements well designed. Clean and neat. Great breakfast carefully varied with many local products and exceptional flavors. Dimitris and Maria were excellent hosts; caring, concerned and helpful. We don’t usually want advice or recommendations, but Dimitri was excellent. He took time and thoroughly explained and showed us how to appreciate the island. His recommendations were very beneficial and made our stay much better. Dimitris and Maria took care of us and their hotel as they would like to be treated.

Demetri and Maria were wonderful hosts. The room
was perfect with all the luxurious amenities. Slept well and the breakfast was absolutely perfect with lots to choose from. Including homemade bread by their son. We will definitely stay here again.

We have just completed a five night stay in the Lidea Hotel. Ttruthfully it deserves more than 5.stars. The hosts were very friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. Their attention to detail is excellent with nothing overlooked. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well serviced everyday. Breakfast was exceptionally well presented and delicious with some variety introduced each day. The business is run by Dimitrios and Maria and with the assistance of their son Alexis (who in another life could be a confectioner due to the delicious creations he created for breakfast - perhaps he has learned from Maria) . Dimitrios was very helpful ond our first morning and gave us an excellent overview of the Island . He kindly pointed out some very nice restaurants also and marked out the best beaches and historical sights. Maria is a charming host and made our happiness a priority. We cannot rate Lidea highly enough and it is already on our must return to list.

These apartments are located in the quiet and utterly charming village of Potamos. About 25 minutes from the ferry port, this village is located in a lush, green area which is near the most breathtaking gorges, beaches and mountains. The owners, Maria, Dimitris and their son, Alexis were amazing hosts who wanted to tell you everything about their beautiful island. Breakfast was plentiful and full of home made delicacies. The room had AC and a fridge and kettle and for us, this was important. The main fearure of the area was cooler nights with a breeze. This enabled the traveller to actually enjoy a meal in one of the three restaurants in the area. Potamos had a great little supermarket and actually everything you would need. This was a perfect place to stay to get your bearings and visit many of the diverse places in the North of Kythera. We verruca enjoyed the heart felt welcome of our hosts.
