Euphoria Palm Beach Resort

The resort itself e.g pools, lobby, gardens ,restaurant cafes, beach and other facilities etc are nice clean and fancy . But the actual hotel rooms are not 5 star more like a 3 star standard room been to turkey 3 times so was abit disappointed in standards of room we had the family room( same decor as the club and twin room as was shown these also) the shower head was broken and water would get very hot or very cold mid shower. the door frame came off after a couple of uses and we couldn't lock bathroom door as lock fell off with the door frame was like staying in a shed and kids room had no lighting I mean how bad to not even have a light we asked for a lamp but was ignored 4 times. In the end gave up asking and used our phone torch. They fixed the shower and door after a day so dont know why it was so difficult to give us lighting. Main bedroom bed was comfortable other room had 2 kids beds which were good but the 3rd was a folded metal one they gave us to accommodate us was a poor quality mattress with springs you could feel in your body so uncomfortable. To think we payed for a 5 star hotel for all 6 of us and got that was so dissapointing. The room was cleaned regularly cleaner was lovely. Reception staff just ignore you and are miserable and stuck up don't even smile which costs nothing. Infact apart from the cleaners the rest aren't very friendly unless you tip them all the time. Food in the main restaurant is vile yes it's turkish food which i do like usually but this was poor hot drinks would run out and no where to sit if your a fanily of 6 more variety for a 5 star would be nice as barely any meat dishes think it was mostly 1 chicken grilled and 1 other meat in veg just mostly soggy vegetables and dry chips.looks like alot of variety until you lift the lid and it's the same food. Luckily though they have other food stands around the hotel which serve kids food like pizza, burgers jacket potatoes and waffles and ice cream. Ques are a bit long though, and they again rude and miserable and close early than stated .we was ok for daytimes but these food stations closed around 5ish so was hungry most evenings so relied on snacks from outside as the restaurant food was horrible i dreaded it.The patisserie was a bit empty with stale cakes they didn't have much there but was okay . The soft drinks were nice the slushy machine was really nice too . The hotel had so many pools I think 4 altogether so it was brilliant so many sun loungers too. And the hotel itself feels safe as your in little buildings scattered around the resort there is lots to do . The pebble beach was nice lots of sun loungers there too and food is good there . Wifi is excellent! There are lots of Toilets around the resort which is handy with kids but a couple were quite dirty with faeces on walls and broken locks could be cleaned regularly. We booked all our excursions through a guy called onur outside the hotel on the right he was lovely. The hotel did not tell us about

definitely not a 5 star hotel, does not cater for English in any way, the hotel rooms were not cleaned in the entire week other than the bed being made, food is appalling, staff don't speak English and are quite rude - most definitely the worst holiday weve ever encountered and wont recommend this place or Love Holidays for selling it to us! Advertised in Side but its not its 30 mins past Side and in the middle of nowhere

Before we get to positives and negatives BEWARE that the staff come round and ask for you to write a review. This happened to us and when I showed them they said no and rewrote my review and put 5 * for everything so I have now removed that review. Okay so positives first.. - grounds are kept lovely -gym is pretty decent - rooms were kept nice and clean. - entertainment was okay and the entertainment staff were friendly And now the not so positives.. - food is not catered for English at all, we are not fussy but we really struggled to find anything we could eat and one night even got upset stomachs. - one dish was labelled as vegetarian but was meat. -our first day they signed someone else in to our room and luckily for us they didn’t steal anything and waited for us to come back to the room and got it sorted with us but could have ended a lot worse. Overall we still enjoyed our holiday however it’s definitely not a 5 * still a nice place to go just be mindful that food is not great.

Shame on On the Beach for selling this hotel as a 5 star, it should not be sold to English people as they do not cater for them. The Hotel was big and our room was clean That is the end of the positive .Food was terrible,You had to be up for 6 in morning as there wasn’t enough sun loungers . The cocktails were terrible the team spoke very little English. We had to eat out every night we went to a lovely place called Jacks . If it was advertised as self catering then at least you would know what you were getting it was a 3 star at the maximum.

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all very friendly and the entertainment staff were really involving and had a lot of energy. We found the best pool to spend our time was the activity pool, because there was always something to do.
